That's a big thing for me, if an animal is uncomfortable, I am 100% uncomfortable along with them.. learning their little quirks and finding ways to do things in the best way possible for that specific animal is what I do and I absolutely love doing it. I’ve worked in horse barns, animal shelters, and dog boarding facilities, and I’m skilled in administering all types of medications, including insulin. About: I've spent my entire life having animals and loved them for my entire life. I've had cats my entire life, and often this is not lent itself well to me also owning a dog. We currently own three cats one 12 year old lady, and two 2 year old brothers. When I was young I would walk the neighbor's dog just so I could get some dog time in. In college and after college I had several roommates who had dogs I lived with, who I would also help care for either just for fun or while they were gone. I have also taken care of friends dogs while they are out of town on vacation. I have experience with cats from 6 weeks old all the way up to end of life. I have experience in giving cats medication, special diets, special instructions and any other quirks your cat may have. I'm experienced in walking dogs, playing with dogs, feeding dogs (including special diets) and while I love larger dogs, I currently am unable to care for them due to a medical condition and it only able to care for a small dogs. I'm currently taking a break from my career and have very flexible availability, both during the week and on the weekends. I do request 24 hours notice. I will take care of your pets with the instructions you leave me with. I will rely on you as the pet parent to make all major decisions and follow your rules as best as possible. I am great with communication and will regularly communicate with you to show you how your pets are doing while you're out of town and ask any questions that arise while you're gone.

About: I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals at various ages/health levels/behavioral attitudes. I see every animal as an individual requiring specific care and love to learn about what makes them each unique. I grew up caring for chickens, had a dog in agility, along with a pet parakeet. I lived in Myanmar during peace corps and quickly became known as the "cat house" because all the stray cats would go in and out of my house--and I ended up caring for 3 litters of kittens alongside the mothers (thankfully getting them both spayed). I've done some fostering and overnight pet-sitting, and would meet your pets needs wherever they're at! I will be substitute teaching starting in the fall, so before that my schedule will be quite flexible, then afterwards I’ll still be available and flexible (I don’t plan to sub every day as I’m also an online student) but wouldn’t always be able to do midday visits. However, just ask! I only provide care in the pets' habitats as I can't guarantee my cats would get along with all animals, but I promise to leave the house looking the same as it did when I came in, use the appropriate leash/harnesses on walks, and keep litter boxes clean.

We do not have a fenced in yard so plenty of walks are had! We make sure if we have your pet on the weekend, that we get things done early in the day so we have the rest of the time playing! We treat all dogs like they are own. I ask for vet information and if you will be gone for over a week, I ask that you inform your vet that your pet is with a babysitter. We do not have kids in the house FT, so there are no toys to be chewed on, just dog toys :) We do require all dogs to have all vaccinations.

About: I've grown up with pets all my life. I had a dog and a cat as a kid and teen along with fish and reptiles. I currently have a beautiful cat now. I love being around animals and taking care of them. Brightens my whole day when I can just cuddle with my fur babies. Every morning I clean my cats bowls and refill them with water and dry food and I also give my cat wet food in the morning. I clean the litter pan twice a day as well. When I had a dog same thing except I would walk him twice a day and take him out to potty every 2-4 hours. Have a large back yard with posts to keep pets leashed but enough to roam the yard. I have a dog park within minutes from my home too! If you want your fur baby in a crate I have room to put crates up.

About: I’m the type of person who goes to a party and makes friends with the dog. My friends know I’m around when they see a blanket covering up their sleeping pup. My family has nicknamed me dog girl because I take on the challenge of caring for all of them during family functions. I have experience with dogs who need medication, eye drops, ear drops, or who have health issues. I work from home so I am able to hangout with your pet all day! I have a very flexible work schedule if appointments are needed. I prefer to care for dogs in my home but can watch in your home, let out during the day, and check on your home if away. At my home I leash all pets when letting them out. Dogs are allowed on my furniture, I even have a chair next to my work desk incase they want to lounge around on the job.
