About: I have grown up around animals and have always adored how wonderful companions they are. I grew up taking care of family members dogs when they went on vacations, which gave me early experience with feeding, walking, and general care. I also have some experience with cats from having one when I was younger and helping care for a few friends and family members cats over the years. I am comfortable helping with basic cat care such as feeding, litter box cleaning, and spending time with them. I have my own dog, Hadley, an 8 year old golden retriever. She is very spunky, sometimes a troublemaker, but very sweet. She loves walks and I have walked her for years and really enjoy doing so. Within the past year, I started working at a shelter where I take care of dogs, including some with aggression and fear issues due to neglect and other reasons. About: I’ve known animals for as long as I’ve known to breathe. From the time I could walk, I was playing and interacting with my family pets. From loving on our family black labs and cats growing up, volunteering at my hometowns local shelter, to tending to family and friends’ cats and dogs, animals have always been a passion of mine! About: I have helped friends and family care for their pets when they are gone. I even helped a neighbor friend when I was in middle school take care of his dogs when his family was out of town. I enjoy spending time with animals especially dogs. I get summers off from my full time job. I will have a part time job which is scheduled on my terms. We couldn’t have been happier with Kierstin! She took amazing care of Luna our a Chesepeak Bay Retriever while we were away for our son’s wedding. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
