“Leann was great. There was a learning curve with my dogs but once that was figured out everything went great and they became good pals. I’ll definitely request Leann when my I next need dog sitting.”

“Zania was absolutely fantastic with our pit bull & cats. Our pittie is calm & lovey inside, but when he gets outside, he’s a crazy man. Zania handled him with great ease and is very knowledgeable with dogs and training. We had 1 night away and we were updated about walks, feedings, pictures, and given a bedtime pup-date ( update at the end of the day) We could not have asked for more. We are thrilled to welcome her to our house for more pet sitting.”

“This is the first time in 30 years I've had to use a pet sitter that wasn't a neighbor or a friend, so this was a pretty big deal to me and I was nervous about it. Willow is now my favorite person I've ever used to watch my animals (1 dog, 2 cats). She's trustworthy, personable, great with animals and just a nice person to be around. She did housesitting for me and stayed the night and I had no concerns about her being here, and then we added a drop-in visit to get the last feeding/potty break done before we got home. Even though we did a meet and greet, my dog was a little unsure when Willow got there. We worked through it via text (popcorn solves everything!) and within 2 hours she had all animals trying to sit with her on the sofa. I have a cat who needs to be fed 4X a day and needs medication and she had no problem with that. I have never felt so comfortable with someone taking care of my animals and being in my house. She cleaned up after herself (and by the way, thanks for bringing the trash can up!), was on time for everything and communicative whenever it was needed. Just an overall great experience and Willow is a wonderful person. I will use her over and over now when I need someone to watch my animals.”

“Austin is a very accommodating , easy going person. I was very comfortable having him in my home, taking great care of the pups. He gave me updates, sent pics, asked questions about their habits. The pups and my home were very well taken care of. I would highly recommend him as a pet sitter.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the personalized care and attention I give to every pet. I treat them like family—whether it’s a playful puppy full of energy or a senior pet needing a gentler pace and extra patience. I have experience with basic puppy training, including leash manners and crate comfort, and I’m confident caring for senior pets who may need medication, slower walks, or just some extra cuddles and calm companionship. I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs and routine to help them feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I also make it a priority to keep you in the loop with regular updates and adorable, personalized photos of your pet—so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands and still feel connected while you’re apart. I work full-time during the day so I’m best suited for morning/evening and weekend walking. I can work from home to pet sit, however, if needed! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, trust and safety are always my top priorities. I take the responsibility of looking after someone’s beloved pet very seriously, and I always aim to create a calm, secure environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. In a client’s home, I follow their routine closely—mealtimes, walks, play, and even little habits—so their pet feels as relaxed and “at home” as possible. I’m respectful of your space, and I treat your home with the same care I give your pet. If a pet is staying in my home, I make sure the space is pet-safe, clean, and free from hazards. I gradually introduce them to the new environment to avoid overwhelm and make sure they have a cozy spot all their own. No matter the location, I stay attentive, never leave pets unattended for long periods, and always keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is happy and in good hands.

“Melissa was very responsive to our initial request and gave our older dog, Sadie, excellent care! Would highly recommend. We will ask for her specifically the next time we need in-home pet care!”

About: Hi my name is Katrina, or Kat for short. I truly have a passion and heart for animals! As a teen i started pet sitting and knew I wanted to always work with animals so as an adult I went to school for dog grooming. I was a pet sylist for 15 year with my own shop but had to retire due to injuries and health. I have a lot of experience, patience and care with many types of dogs and animals. I did schooling for dog psychology and training methods and continue to further my education. I also have two dogs, a westie and a pittie rescue mix, three cats and several reptiles so i'm always surrounded by animals which I love! I do also have experience with rescue work, raising bottle fed kittens. ♡ I have studied dog behavior and believe in using positive reinforcements and redirecting. I am able to do short training sessions focused on mental stimulation. If you have topples or puzzle toys i can provide your pup with that as well. ♡ I am cpr trained and am able to give medication. ♡ I will meet your dogs needs wether it be mental stimulation with fun games, a short walk or just hanging out together. ♡ I will provide photos as well updates if requested ♡ I will refresh water bowls, do feedings, take out for potty time or scoop litter. ♡ I will respect your home, time and privacy and provide your pet(s) with the utmost care and attention. I am pretty flexible, i'm avaialble during weekdays as well as every other sunday. I will keep my times available updated on the calender here at rover. I am able to feed your animals, take them out to potty, short walks as well as spend time giving them attention and play with them.

About: I am a loving dog-mom that has lived with pets my entire life. I have a genuine love for animals of all ages and needs. I have two bulldog-lab mixes that I adore (6 year, 1 year). I don’t just “watch” pets—I like to learn their routines, personalities, and preferences so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Here are a few things that make me unique: *I’m patient, consistent, and reliable. *I’m experienced in caring for older pets who may need medication or extra comfort. I’m attentive to signs of discomfort and always prioritize their well-being. *I’m skilled at reading animal body language and adjusting my approach; whether they’re shy, energetic, or somewhere in between. *I maintain feeding, walking, and play schedules to reduce stress and keep pets feeling secure. *I provide regular updates, photos, and notes so you always know your pet is in the best care. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a gentle senior, I treat every pet like family. I’d love the opportunity to care for yours! I work full-time Monday through Friday, so weekends are ideal for pet sitting, walking, and feeding—they give me the time and energy to fully focus on your pet’s needs. However, weeknights are flexible for me with advance notice. That said, I’m also available on weeknight evenings and can be flexible with scheduling for walks, drop-ins, or feeding visits after work. I make it a priority to ensure pets feel cared for and comfortable, even with a busy schedule. Whether it’s a weekend stay or a weekday evening check-in, I’m committed to providing consistent, loving care that fits your pet’s routine. I prioritize comfort, safety, and consistency, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting theirs. In my home, I am the dog-mom of two wonderful bulldog-lab mixes. They are 6 and 1 year, and require a lot of my attention. I create a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to play, rest, and feel secure. I follow my dogs' usual routine as closely as possible—feeding times, walks, play, and quiet time—to minimize stress. I also make sure they have access to fresh water, cozy resting spots, and lots of affection. If a pet has special needs or preferences, I’m happy to accommodate them. In your home, I treat your home with respect and your pet like family. I stick to their established routine, including feeding, walking, playtime, and any medications or special care. I’m attentive to their behavior and comfort, and I always make sure they feel safe and loved in their familiar surroundings. I also provide regular updates, so you know how things are going while you’re away. I dog sit numerous times for my colleague's senior dog while their family is on vacation and am very reliable. Whether it’s in my space or yours, I aim to make every pet feel at ease and cared for like they’re my own.

“I wanted to share my positive experience with Caylin. She took excellent care of our cats while we were on vacation. We really appreciated her attentiveness and the fact that she sent multiple pictures each day, which truly gave us peace of mind while we were away. We also encountered a travel delay, and she was very flexible and accommodating, which was incredibly helpful. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Hannah was super sweet and patient with our slow to warm up pup. It was our first time leaving him with a sitter, but we felt very comfortable throughout our trip, as Hannah was very communicative and conscientious. Would 100% recommend Hannah, and we (and our dog!) would be more than happy to have her sit again!”

“Another great sitter experience with Alex! Especially the first night, our ceiling had started to leak and she was very proactive on letting us know, accommodating when we had someone come look at it etc. She sent us plenty of pictures and videos of Hank which we loved! She left the house clean and Hank very happy! Couldn’t recommend her enough!”

“Marlena was fantastic! She met w Nova and he instantly loved her. She kept me updated w pics along the way. He was happy and calm- and as a 13yo cranky senior- that’s a big ask! She definitely was an excellent fit and I am so happy to have found and worked with her!”

“Tyler has been amazing with my pup, who is pretty anxious, especially with new people. He took the time to let Biggie warm up to him, and sent me pics and videos so I could see that Big was okay and happy while I was away. I’ll def be asking Tyler to watch Biggie again, whenever I need to go away!”

About: I’ve have been watching friends dogs (2 or 3 at a time) for the last 4 years. I also helped care and walk my sisters dogs when we lived together for 4 years. I am always flexible with the schedule the dog is use to, but I am use to walking dogs in the morning and in the evening. I have a crate if needed. I have a small fenced in yard. No pets currently live in the home. I will care for your pets as you do.

“Susan & Corey were absolutely wonderful with my anxious & sweet Chihuahua. They stayed at our home and were extremely kind and wonderful with my dog! They gave him so much attention, belly rubs, and snuggles. Susan was also very kind at arriving very early on the first day so we could set out for our trip on time. The communication was also great with Susan and she made us feel very comfortable by sending pictures of my dog eating, snuggling with them on the sofa, and being happy. Susan also took great care of our home, brought in our mail and packages for us, and left our home nice & clean. She also left us a report card on their stay which we thought was a nice touch. Would highly recommend Susan!!! She is kind, professional, and clearly has been working with animals for a long time.”

About: Have had dogs my entire life. Currently the father of a wonderful Golden Retriever(Lola) and rambunctious orange cat(Gus). I am used to being pulled on walks and giving lots of rubs. Comfortable doing short or long walks, trails or paved roads. I’ve lived in Lancaster almost my entire life, so I know a lot of trails and paths across the county My schedule is pretty open right now for the foreseeable future. Just need 24 hour notice to accommodate for my family. I normally wake up early to take my dog for a walk and again in the evening once the pavement has cooled off I live in Lancaster city, I have a back yard that is fenced on the sides but open in the back. Due to that, I am pretty familiar with all the local parks and hiking trails. Animal lover and pacifist.

“Whitney was an excellent house and kitty sitter. We were gone for over three weeks (and Whitney watched our home and cats for two weeks of that time). She gave daily updates with pictures, quickly responded to messages, showed up on time, and was very professional. Our home and our kitties were in great shape when we returned. We would book Whitney again in a heartbeat.”
