About: I have many years of experience with dogs and cats. My pit mix, "Cash" is couch potato-esque but I take him walking or to the park for ball chasing, every day. I enjoy meeting dogs of all kinds! Your pet's safety is my priority while in my care. I work from home part-time and am a homebody. About: I've been around dogs for most of my life. I've had from a little tiny Mini Poodle to large dogs a Presa Canario German-Sheppard mix. I'm well verse with commands and training with treats. I at the moment can't have a dog where I live and I miss being around them, so I figured this will be a good way to visit with dogs without taking one home...hence "Fur Auntie!" I love all kinds of dogs, I do best with medium to large dogs because that's been the most recent years of experience. I'm not afraid of any breed, I had Sandi (Presa) and Lolah (Pitbull) my two large dogs. I've frequently dog sat for my friends several times in the last 10 years. At the time I had my dogs and boarded them at my house. I'm single and don't have kids so I'll have time for your fur baby!! I'll spend time with them if you don't have the time so they don't get lonely and keep them out of trouble....I'm very patient and I will take them time to make sure your fur baby has fun while we walk or visit. I'd love to meet you and your special fur family. This helps me too because I love dogs, I have 3 days off a week, this will keep me busy and help you out too, we both win! About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, dairy cattle, and pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!
