About: Hi, my name is Nadia! 👋🐾 I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who travels for work, and I will be spending the upcoming months in the Girdwood/Anchorage, AK area. I am looking to offer dog walking and drop-in pet care services for local pet owners. A little about me: I grew up on a 70-acre farm in north-central Florida, where I cared for a wide range of animals—from horses and cattle to dogs, cats, and even small pets like mice. I have hands-on experience with: • Basic wound care & bandaging • Medication administration • Puppy care & whelping assistance • Large-animal handling & general farm animal care At age 14, I began volunteering at animal rescues, starting with Two Tails Ranch in Williston, FL. More recently, I volunteered and worked part-time with the Valdez Animal Shelter in Alaska. I am 28 years old, responsible, safety-minded, and I have solid references from previous pet owners I’ve worked with. I understand that pets are family, and I strive to care for each animal like they’re my own. I’m excited to meet new furry friends and support local pet parents while I’m here! I do require a crate for stays. This is a non-negotiable. If you request to book please get back to me as soon as possible once I accept the booking. Delays in confirmation will lead to me respectfully declining the request through rovers flagging system. If there are two dogs they need to be booked as two. I will not accept bookings for a single dog and have a second sprung on me last minute. I currently work 9am-5pm but my schedule can be flexible if needed! I’m happy to do evening drop ins and am available for your last minute overnight needs. I am currently only available to pet sit in your home. Unfortunately I do not have the ability to watch pets at my current residence.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was young—dogs/puppies and cats. Very patient with younger animals or with more energy that require more attention and/or more technical care. I have a flexible schedule that allows the ability to stop in throughout the day. Available most weekends, early evenings and flexible throughout the day. With extensive experience with petsitting I’m very skilled in sensing the time needed and patience to build trust and a comfortable space and presence for one’s pets.

About: I’m a dedicated cat mom who understands how much our feline friends rely on trust and routine. Since adopting my cat last year, I’ve learned firsthand how much patience, observation, and care it takes to get to know a cat’s unique personality and habits. This experience has truly expanded my life and deepened my appreciation for their independence, curiosity, and warm companionship. I have open availability during the week for drop ins, house sitting and walks. And make sure to update my calendar every 2 days. About: I am mostly experienced with cats, but I have been around dogs for years in care or for fun, just never having direct ownership of a dog. Willing to try it out! I am more than happy to watch over a pet overnight or during the day, including pet care, watering and feedings. I am also capable of walks. In my own personal care, I have raised or adopted several cats including doctors appointments, cleaning, etc. Of other clients pets I have taken care of more or less the same, all satisfied in their pets care.

About: Growing up with a dog, a daily dog walk has been a part of my routine as long as I can remember. Since moving to Alaska 7 years ago, I got my best adventure buddy, Bird (a golden retriever) who has helped me explore Alaska from Sitka to Fairbanks to Anchorage. I have experience watching senior dogs that require medication, as well as active sled dogs that needed lots of exercise in the winter. My dog Bird has gotten used to every dog she's met once given time to adjust, and would love some dog friends in town. I also have a lot of experience housesitting, especially during Alaska winters when driveways need shoveled. I currently work a flexible fellowship that allows me to work from home Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. While I go to the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, my hours can be flexible to for pets that need more care. I am around during the weekends, usually I go for a hike so pets are welcome to join in the fun. Most my experience has revolved around going to clients home during pet sitting. I am open to taking dogs in my car to drive to hikes or parks around town.

About: Sharika has been a Rover and Wag walker for 5 years. She has been taking care of dogs and cats her whole life and has been trusted by countless friends and family to look after their pets. She has always found it to be an incredibly enriching experience to be trusted with the care of someone else's pet. She is so grateful for any opportunity to spend quality time with animals! Sharika has recently finished a fellowship with the National Park Service and has lots of free time during the day and night any day of the week to care for your pet. She is based in Anchorage and willing to stay overnight anywhere around town. Sharika is great at making dogs and cats feel safe and welcome. She can easily read what your animals need, so know that your fur baby will be safe and content with Sharika :)

About: I am a 41yo Born & Raised Florida Boy. Brought up on a farm with everything from chickens, cows, Horses, pigs, sheep to Chow chews, English Mastiffs & Pugs. I genuinely love all animals but Dogs in general steal my heart so fast. I currently do not work so I am available 24 x 7 at this time. Plenty of time to offer love & care to your fur babies. I am also available to stay or visit your place if you feel more secure that way. I'm looking for a few ongoing visits as to not only build a relationship with the fur babies but as to make the stays as stress free as possible for both human & pet. I have a 1 bed flat. Plenty of dog parks and places to go for a walk. I do not have a fenced in yard but the dog parks and outside is where we like to he as a family.

About: My name is Aubrie. I’ve had pets my entire life and for the past three years, I’ve started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. I’m not currently working, so my full time job would be caring for your pet! Daycare drop off and pickup hours are between 7 am and 7 pm. Any time after 7 pm would need to be booked as boarding and pickup for the following morning. I offer extended stays as well. I live in an apartment with the dog park on my same floor, so lots of running around and play time staying here with me and my pet! He is very social and loves to have company, friendly to other dogs and shares toys.
