“Having Jiahna care for Gideon has been a real pleasure. She was very helpful and flexible as we did a meet and greet and evaluated if Gideon would be a good fit. She took time to ask really good questions about Gideon and learn all she could so it's the better care for Gideon. From the get-go, Gideon loved being at her house and sharing time with her puppy. It was a good fit. I always knew that Jiahna had Gideon's best in mind, and I always got good reports at the end of the day. So very glad that I got to meet and have Gideon stay with Jiahna. I highly recommend her as a safe and professional Rover person for your canine needs. Gideon will miss her for sure and I have really appreciated the care and great connection that she showed in caring for Gideon. 💜🐕”

About: 2025 update. My lap is nearly always occupied by a 10 year old black cat named Darth Vader. Then theres Mimi, another (softer) black cat and Murder Thumbs, the polydactyl calico floof (“the Girls”) I’ve been around animals as long as I can remember. For many years I had large dogs, pitbulls and mixes. Ours have crossed the rainbow bridge, but that didn’t remove my talent and care with canines. I currently work full time in Everett. My profession will take priority, but I do not work overtime, nor on weekends. I generally walk my dog one of his 2 daily walks and my partner the second. This seems like a strange question. I care for my pets by feeding them, making sure they have water, cuddling and loving them, walks, and sometimes just naps together.

About: I've worked at the Seattle Animal Shelter (learning to understand dogs' behaviors and needs), and have had GREAT dogs most of my life. I lost my furry best friend last year to cancer, and needed to take some time off. I work from home, just bought a great new place (with lots of fun places for dogs to enjoy). I'm looking to do Rover and take great care of your dog(s) before I jump back into dog ownership. Happy to answer any questions you have. Owning a company gives me the most flexible schedule possible. In fact, I'm "training myself" to get ready for semi-retirement, and would like to spend more time doing things I love (caretaking dogs is one of those things), so your pup(s) will get plenty of attention. My house is dog-proofed, and a new fence was just built around our great outdoor space (Plenty of room for dogs to excersise and potty).

“Wonderful experience! You can tell they love our pets. Always gave clear reports at the end of the day and pics too. Will be adding Emily to our list of go-to peeps.”

About: I have had animals my entire life and they are my passion. I am also very passionate about training and have spent countless hours learning the latest techniques and tricks. I have worked in the animal field for the last 6 years. The past 5 as a triage nurse at a large specialty and emergency hospital. I am the one many of the doctors I work with go to for their pet sitting needs. Working in emergency has prepared me to take on all kinds of unique challenges. I love being able to use my experience to assure owners that their fur babies are in good hands. With my special interest in training I'm never one to shy away from reactive dogs or any other behavioral concerns. I am fear free certified and currently enrolled to get my KPA CTP certificate. Feel free to reach out for behavior consultations aswell. I have a special interest in working breeds, I know they have very specific that need to be fulfilled and I am familiar with igp and other bite sports. I have a Belgian malinois/German shepherd myself so have personal as well as professional experience handling the pointy-bitey breeds (they're actually my favorite) I work sun-monday but most of the time I bring the dogs I'm sitting with me to work. We have a reception team that acts as a doggy daycare and they are always loving on everyone. Some dogs dont like going and prefer being homebodies, which is also wonderful! In that case I will stop by on my lunch break At work, I do my best to make every visit as positive as possible. Meeting the pets where they're comfortable and going at their pace. As an ER tech I'm trained to recognize signs of distress and illness and determine the severity of such to determine level of care needed. As well as having extensive experience handling special needs pets both my own as well as my patients. And both medically and behavioral special needs.

About: As a proud owner of two dogs and three cats, I have firsthand experience in caring for a variety of pets. My daily routine includes feeding, grooming, and ensuring their overall well-being. I’ve also completed training with my dogs, focusing on obedience and behavior management. This has given me a deep understanding of animal behavior and the patience needed to handle pets with different temperaments. My personal experience with my own pets means I know how important it is to provide attentive and loving care. As a remote worker, my flexible schedule allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I can easily adjust my work hours to accommodate walks, feeding times, and any special needs your pet may have. Working from home means I’m always nearby, ensuring that your pet gets the attention and care they deserve throughout the day. I treat every pet like a member of the family, whether they’re in my home or yours. Safety is my top priority, and I always follow your specific instructions while respecting your pet’s cues and comfort levels. My home is a clean, pet-friendly environment with a secure fenced yard where pets can safely play and exercise. I also have the ability to keep pets separate if needed to ensure their well-being. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your space and routines, making sure your pet feels secure and at ease. Trust and communication are key, so I’m always available to provide updates and address any concerns.

“Lisa is awesome. She loves animals and her energy is kind, caring and fun. She provided daycare for our puppy while we worked and took a load of worry off our shoulders. I am so thankful for her help and that we found someone we trust completely!”

About: We’re not just pet sitters — we’re a dog-loving family who truly enjoys spending time with pups of all ages and personalities. Our experience started back in Burma, where we raised a whole family of Terriers — starting with one male dog and growing to a happy pack of six! Since moving to the U.S., we’ve continued caring for dogs, including raising Golden Retrievers from puppyhood with friends. What makes us different is that your dog isn’t just staying with one person — they’re joining a whole family who will treat them like one of our own. There’s always someone home, whether it’s my mom (who doesn’t work), my wife (who works remotely), or myself. We provide lots of love, attention, and a calm home environment with a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play. We’re experienced with: Puppies (feeding schedules, house routines, and play) Senior dogs (gentle walks, medications, and comfort) Bathing and basic grooming Helping anxious dogs feel safe and settled We do this out of passion — not just as a gig — and we can’t wait to meet your furry family member. Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. There’s always someone home — my mom is retired and stays at the house full-time, and my wife works remotely, so your dog will never be left alone for long. I’m also home most evenings and weekends. We keep a calm, consistent routine with plenty of outdoor time in our fenced backyard, regular walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of cuddles. Whether it’s a weekday or weekend, your pup will be surrounded by a loving and attentive family every day. We treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Safety and comfort are our top priorities. Our home is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood on the Everett–Mukilteo border, with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can play freely and securely. Inside, dogs have full access to our home — no crates unless requested — and we make sure they’re always supervised. There’s always someone home (my mom or my wife who works remotely), so your pup will never be left alone for long. We follow your dog’s routine closely — including feeding schedules, medications, and any special needs — to make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. We welcome meet-and-greets to make sure everyone feels comfortable, and we’re happy to send regular photo or video updates while you’re away. We care for your pup just like you would — with love, patience, and lots of tail wags.

Kevin G.
“I may be biased since I'm married to this man, but he's a great caregiver to our fur babies. We have two pit mix dogs (70lbs each), and three cats together. He can handle pitties like no other. As a person who grow up with multiple dogs, he is known to care for them. Almost all of our dogs we've had together so far are. Bully breeds, and Kevin knows exactly what to do with them as well.”

Glacier View dog parents share their Rover experiences
Erin did an amazing job taking care of my German Shepherd! I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to leaving my dog with sitters (as we all do I'm sure), but this was the best experience I think I've ever had through Rover. I will continue to use Erin in the future, I am so glad that I found her!
