About: I have taken care of dogs, and pet/house sitting for friends, family, and other people throughout the last 6.5 years. My family had two dogs while growing up who I adored and loved taking care of. I also worked at a dog daycare for a bit during my freshman and sophomore years of college. I have always enjoyed being around dogs and spending time caring for them. They deserve all the love and attention they can get! I am detail-oriented and pay attention to the little things that matter. I do have a part-time job so I am available Mondays and Wednesdays after 11:00 am as well as Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays after 4:30 pm and anytime on the weekends. I have always loved working with and spending time with dogs. Being mindful of their body language, the environment they are in, and many other factors is important in making sure they are well cared for and comfortable. Dogs - just like humans, love their routine and I intend to stick to it. I love taking pictures and providing several updates while taking care of pets. I believe it is important to keep owners informed and up to date on how/what their dog is doing. Especially because I know that when I miss my dog it's always nice to know that they are okay.

About: Growing up in the country, I've always been surrounded by animals - taking on the role of rescuer, caregiver, ear-scratcher, and fur-mama. Currently away from home and from my animals, that source of joy is no longer a part of my daily routine. This has left a void that I'm hoping to fill by helping you care for your fur-babies! Communication is VERY important to me - I totally understand the need to receive regular updates and pictures and I will gladly fulfill it :) I currently work remotely and volunteer part-time. This gives me the flexibility I need to add a little something to some of my non-working/volunteering mornings and afternoons. My current home doesn't allow pets- however, at my previous home, our 2 dogs and 3 of 7 cats were indoor/outdoor. The dogs have a strict feeding schedule with personalized portions and additions to their food. I also give the dogs oral flea meds once a month, and have andministered oral anti-inflammatory meds in the past. The cats have wet food in the morning in the garage, with feeders of dry food to graze throughout the day. While they're relatively independent- I have to give them a lil love whenever me meet.

“This is the second time that Blue helped our dogs. The first time, she found an early hot spot on one of our dogs which we treated quickly. This time Blue arrived to find our front door wide open (left so by someone else) and she managed to gather, then comfort our scared doggies. Of course she notified us right away. So we are getting a new lock and bolt installed so this cannot happen again. So grateful for Blue!!!”

About: Our dogs are our family, so I would treat them as such - keeping in mind their needs and wants and making sure that all of them are met.I stay in close contact with my clients and send lots of pics so you won’t miss your puppy love, and am always available to communicate. I grew up with dogs from the time I was 13 years-old, and have taken care of friends' and family's dogs while they were on vacation or simply away at work. I've walked dogs for neighbors who are not able to meet their dogs' exercise needs as well as house-sat for families with many other pets including cats, fish, and small pets such as hamsters and guinea pigs. I have bottle-fed puppies and administered medicine to older dogs with special needs. I have also trained puppies and dogs up to 2 years of age. I currently have two rambunctious Australian Shepherds, and I have had fish and hamsters in the past. I have also house-sat for people with cats and other small pets and would be more than willing to care for those pets as well. My policy when meeting new dogs is to approach the human first, and ask how the dog likes to be approached. Otherwise, I introduce myself by letting the dog smell me and get to know me a little more before trying to pet them. I have found this to be a good way to approach more nervous dogs who are shy around new people. For more outgoing dogs, I like to greet them with as much energy as they greet me. I currently work from home and have a very flexible working schedule, which means I can give your pets lots of attention and love! I also live very close to a park with beautiful trails for your dog and I to take lots of long walks if you choose to board your dog with me! I have a fenced yard and two miniature Australian Shepherds to keep your dog company. They love to play with other dogs and especially puppies!

About: Experienced dog sitter and dog walker who has looked after seven different dogs over the last 10 years for two different friends/households. These two different friends have both had me stay in their house while they are out of town, and these overnight stays have ranged from a single night to over a week. This past experience includes dog sitting and walking three dogs at once. I'm excited to bring my pet care experience to Rover in hopes that I can expand my network of furry friends. What sets me apart? I won't be staring at my phone or otherwise distracted while caring for your pet(s). I like to take daily walks by myself around my neighborhood, and when I see someone walking a dog that person is almost always looking at their phone/talking on their phone. That won't be the case with me. I love dogs, and I'm fascinated with how they interact with their surroundings during a walk or potty break. So, it's easy for me to stay focused on them. Another thing that sets me apart is that I love to talk to dogs and cats. I'm not mentally imbalanced - instead, it's just a fun way for me to strengthen the connection with my furry friends. I'm currently unemployed, with plenty of free time. I'd love to spend as much time as possible caring for pets. After spending 18+ years in the sportswear industry holding various roles in marketing and merchandising, I've decided to embrace my love of pets and try and make pet care a full-time job. During my dog sitting time for my two friends, I've always exhibited maximum trust and responsibility. I always try and mirror an environment the pets are accustomed to having. This includes feeding habits, bedtime preferences, what toys/games they like to play, etc. Even though I stay in their homes to look after their pets, I always leave the house as clean (if not cleaner) then when I arrived. I've also done other tasks for them, like watering plants, taking garbage/recycling bins to the street, etc. I'm comfortable managing the unexpected. While dog sitting, I've dealt with dog diarrhea, dog vomiting, a lengthy power outage, and a car alarm going off.

About: Hi, my name is Natasha and I look forward to caring for your beloved pet! I grew up with cats and love every dog I meet. While I don't own a dog, my friends' dogs love me and I regularly walk my neighbor's dog. He get so excited when he sees me heading up the driveway! I enjoy long walks with dogs, and playing with and snuggling dogs and cats alike. I am home most days and would love to have your furry friend with me! We will get outside time in (according to your preference) as well as snuggle and play time. I have access to a large fenced area to exercise dogs and a clean, welcoming home for all manner of pets. I love to take dogs for long walks and can ensure they return to you with wagging tails and wanting to come back to see me again.

About: I have been taking care of pets ever since I was a little kid. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds and most of them seem to love me. I am experienced in walking and physically active so I can give your pups the walk they need. I recently rescued a chi-terrior whom I love and adore. This little one gets several walks a day and is on his way to getting into better shape and health, which I hope I can provide to your pets as well. I am a full-time Ph.D. student, so my schedule changes quite a bit. During winter and summer breaks I have a free schedule to do pet care and teach yoga classes. When class is in session I tend to have less time for pet sitting services. I am a very responsible person. Many friends and family members trust me with taking care of their homes, pets, and kids. I really love helping people and truly honor the trust it takes to let a stranger take care of your pets and to let them inside of your home.

About: I really love dogs, i have two of my own. I am compassionate about dogs and i believe they deserve the same treatment as human beings. They deserve to be loved, taken care of, respected, and treated equally. Dogs have needs and wants and those needs and wants should be fulfilled. Dogs need to have their needs met, and they need us as humans to have a voice for them. I believe dogs are amazing creatures that can offer humans love and they can fulfill a need that is unconditional. Dogs make me feel good. Dogs fulfill a love that no one else can.
