“Jason has been walking Josie about two weeks now. He is a very nice man, always punctual and gives me notice he is on the way. He is friendly with Josie and she loves him! Jason is flexible with his schedule. I highly recommendi him!”

“Niah has been a wonderful part of Princeton Antonio’s daily routine, and he gets extra excited whenever she arrives! She’s energetic, caring, and incredibly thoughtful. One of the things I appreciate most is how she always sends me sweet photos of Princeton that I can share with my mother in Chicago (who, by the way, adores her St. Louis-based grand-dog). Rain or shine, Niah shows up every evening without fail. Her dependability and connection with Princeton have been incredibly helpful while I've been recovering from a broken ankle. She has my highest recommendation to anyone who needs a dog walker or pet sitter.”

“Tammy has done a wonderful job taking my dog for daily walks this week. She is easy to communicate with, knowledgable and comfortable with pet care, and reliable. I look forward to her continued help with dog walking.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets of all shapes and sizes for years throughout my neighborhood. I cared for my parents elderly dog when she was going through chemotherapy, and I have experience working with rescues who are timid as well. I have a cat at home who I adore and who is the absolute center of my world. I can’t wait to meet the pet who is the center of your whole world too! I work from home full-time and have incredible flexibility during the week and on the weekends. I can be available for a potty break and quick walk in the morning, midway during the day, and in the evenings after 4 PM. I’m an avid pet sitter and walker, meaning I enjoy tiring out your pet while also making sure they get the best care possible. I take special care to be respectful of the pet owner’s home and time, and do my best to provide both the pet and pet owner with the peace of mind necessary when entrusting someone with your animal.

About: I’ve been into animals my entire life. I grew up with dogs and horses. I knew I wanted to at some point work with them in a greater capacity. I started helping with rescues 15 years ago and then I started doing wild life rehabilitation. I have had over 20 rescue animals in the past 15 years that became part of my family. Cats, dogs, squirrels, etc. I love them and being able to care for them. My daughter is headed to Veterinary school next fall! I’d like to think the love of animals she has seen in me helped her come to such an amazing decision. Let me love on your fur babies like I do on my 2 doggies and kitty cats!! I am currently available at anytime! I’m flexible with your schedule and can change if needed on things. I do remote work 4 hours per day 3 days a week which offers me the flexibility to be available when they need it anytime of day or night! I am willing to do things the way that you feel is best for your individual animals. I do not believe there is just one standard for caring, it needs to be tailored to the needs of the client/animal.

“Emma has been a wonderful communicator from the drop! We had a short time frame before I needed help with my doggos so we weren’t able to meet up before walking my difficult children, but she was cool with that and I’m so thankful!! One of my dogs is very bad and I was transparent about that: Emma was up for the challenge and told me she loves my boys!! Super excited to rebook, recommend her highly! :)”

“Lara is great - she handles my large dog with ease - he can be leash reactive and that requires expertise. And she is consistent and timely and reliable. What else could you ask for?”

About: I've been volunteering with my local animal shelters for the past 5 years, serving as both a short- and long-term foster parent. This has given me experience managing dogs with a very wide array of behavior and temperament ranging from extremely well-trained to pretty much feral! I love it. Before that, I was the go-to pet and house sitter in my neighborhood as a teenager for dog and cat (and plant) families. I'm currently doing part time work from home on my own schedule, so I am very flexible as to when I can accept clients - weekends, weekdays, overnight all work. Since I am currently renting I cannot look after other people's pets at my own place, but I am open to going most places in the Saint Louis region! Depending on your distance from me and frequency of care, I can either stay at your place or commute each time.

“Vivek is a nice man. He is always friendly with Josie, punctual and very responsible. He is accommodating to changes in schedules and from the pictures he shares, they seem to have a great time. Josie stands on 2 legs in anticipation looking for him . I highly recommend Vivek for walking your pup.”

About: I have been dog walking at the APA of Missouri every weekend from 12–2, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I’m responsible, patient, and always make sure pets feel safe and cared for. I’m excited to bring that same care and attention to your dog! I’m a college student living in St. Louis for the summer with a very flexible schedule. I genuinely love caring for all animals and am available to start right away! I always make sure pets in my care feel safe, loved, and well-attended to. I now have a friendly, 1-year-old spayed female dog who gets along well with others. I provide a calm, quiet environment and follow any specific routines or instructions you provide. Pets in my home will get individual attention, and I’ll ensure they feel comfortable and cared for.

“She’s great with my dog. Has lots of energy”

About: Hello! I am an artist who loves all animals. I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant, along with working and volunteering for animal shelters. I am qualified and ready to meet any specific needs your pet may have, and I know how to handle emergencies. I am knowledgeable about different training approaches and techniques. I will respect and follow preferences and keep up with individual routines for each animal. New to Rover! My schedule is flexible. I work part-time night shift, 2-3 nights a week. I miss working professionally with animals and I'm ready to return to what makes me happiest! I have been a pet sitter and dog walker since I was 12 years old. People trust me in their homes and with their beloved family members because of my honesty and consistency. I respect all animals big and small, of all ages, although I admit to having a special place in my heart for the seniors!

About: I am a volunteer dog walker at a local shelter so I have lots of experience with walking and handling all sorts of dogs. I have a 14 year old Husky mix and 6 year old Alaskan Husky. The older guy has slowed down and needs some more tender loving care these days, so I definitely have some special needs/senior experience. The 6 year old girl is very active and gets around 4 miles of walks each day. Seeing the joy on their faces when asked if they want to go for a walk melts my heart. I don't have cats, but I TNR'd four feral cats in the neighborhood and feed and interact with them every morning. In the past, I've also cared for friends' cats when they went out of town - feeding, cleaning litter box, etc. I have a remote sales job which allows me to be very flexible. I volunteer every Friday morning from 8AM-11AM which is the only time I'm not available on a weekly basis. When walking my own dogs (and the shelter dogs for that matter), I'm very cognizant of broken glass on the sidewalks, discarded food and trash, and any other obstacles that tend to come up in the city. I know every dog is different and make sure to follow directions given when walking your pup.

“Margaret did such a fantastic job walking Deacon while I was away! She provided excellent updates and was dependable. I would absolutely recommend her!”

“Amaan was quick to respond and agreed to walk my pup when I unexpectedly got sick. He’s super attentive and I know she had a great time with him!”

“Makenzie took my 9 mo old Samoyed Tyko out for an afternoon walk. Gave a full report and pictures. Oh and worked around a last minute schedule, thank you!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have been around them my whole. I have a calm and sensitive approach with dogs and am able to read their verbal and non verbal body language well, I am currently working full time schedule as a social worker in the community mental health field so I am mobile during the day but my schedule is flexible and I do my own scheduling, I have the ability to leave for break during day if needed. I have full availability after 3:30pm as well as on the weekends Establishing trust by letting the dog warm up and feel comfortable with me. Making sure to read the dog and when the dog wants to play/interact, when the dog wants space. I have a good ability to read when dogs have other needs that need to be met.

About: I have over a decade of experience taking care of pets of all sizes. Growing up friends relied on me to take care of their pets while away. I have experience walking very large dogs and dealing with difficult animals. As a graduate student working part time I can accommodate a variety of schedules as my own is quite flexible. As a pet owner myself I am used to keeping to a rigid schedule for play and food. My number one priority is making as little an impact on your pets space as possible while nurturing a loving and stress free atmosphere. I constantly make sure pets are feeling happy and engaged and enriched while quickly and accurately attending to their needs.

About: Familiar with dogs and cats of many breeds and many needs, I can confidently bathe, feed, walk and care for your furry friends. In my years of providing pet care for friends, family and myself, I have been exposed to pets of all shapes, sizes, breeds and specific needs. Rest assured the utmost diligence and attention to detail will be used when it comes to your precious pets. I'm currently working full time on the weekends, but my Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays will belong solely to your furry friends. I'll have plenty of time to care for and play with your furry friends during my mid-week availability. As an in-home pet sitter, I provide personalized, stress-free care for your pets in the comfort of their own environment. I like to follow your pet’s routine closely, including feeding, fresh water, exercise, playtime, and any medications needed. I offer companionship and affection to keep them happy and relaxed while you're away. I also maintain the cleanliness of the home by picking up after pets, cleaning litter boxes or cages, and ensuring food/water areas are tidy. Light household tasks like bringing in mail or watering plants can be included as well. My goal is to keep your pets safe, healthy, and loved, just as you would.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 or 11. I have always grew up with dogs in my family household. I love caring for them, playing with them, and taking them on walks! I work full time but I’d love to walk your doggies when I am not needed at my job. I will of course try to keep any one that wants service updated on my availability. I will always treat your pets with respect and love and provide the utmost care. I will also always make sure their needs are met and that they feel safe.

Sarah G.
“Sarah is the only pet sitter that I totally trust with my animals. When my dog suddenly had horrible diarrhea, she helped me figure out what to do and kept me informed so I know what to do if it happens again. She has taken such good care of my bearded dragon who is a very particular guy. It is hard to find someone who knows how to care for reptiles. She followed my exact/particular instructions about his care.”

Ben D.

“Ben is a fantastic pet caregiver. He's reliable, attentive, and truly loves animals. I felt completely at ease leaving Oakley in his care, knowing he'd be well taken care of. I highly recommend Ben for any pet owner seeking a responsible and loving dog walker.”

Malysha R.
“Malysha has been my go-to pet sitter for years. We live in the same building and needed a last minute pet sitter when I went out of town and didn’t know any of my neighbors. Now she’s the only person I trust with my babies. My German shepherd loves walking with her and my two cats who don’t like most people love her almost as much as they love me. She treats them just like they’re her own.”

Janae N.
“Janae is a wonderful, kind, and compassionate person, and my pets love visits from her. She is attentive and goes above and beyond when caring for then while we are away.”
