9. Shannon S.
About: I have worked with animals at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, where we house dogs, cats, and even birds, bunnies, or hamsters. I worked there for two years, and I have grown up with & been around both dogs and cats my whole life. I am currently a full time college student but I have a lot of time after classes in the afternoon and evening, as well as free time on the weekends, to accommodate. I can provide treats, toys, and love to a client’s fur baby. I’m able to take dogs on walks and potty breaks, feed and administer medicine to both dogs and cats, crate a dog if needed, or snuggle up with a client’s fur baby.
10. Richard E.
“Richard E. makes a great pet care giver because he loves animals of all kinds. He has dog and turtle sat for me many times and they just love him. I have two dogs, one with diabetes, and he has handled all of their needs. He walked them, bathed them and given medicine when it was needed. I recommend him for pet care services. He’s a very caring guy and pays attention to detail. If my dogs could talk they would say the same!”

I have a pit/boxer mix and over the coarse of the last year and a half she has helped me train him to do basic commands like sit, stay, fetch etc. Chase is with her while I’m at work and he could never be more happy to go to doggy daycare! Bane and Ivy are his best buds and Echo is a bonus!! I highly recommend Paige to watch anyone’s fur family member because she will treat them like her own.”

15. Alex E.
About: I have had extensive pet care experience over the years. I have cared for both dogs and cats, as well as smaller animals like rabbits and hamsters. I have experience with both indoor and outdoor pets, and I am comfortable with administering medication if needed. In my previous job, I was responsible for feeding, walking, and playing with the pets under my care. I also kept an eye on their health and reported any concerns to their owners. I am passionate about providing the best possible care for animals and I enjoy spending time with them. Well, pet care is an essential part of our daily and weekly routines, especially for pet owners like me. When it comes to taking care of our pets, we need to ensure that they are healthy, happy, and safe. This means providing them with proper nutrition, exercise, grooming, and veterinary care. As a pet owner, my daily pet care routine involves feeding my pet, giving them fresh water, and taking them for a walk or providing them with playtime. Additionally, I take some time to clean up after my pet, such as cleaning their litter box or picking up after them outside. Weekly pet care routines can involve much more, like giving my pet a bath, cleaning their bedding or cage, and checking for any potential health issues or concerns. I also make it a point to play with my pet and teach them new tricks during the week to keep them mentally stimulated and happy. Overall, pet care is a responsibility that pet owners like myself need to take seriously. By incorporating daily and weekly routines, we can ensure that our pets continue to thrive and live healthy, happy lives. Well, I think my approach to caring for my pets at home is pretty comprehensive. Firstly, I make sure to provide them with a clean environment, which means their area and kennel is cleaned as well as, beddings are changed regularly. I also make sure they have access to plenty of fresh water and nutritious food. In terms of exercise and playtime, I schedule a set amount of time each day for interactive play and exercise, in addition to walks outdoors. This keeps them happy, healthy and stimulated both physically and mentally. I also prioritize their medical needs by ensuring they receive regular checkups and vaccinations as needed. This proactive approach helps to prevent health problems down the line. Overall, I believe that providing a safe and nurturing environment, plenty of exercise and playtime, and proactive medical care are all key to caring for pets in a responsible and effective way.

“Mikayla is an absolute animal lover! She's currently in college working toward becoming Vet Tech and she also works at a vet clinic part time. She loves getting to know all kinds of pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, and even snakes! She's open to learning about and caring for other types of pets as well. I strongly recommend her as a loving, responsible pet care giver!”
17. Hilary D.
About: I have raised 2 puppies and several cats and I'm the mom of a frenchie. We love going for walks and being outside. My dog plays well with others and would welcome a new friend for the day. I'm just working part time right now so I would have plenty of time for a drop-in visit and a walk. I'm available Mon 10am-12:30pm Tues 8am-12:30pm Wed 8am-2pm Thurs 8am-12:30pm Fri 8am-2pm. Mon-fri I would still be available for drop-in or walks after 5pm but I would have my kids with me. Please reach out even if your requested time doesn't match my availability. I still may be able to accommodate you. I do not have a fenced yard which is why I'm not offering for pets to stay in my home. My dog is trained to stay nearby so we haven't needed to get a fence yet. I am able to accommodate walking dogs of all sizes and all activity levels. I can work with dogs who pull or who are easily distracted. I'm a mother to 4 children and a dog so I definitely have patience! I'm currently working part-time so I have open afternoons, evenings and weekends. I work 7am-1pm Mon-Fri, but I can be flexible with my start and end times. I will care for your pet like they are my own and make sure to follow all routines and instructions. I make sure your pet has everything they need and I double and triple check gates and doors before I leave.
18. Sophia M.
About: I’ve previously trained bird dogs under the professional dog training business H& H Gun Dogs. I have a Viszla, Great Dane, Bulldog, and painted turtle. I love all pets and have had them all my life. Very good at working with them. I work PRN as a caretaker so I do not work every day I either have mornings or evenings off if I am not away traveling. I am starting with dog walking as I do not feel comfortable being in a strangers home, if I get to know and trust you I can also let them out or move to dog watching occasionally.
19. Alexandria R.
“Xander has been pet sitting for me for the last 4 years while I was in college and frequently visiting home. I have 2 bunnies, a lizard, and my roomate has a 10 year old cat who is FIV positive and needs a lot of extra attention, so having someone who is so caring and knowledgeable about all kinds of pets has been awesome! I can’t recommend him enough! He always leaves the house in great shape and our pets really love and trust him!”
20. Sierra C.
“Sierra loves animals! As a veterinarian working with Sierra, I’ve gotten to see her love for all creatures on a daily basis. Her training as a vet tech qualifies her to care for animals with medical needs as well. I would 100% trust her to care for my pets!”
