“I give this lady a 5 star rating... Marshall can be a bit of a handful full he is full of energy. He is still a pup 14 months thinking he's part human.. She sent me pictures of Marshall. He looked very happy! I could enjoy my trip without having to worry about him. I got 2 more trips planned with her in the near future. I would recommend anybody bringing their fur baby here to her and her daughter. Marshall took right to her daughter and her daughter.”

“Leonardo and Oriana were great with our dog. We got daily pictures and updates. Very responsive and accommodating. I will definitely recommend them and will ve using their service again in the future.”

“Pam and her husband were so wonderful with my older beagle, Hank! I could tell from all of my updates and pictures that he was truly on vacation at their house. They were so professional and kind! So appreciative that they took him in and treated them as good as their own ♥️ Will absolutely be reaching out when needing to go out of town again!! The BEST.”

“Rory seemed to fit right in with Jamie and her family. Jamie took everything in stride and was very flexible with pick up time since our flight was delayed. It was much easier to enjoy our trip knowing Rory was well taken care of. Will definitely use Jamie again when flying out of RDU since she is right off the highway.”

“Francisco did an amazing job with my Boxer and Olde English Bulldog. I love that he treated them like they were his dogs. I did not worry the entire time I was out of time because he communicated with me and sent me pictures which gave me the peace of mind to know and see they were okay and in good hands. I will definitely be calling Francisco again to care for my babies.”

“Dillon is very attentive and thoughtful of your pets needs and personality. He responded quickly and sent plenty of updates and pictures to know how Hildy was doing throughout the weekend. He's got a nice big fenced yard for the dogs to play in and took Hildy for walks with his dogs as well.”

“Last week I had to leave town at the last min and I needed someone to care for my dog while I was away. I’ve never used rover before so I was pretty skeptical. But after leaving my dog with Joanne for the weekend I am confident I’ll be booking via rover and 100% sure that my dog and I will return to Joanne. Joanne is a very sweet lady and you can immediately tell that she genuinely love and care for dogs. I was very please with my dogs care. I received updates and photos everyday thru out the weekend. She also has a big beautiful yard that your pet can freely roam around. Hands down the best dog sitter I’ve ever encountered.”

“Kelly was amazing! This was my first experience using Rover and she made it so easy. Kelly is very responsive and provided regular updates with photos while my pup was in her care. My pup loved being there with Kelly and her family (including other dogs) and loved how they made my pup feel at home. A much better experience for my pup instead of being boarded in a kennel for days. I will definitely book with Kelly again!”

“Kelley was a great babysitter for Darcy. She kept us updated with photos throughout the weekend! Darcy who is a year and a half had the best time with her boys. I would definitely recommend Kelley to anyone looking for a sitter and I will be using her again!”

“Jennifer is a top notch dog sitter! I could not have found a better person to take care of my Gio. She gave him so much love and attention and sent me pictures twice a day to show me how happy he was. She prepared his food exactly the way he likes it, let him hang out and sleep on the couch and has a fenced yard so he could get plenty of exercise outside. Having such a great home to leave my pup, really made my vacation so much more enjoyable! I highly recommend Jennifer if you have a small dog that needs their own vacation! You will be so happy you chose her.”

“Christopher and Christina were wonderful to watch my dog Max for a full week. I had such peace of mind and received regular updates and photos of Max during that time. Can not recommend them enough!”

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
