About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes since I was 10 years old. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me for daily walks, feeding, bathing, and providing plenty of love and playtime. I’m comfortable with senior dogs and puppies, and I treat every pup as if they were my own I work full-time with an inconsistent schedule, which actually gives me flexibility to help pet parents who work during the day or have varying schedules. I can often provide care before or after work and on many weekdays when others might be busy. This allows me to give your pets plenty of attention and care when you need it most. I have two cats of my own and a pet-friendly home where safety and comfort come first. Whether caring for pets in your home or mine, I follow routines closely, provide lots of love and playtime, and can handle special care needs to keep your furry friends happy and healthy.

About: I have been looking after pets and taking care of them since I was 17 years old. My experience ranges from grumpy, old Chihuahuas to high-strung German Shepherds. I also have experience with giving medication to pets, if the need were to arise or if your pet takes medication daily. Do to a medical condition I am unable to work a conventional job so for the most part I am available every day of the week. In my home my dog has a big yard and is to be off leash for the most part.the majority of my clients do have fences.I also walk quite frequently no matter the weather so don’t be afraid to ask.

“I can’t say enough good things about Alaina! She is a dog whisperer. Our dog is very nervous around new people and tends to growl. Alaina wasn’t phased one bit. She made time to come visit with him a few times so he could get used to her. He knew no commands or tricks before she came and by the time we were home she had taught him to sit, shake, “place”, spin, wait and come. We’ve already booked here for our next trip. 10/10!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was young. I love dogs unconditionally and love to play with them, I feed them when needed, I can give baths, and I love to take them on walks. My friends and family have relied on me to dog-sit whenever I was available to do so. I’m currently an MSW student and work part time at the moment. Wednesdays and Fridays will typically be completely free all day. Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursdays I work till 5 PM in Grand Rapids. If services are in Newaygo I’m free at 6 PM once I’m back! I LOVE dogs so this is more of a side thing since I just genuinely enjoy playing and taking care of pups :) I have a fenced in yard and a very playful energetic dog. He is very sweet but he is like our baby so we don’t like to bring other dogs in just because he can get jealous and we don’t like to risk it.

About: I have cared for dogs, cats, race and draft horses, chickens, cows, rabbits, hamsters, guinea Pigs, goats, snakes, birds, llamas, a monkey and lots of other creatures. I’d love to be able to help with your pet care needs. House sitting includes: Staying in your home with your pets. This means there needs to be a clean bed or place to sleep. While your pets will be in my care I will still need to be able to accommodate other responsibilities. Your pets will not be left for more than 7hours at a time. If your pets require 100% around the clock care, I unfortunately will not be able to accommodate this. Meet and greets are required before booking starts. Thank you so much for your time. My schedule is open and usually pretty flexible. I live in the Bailey area close to Half Moon Lake area and accepting new and reacting clients. I love meeting new animals! I make sure to provide a safe environment where your animal will feel confident and less stressed. I have experience administering medications and very detailed feedings. I like to pay attention to the pets routine so that they can have a sense of comfort while you are away.

About: Having experience in taking care of animals since I was young and going on to intern at a vet clinic and being a member of FFA, I have learned to have compassion and love to take care of animals of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. I am currently working weekends, so I'll have plenty of time to play and have interactive fun with pets during the week days and am willing to accommodate whatever they need. About: I spent 13 years caring for my own dog, Seven, and she was truly part of my family. That experience shaped how I care for every dog-patiently, attentively, and with a lot of love. I genuinely enjoy being outside, going on walks, and making sure dogs are active, happy, and not stuck inside all day. Your dog won’t just be “watched”- they’ll be cared for, played with, and treated like one of our own. I currently work from home and am home the majority of the day, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, and care. I do step out occasionally for short transportation trips and my boys’ sports activities, but I plan my schedule to ensure pets are never left alone for long periods. Your dog will have a consistent, safe, and attentive environment with lots of interaction throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide regular potty breaks every few hours, daily walks, and plenty of outdoor time. When I’m outside working on projects, dogs are welcome to be with me under supervision. Because we are on a busy road and the yard is not fully fenced, all dogs will be closely monitored outdoors. I will follow your preferences regarding leashing at all times, and I also have a secure 20-foot cable line available for safe outdoor time when appropriate. Fresh water is always available, both indoors and outside. I also currently have a calm, 12-year-old foster dog who enjoys light play and does well with other dogs. We’re located near a lake, and with your permission, I’m happy to include supervised swimming and extra outdoor activities for dogs who enjoy it. I will always tailor care to your dog’s individual needs to ensure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I remember. It started with my family dog and bearded dragon which both lived a very long and fulfilling life. I currently have a border collie mix of my own right now and some fish. I have lots of experience walking and taking care of dogs. I have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes, all ages (puppy to senior), all energy levels, and various different breeds (Boykin Spaniels, Pitbulls, Pomeranians, Border Collies, and Labs to name a few). Some of those dogs were anxious and/or reactive. I also understand the extra patience it takes to care for rescues and fosters because I volunteered at an animal shelter in Minnesota when I was in high school, my dog is a rescue, and I fostered a sweet Black Lab puppy in college. I have some experience caring for cats. I’ve watched cats for a few of my friends with no issues! Something that makes me different than other pet sitters is that I’m a wildlife biologist, so I am very educated about a lot of species and am always so excited to gain more experience caring for a new creature. I handle and manage for wild animals daily. In summary, I’d love to take care of your pet and give it the love and attention it deserves. Feel free to reach out anytime! I have plenty of free time right now, all day, every day. I am temporarily furloughed because of the government shutdown so am looking for some more cash. This seemed like a fun way! Safety is very important to me. If your pet comes to my place or if I watch your pet, I would keep them safe by following these rules I’ve created: - I don’t let dogs have huge bones or huge treats without supervision to avoid choking. - I always have the closest vet’s number written down in case of emergencies prior to caring for your pet. - I always have pet first aid supplies available just in case. - I ask about a pet’s reactivity towards dogs, people, and other animals prior to caring for your pet so I can keep your pet safe on walks.
