About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs since an early age. I’ve cared for my own pets and those of friends and family. I work from home Monday through Friday, so I’m able to be with your fur babies all day. Weekends are for fun and time outside walking and socializing. I live in an apartment with a fair amount of green space and a paved pond area for daily walks. I’m also conveniently located next to a dog park as well! I have two sweet kitties to keep your babies company throughout the day too.

About: I have worked with pups and kittys since I was little, I have done puppy training all the way to taking care of senior pets. I have had much practice over the years with all of my own furry family members and now to having a few solid clients I service on a regular basis before even joining Rover. So I love taking care of folks furry family members including my own Doberman and my sisters cat while she's gone away at college. However I work for the government Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 a.m.-7p.m. so I can be there during the mornings and I can take care of them as soon as I get off work in the evenings for feedings, potty breaks, walks, etc. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not be able to do midday potty breaks so if you're someone who works from home and let's them out frequently it probably will not work out. But if they're used to being in during the day already from work schedules then it should be a perfect fit! I take care of my Doberman pup through trainings with positive reinforcement via toys and treats. I feed him every morning and evening, taking him on walks out in the woods and letting him run wild in our big back yard.

Over the years, I’ve learned how to meet each cat’s unique personality and needs with patience and understanding. About: Hi, my name is Heather I have been involved in caring for animals for many years whether it was my own pets or the grooming and boarding facility I worked for in my 20s. I am 50 years old. I am from the Quad city area originally but lived in Houston for 30 years, I recently moved back about seven years ago. I have a nice little house in Bettendorf with a great yard including a vinyl privacy fence. I will give your pet a loving fun, playful experience, and I’m very happy to send you video and pictures so you can see how your pet does while they’re with me . I usually let them out in the morning and feed the dogs I watch separately so there’s no fighting , same thing at about 4 pm in between they get pets , sleep, and run around in my yard ( weather permitting ) I am home every day of the week. I am gone for a few hours on Wednesday and Friday. Always attentive to pets in my care they will not be left outside for long periods of time , I often go and sit on my patio while the dogs are out , I also have a doggy door that fits up to large dogs .

I just moved to the Galesburg area and am currently unemployed, so have wide availability to care for your pets! If I am house sitting, I can typically spend overnight and the majority of the day there! *Note: I am currently on hiatus from house sitting services! I currently do not offer house sitting/boarding in my own home, as my 3 pets aren't comfortable with new animals in their environment. Eventually, I hope to be able to set up a system where I can provide that service! I do have a playpen and door fences that I use for my own dog, so could potentially provide temporary boarding if the circumstance is right! When I come into a home for sitting, I am always acknowledging that I am not only in another person's space but the pet's space as well. I do everything I can to be respectful and aware of boundaries. Following routines to keep the pet comfortable is essential in building the bond!

“I can't say enough about Heather. Due to a scheduling conflict, she came and picked up our dog from our house. Our dog is very anxious and Heather spent a large amount of time with her, in our home. Heather did everything she could to make our dog feel comfortable. Heather couldn't get her out the first time over. She came to our house 4 times before she could get our dog out. Heather sent updates about how our dog was doing. Heather is patient and genuinely kind. We will use Heather again!”

About: My household has had dogs for the past 12 years. I have watched dogs for other families while they are away several times over the past 10 years. I work very well with energetic and stubborn breeds. Frequents walks. Almost always home. I am a stay at home mom of older children. I am almost always home, and will ensure a fun and yet peaceful environment. Thank you for your consideration. I do have a fenced in yard that is smaller, and live very close to a dog park if desired. I can seperate our dog on a lower level if there is ever any issues, or space is need.
