I am comfortable with different temperaments, routines, and making sure each pet feels safe and cared for. I’m most comfortable with small to medium dogs and well-behaved larger dogs. Pet care fits well into my routine since I work from home with a flexible schedule. I have consistent availability during the day between school drop off and pick up, and I enjoy filling that time with pet visits and walks. I mainly focus on drop-in visits and walks, following each pet’s routine with feeding, walks, and plenty of attention. I make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you are away. Care in my home is something I consider on a limited, case-by-case basis.

About: I've grown up with vastly different dogs; my first was a grumpy senior cocker spaniel and my last was the sweetest, smartest Australian Shepard/blue heeler. I've also taken care of friends' and family's pets like my aunt's deaf pitbull and my cousin's St. Bernard. Needless to say, I have a wide range of pet experience. I'm currently an online graduate student, which means I have flexibility to work around yours and your pet's schedule. I'm available most days with available times from early morning to late evening. It's important for a pet to feel safe in their home. It's important to follow a pet's boundaries, I try to cater to their needs and their routine.

About: I’ve known animals for as long as I’ve known to breathe. From the time I could walk, I was playing and interacting with my family pets. From loving on our family black labs and cats growing up, volunteering at my hometowns local shelter, to tending to family and friends’ cats and dogs, animals have always been a passion of mine! I am available before 7:15 am, and after 3:30 pm. My work does not provide flexible scheduling so I do not have an extended lunch hour. I would only be able to check in on your fur baby twice a day. Weekends I am free all day, and could check in 3 times if needed I will care for animals in your home by being gentle, patient, engaging, nurturing , and playful. I will make sure they get lots of play and stimulation, love, and treats. 😋

About: Hi, I’m Lydia! I’ve been on Rover for a year and a half, but I have over 7 years of hands-on pet care experience. I started dog sitting for friends and family when I was 16 and have also volunteered at multiple animal shelters and worked at both Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle and Red River Zoo in Fargo, ND. I currently work at Petco as an Animal Care Specialist, where I care for all kinds of animals and dogs. I have experience with everything from young puppies to senior dogs, and I especially enjoy training and working with dogs who have behavioral challenges. I also have a dog of my own who I raised and trained from a puppy. I truly love working with animals and treat every pet I care for like they’re my own! I currently work part-time at Petco, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet sitting. I work closing shifts Wednesday through Friday from 4:00–9:15 PM, so I’m unavailable during those hours, but I’m generally free the rest of the week and can be very flexible with drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting. I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that works best for both you and your pets! For dog walks and drop-ins, I always want both you and your pet to feel comfortable and taken care of while you’re away. I make sure to all the instruction provided and stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as I can. If that means taking them on their usual walk, giving them some playtime during a drop-in, or just hanging out with them for a bit, I'm happy to do it! About: From 8 weeks old to senior pups, I’ve seen it all! Whether it’s basic canine knowledge, walking, bathing, medication administration, or pet snuggles, I’ve got you covered! I work full time M,W,Th,F (every Tuesday off) from 8:00am-5:00pm. With 2 dogs of my own (cavalier/shih tzu/bichon (17lb) and golden retriever (60+ pounds), we have a timely feeding and walking routine. Your pup will fit right in! With a two story house, patio, and open yard with a walking path nearby, the opportunities are endless for your pups needs to be met! Your pet can snuggle up on the furniture and/or bed or be crated if that is your preference.

About: Hello! I have always had a love for animals especially dogs and cats. I had my own dog, Charlie, who had complex health issues and unfortunately is no longer with me. He made me comfortable with giving medications, insulin/allergy shots, and following instructions with dietary restrictions that I can also provide your pets with when needed. I currently work full time M-F, but my schedule is flexible during the week and most weekends. I have also been employed for over a year with a company in the F/M area providing pet care services in people's homes. I LOVE what I do and always looking for more opportunities to meet new furry friends. My schedule is flexible and I respond quickly to text/phone calls or email when reaching out looking for pet care. I'm able to do morning shifts before I head to my full time job M-F, lunch breaks, and after work. I can often move my schedule around if you need other times throughout the day too. Just ask! Weekends are more open when I am not out of town. I prefer going to the pets home to provide care where they are in a familiar environment. I can provide walks, bring your pet outside to play, clean litter boxes, feed and fill their water, administer medication etc. Boarding in my home can also be provided, as I have a pet and smoke free home and can work with your pets needs to make them feel safe and at home.
