About: I have been taking care of dogs for almost 10 years now. During that time I have gained experience with older dogs, diabetic dogs, puppies and everything in between. I currently own a rescue dog who I have been doing high level obedience with. We participate in dogs sport like rally obedience, fetch, fastCAT, barn hunt, lure coursing and most recently scent work. When I come to take care of your dog I will treat them as if they were my own with lots of love. I want to make you feel comfortable about leaving your dog knowing someone responsible is going to take care of them. I have a high energy dog. His care involves daily walks, and lots of training including scent work, learning new tricks or building up muscle and rear end awareness. My favorite activity is walking and training dogs. I will care for your dog with love and kindness. If you give my specifics of how you like your dog handled I am more than happy to follow that. About: My husband and I are experienced, loving pet parents. We have almost 20 years together, and 20 years of personal care for our own cats & dogs, and have taken care of many other small critters. We love, love, LOVE animals and will care for your furbaby as if they are our own (and our own are spoiled, but we still have to have reasonable expectations of rules). If staying with us, they have the run of the house and will sleep with us in our bed (if that's something they are into. Otherwise, crating is fine!). If I am coming to your home and walking, I will love and care for them just as I do my sweet girls. Our home is pet friendly, and all pets can have free roam of the house. Imagine they are on a vacation - looked after, paid attention to, but not expected to be on their best behaviour. We have lots of experience with animal rescue in 3 countries (yes, 3!) and give our free time and funds to help homeless animals where we are able. We would love to watch your furbabies. Every dog is a great dog and deserves endless amounts of love and attention... and treats of course! I work a full time 9-5 job but I am available for late night walks/check in and weekends. Deidre was just AWESOME! Was really nervous about having someone come to our house and care for our 8 week old puppy. Deidre put all those nerves to rest! I don’t know where to even begin. Julia was absolutely amazing and our two boys just loved her! On the first home visit she came in, hyped up the boys into going outside, and gave them lots of treats. Our dogs are not normally around other people but they are also big babies. Britney did a last-minute drop in visit for me when I had to do an emergency overnight stay out-of-state; I'm super grateful that she felt comfortable enough to drop-in on an animal she hadn't yet met!
