About: Friends and neighbors alike have entrusted their beloved pets to my care since I was a little girl. From little to large, and brief check in to long stay... I have an array of experience caring for pets. I'm a stay at home mom to two young boys (who would likely tag along as needed). We enjoy our family time, but we don't often leave town. I work every other weekend as well. I am sure to love on your animals, giving them lots of pets and talk with them. I will make sure they receive the food and water they need, and get time outside as needed. I also am sure to get them safely back in their kennel when they are left on their own.

About: Grew up with several dogs and cats, I don’t know a world without these pets! I’m a current cat mom to 3 but love getting all the pets from our friends and families doggies! I work in office a day and a half a week so I have a relatively flexible schedule. We have a baby under 1 so we don’t have too many busy weekends away! I have great attention to detail and will follow your instructions for your fur baby(ies) to a T! I always want the best care for mine while I am away, so you can expect nothing less in the care I provide for yours!

About: I’ve had many different pets in my life- fish, cats, hamsters, geckos; and dogs of friends and family. I am a natural caregiver and treat every animal like it’s my own. I love being outside and going for walks but I’m happy to turn on a good show and get some snuggles in too. I can help with any cleaning, bathing, playing, and feeding. I’m happy to do it! My current schedule is fairly flexible, which allows me to provide consistent and reliable care for your pets throughout the week. I’m typically available mornings, evenings, and many mid-day hours depending on the day, making it easy for me to accommodate drop-ins, feedings, litter box care, and playtime visits. I’m not able to bring any pets to my home. I can for your animals at your house and stay there with them or take them for walks.

About: I’ve been around many dogs since I was little. Even viscous ones. But no type of dog scares me. Having a cane corso for about 4-5 years got me to be aware of any type of pets. Being around cats dosent worry me. Just as long as I pay attention to signs on what to and not to do. I work full time with kids and I love pet sitting for one of my friends. But usually after work I love to be around lovely pets. I will walk your dog personally. To be honest, letting a dog out in a yard doesn’t seem like they have much freedom. Taking them on an adventure is the way to do it so they have options. Treat them the way you would want to be treated is my motto.

About: Hi! My name is Amanda. I have worked in doggie daycare, worked as a bather and in the sales department! At work I got to experience different breeds, temperaments and personalities! My favorite part of my job is building strong relationships with the owners and their dogs! I also have experience dropping in homes while their owners are at work, school or out of town. When I do drop ins I have taken them on walks, picked up after them and fed them. I absolutely love working with all animals! I am known to have great communication skills, I am compassionate , and I am responsible. I pride myself in those traits and look forward to building a relationship with you and your family member! I do have a full time job working with adults with intellectual disabilities. Mon-Fri I do work from 730am-4pm. I am still available during the weekends and can also do house sitting during the days that I work! I will follow their daily routine and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. While walking them I will keep distance from other animals to ensure their safety. I will also follow all dietary needs and feeding schedules.

About: My boyfriend and I have always had animals in our lives. Growing up he lived on a farm with dogs, cats, goats, pigs etc. and I have had dogs and cats my whole life. We currently have 2 beautiful Great Danes, a bunch of rabbits, outside kitties, and 3 chinchillas! Our dogs love people, small animals, and would love a bigger dog to run around with. We would love to cuddle with your fur babies, go for walks, or just play in the fenced yard! With summer coming up we know that it’s going to be vacation time, you deserve to be able to enjoy and relax on vacation while knowing your animals are well taken care of. Me and my boyfriend work mornings and get lunch breaks half way through, so we’d be able to check on your animals even while working and we can be with them all afternoon. On Wednesdays and Thursdays we are both off so they’d get us all day! We have a 2 story house with lots of room for them to lay around and have their own space if needed. We also have a large backyard that is fenced off already for our dogs.

I just moved to the Galesburg area and am currently unemployed, so have wide availability to care for your pets! I currently do not offer house sitting/boarding in my own home, as my 3 pets aren't comfortable with new animals in their environment. Eventually, I hope to be able to set up a system where I can provide that service! I do have a playpen and door fences that I use for my own dog, so could potentially provide temporary boarding if the circumstance is right! When I come into a home for sitting, I am always acknowledging that I am not only in another person's space but the pet's space as well. I do everything I can to be respectful and aware of boundaries. Following routines to keep the pet comfortable is essential in building the bond!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. Starting at a young age, I was responsible for feeding, walking, and cleaning up after our family dogs. By the time I was 15, I began caring for a neighbor’s dog whenever they were out of town, building early experience in pet sitting and responsibility. Today, I’m 24 with dogs of my own, including one with medical needs, so I’m familiar with administering medication and maintaining a consistent care routine. In the summer of 2024, I even raised a litter of puppies, which deepened my understanding of early puppy development and the importance of socialization. From bathing and grooming to staying active with my pack, caring for dogs is a daily part of my life and something I’m deeply passionate about. Although I work full time during the week, my evenings are dedicated to spending quality time with my dogs. We enjoy walking, playing, and relaxing together. I’m also off on weekends, which gives me the perfect opportunity to help others who may be busy or working by making sure their dogs get the exercise and attention they need. I’m happy to offer weekend availability and evening flexibility to support both pets and their owners. I live on a spacious 2 acre property with a securely fenced in section of the yard dedicated to the dogs. The backyard is enclosed with three gates, each equipped with locks to ensure safety and prevent any clever pups from nudging them open. This setup provides a safe, open space for dogs to play, explore, and relax while giving owners peace of mind.

About: From nose ears to little pads I know what's going on with my little guys being very big on doing things myself so that way I catch when things are not right with them. About: I recently lost my soul dog, Wilson. He was a 14 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is in the picture with me. I have a second Cavalier named Auggie. I worked with Wilson to become a certified therapy dog. He retired when he was 10. When he was around 9 he became deaf. Therefore, I have years of experience with a deaf dog. I have experience with dogs from puppy through old age. My grown children also have dogs. I have included some of those dogs in the pictures. We have a bulldog, a golden retriever, a boxer, a lab, and several mixed breed rescues in our family! I have decided to offer my services on Rover to help fill a void after losing my beloved Wilson. I look forward to loving your dog as my own! I work full-time but am home on weekends and have extended breaks in my work when I am home. My home is set up for animals but I am also willing to provide services in your home. For care in my home, I have a large yard in a park-like setting. My house is set up for pets with limited carpet, doggie steps to lay on a comfy couch, windows to watch squirrels and keep an eye on the mailman. I am also available to love your pets in your home.
