I provide fresh water, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, exercise, and plenty of attention based on each pet’s individual needs and personality. I understand how important peace of mind is when you’re away, so I’m happy to provide updates and photos throughout my visits. The most helpful information includes temperament, energy level, and how they typically behave on walks or during visits. It’s especially important for me to know about any history of aggression, reactivity (toward people, dogs, or other animals), or triggers such as food, toys, or being handled in certain areas. This helps me make sure your pet stays safe and comfortable, and that I can provide the best care possible. I also appreciate knowing about anxiety, escape tendencies (like door darting or fence jumping), and any medical or behavioral quirks that might affect their care. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can adjust to their needs and keep their routine consistent. My goal is always to create a calm, low-stress environment where your pet feels secure and understood.
A typical day
A typical day with me starts with a calm morning check-in and a potty break or walk depending on the pet’s routine. I make sure each pet is comfortable, fed on schedule, and getting the attention they’re used to at home. For dogs, this usually includes morning walks where we explore the neighborhood at their pace—whether that’s a relaxed sniff-heavy stroll or a more active walk. Throughout the day, I like to keep pets engaged with a mix of playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection. This can include fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, or simple mental stimulation games like treat searches or basic training practice if the owner is comfortable with it. For more relaxed pets, I focus on companionship, belly rubs, and quiet time so they feel safe and settled. I also do regular potty breaks, refresh water bowls, and make sure everyone is eating properly. I’m happy to send photo updates so you can see how their day is going. In the evening, I wind things down with another walk or potty break, followed by calm time so they can relax and feel comfortable before bedtime.

I currently work at a boarding and grooming facility, which gives me daily hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m experienced with feeding routines, handling energetic and shy pets, recognizing dog behavior, and maintaining a safe environment. I’m also familiar with giving baths and nail trims. Meleah was amazing! I reached out only a few days before our family went out of town and she was happy to help! Came and met the animals before hand, spent plenty of time playing and snuggling with our animals, and kept us updated every day! Oh and sent super cute pictures of our pets! Highly recommend! Testimony for Maleah I am honored to write this testimony for my daughter, Maleah. Ever since she was a little girl, she has had a deep love and compassion for animals of all kinds. Her caring nature toward animals has always been something that stood out about her. Growing up, Maleah was constantly bringing home stray animals that she wanted to help and protect. If she found a baby bird that had fallen from its nest, she would do everything she could to make sure it was safe. If she came across an injured butterfly, moth, or other winged insect, she would gently try to care for it and help it recover. Her heart has always been drawn to animals that needed love, care, and protection. One memory that stands out is when Maleah found an injured squirrel and desperately wanted to help it. Although we were not able to take the squirrel in ourselves, she was determined to make sure it received care. Thankfully, a friend was able to assist and help the animal, which brought Maleah great relief. That experience perfectly reflects who she is—a person who genuinely cares about the well-being of animals and will go out of her way to help them. Maleah has always had a kind, nurturing, and responsible spirit, and that has never changed. She continues to have the same love and respect for animals today that she had as a child. I can say with complete confidence that she would care for anyone's beloved pets as if they were her own. She is dependable, trustworthy, attentive, and incredibly responsible.
