“We had a great experience with Orlando. Our dog boarded with him for almost two weeks and came home healthy and happy. Orlando was communicative and conscientious. We recommend him for your pet sitting needs.”

“This was our first experience with a boarder, and we couldn't be happier! Our 14-year-old fur baby is rarely left alone apart from us - his retired parents, so tipping our toe in this water was good for all of us. Makena was a gem. We received pictures that warmed our hearts, and we were confident he was well loved and cared for during our trip away. We're so grateful. Makena will always be our go to in the future.”

“Alicia has been my dog’s weekly pet sitter, and I completely trust her with my dog! I recently left my dog with her overnight for a weekend trip, and she sent photos, kept me updated, and always responded quickly. My dog gets so excited when she realizes she’s going to Alicia’s house, which makes me feel even better knowing she’s happy and comfortable there!”

“We left our senior pup with Matt for almost a week and felt so at ease! He asked lots of questions to make sure he could keep her routine as normal as possible and our girl looked like she had a great time. It was nice having peace of mind while being away - would definitely use again!”

“Sirene was great to work - with very kind and communicative. My cat loved her immediately and felt right at home with her. I definitely recommend her to others and will be using her again myself ☺️.”

“Stephanie is an excellent dog sitter and can't thank her enough. Made me feel very confident and comfortable with leaving my dog Zelda with her for 2 nights. Stephanie stayed in contact with updates of how Zelda was doing along with lots of photos. Will definitely book her again if ever needed and highly recommend to others.”

“Dawn did a great job with our dog Bella. We got lots of pictures and videos and Bella looked great when we went to pick her up. We would definitely leave Bella with Dawn again.”

“Seeing my dog being free and happy with other dogs is AB-SO-LUTE-LY heart warming and a MAJOR load off my conscious while away. No regrets and absolutely thankfully appreciate Larissa's & Valerie's time and care.”

About: I’ve cared and watched dogs and cats for several years, including drop-in services, house sitting and boarding. I have also owned cats and dogs almost my entire life and love spending time around them. I work full time, but have summers and holidays off and free every weekend. During summers and weekends I can do several drop ins as well as sit for several days in a row. I have a large fenced back yard where dogs can run, I don’t currently have any pets of my own so the dog or cat will get 100% of the attention. If watching at your home, being respectful of the home, cleaning up after the pet and myself if any messes, leaving the home just as when I first entered.

About: I’ve helped take care of family and friends pets all the time since I was younger. Love animals and would be excited to help others with their fur friends and family! I work full time from 7:30-4:30 but can take an hour lunch anywhere between 11-1. I can use my lunch or any time after work or before work to take care of animals. I respect all house rules and take time to play and keep company with any fur babies. I have two kittens to keep any fur animals company. They’re so friendly and chatty!
“Adelita had great communication prior to dropping our 2 dogs off with her. She wanted to make sure she had all the right stuff for them. She even stayed calm when one of my dogs pooped on her floor as soon as he got in her place! (Usually doesn't happen but it was a long car ride and he chose sniffing when he was outside the car instead of pooping). Great rates and care for my two 80 lb dogs. I would definitely book Adelita again.”

“We were initially referred to Isabella by our dog trainer and it was an excellent experience. Our puppy is skittish and has past trauma, so we are always worried about her well being away from home. Isabella was really caring, proactive, and knowledgeable. Our dog bonded with her right away and came back home very happy to have spent time with Isabella and her doggies. Things went so smoothly that Isabella was even able to cut our dog's nails and check her anal glands.”

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
98% of sitters in Geneva Junction can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Geneva Junction home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Geneva Junction.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Geneva Junction sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
