With 4 years of veterinary experience and a bachelor’s in Animal Science, I provide attentive, knowledgeable care for pets of all ages. I’m comfortable recognizing health concerns, providing individualized care, supporting senior pets, and helping shy or anxious animals feel safe and comfortable. I genuinely love getting to know your pet’s unique personality and routine. I understand that communication regarding their wellbeing is paramount during your absence so regular updates will always be provided. I have considerable experience caring for pets with chronic conditions and special needs including blindness, deafness, amputees, anxiety, allergies, IBD, IVDD, hip dysplasia, arthritis, CHF, cancer, CKD, Diabetes, and thyroid disorders. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your baby in the hands of anyone else, so it will be my mission to make your experience as stress-free and comfortable as possible. I am currently unemployed, so I have a very flexible schedule. My preferred work days would range Monday-Thursday. Weekends and holidays may be available upon request. I consider myself to be a reliable, ethical, and trustworthy caregiver. My belief is that my character is who I am when no one is watching. Therefore, every pet and/or their home that I take care of will be treated with dignity and respect. I will strictly adhere to feeding, medication, and exercise routines. And most importantly, I will love on and comfort your baby like they were my own.

Tressa is also a wonderful person and sent us tons of updates while we were gone, which warmed our hearts knowing that Chicky had made a new friend for life. About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, starting with my Westie, then my tortoiseshell cat, and now my energetic Border Collie/Heeler mix. Having pets with different personalities and needs has taught me the importance of patience, attention to detail, and dedicated care. I’m also very active and love running, hiking, and biking, so I’m especially great with energetic dogs who need lots of exercise and engagement. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I treat every pet like my own and always prioritize their happiness and well-being. I’m currently a substitute teacher in Bozeman, and pet sitting through Rover is a meaningful way for me to supplement my income while doing something I genuinely enjoy. Working in schools has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and attention to detail, which naturally carry over into the way I care for animals. I’m dependable, trustworthy, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I live right along a park, so daily walks are already a big part of my routine with my Border Collie/Heeler mix. My dog is very friendly, active, and would love to have some new walking buddies from time to time. We spend a lot of time outside exploring trails, getting exercise, and enjoying fresh air, so your dog would get plenty of activity, attention, and companionship while in my care. We especially appreciated all the videos and photos we got, and proactive check in when a medication was low so that we could reorder it. Bowie seemed quite content.”
