We are always confident that our babes are in good hands (and she sends such beautiful photos, too)! A Dog’s Best Friend is the BEST Petsitter possibly ever!”

“OMG! WOW! Melissa is the best ever. She coddled our dogs Zena (Goberian) and Maddie (Siberian Husky) with love and care. You don't get this kind of care boarding at a Kennel. We hope she will have our babies in the future. There is good, better and best, but Melissa was outstanding!”

About: I absolutely love dogs. I have had such incredible experiences, love, and friendship with these amazing animals! I’ve had three dogs through out my life. Two that lived amazing long lives, and my current baby Koda, who is a pomsky. I know how stressful it is to leave your pet with someone, but I can assure you they will have an amazing, and safe time staying here! We have a fully fenced in back yard with lots of room to run and play. I also work from home hence why Koda is so spoiled haha. I work from home from my laptop so I am easily accessible to my dog, and am able to take him out several times a day. We love to go on trails and play in the backyard. I also don’t mind feeding on a strict schedule as Koda has an internal clock and eats at a certain time twice a day haha. Koda is my dog, so he will be here full time. He is the friendliest dog ever, and hardly ever barks, so no bad habits will be picked up. I also have an extra crate for medium sized dogs if your dog prefers to sleep in one! A fully fenced in back yard, and will gladly go by any guidelines you may have for your pet. If your dog eats normally at 5:00 pm. He will be eating at exactly 5:00 pm! I will provide photos through out their time here if you would like!
“Isabella was a great host for our two pups! They were very content when we picked them up, got lots of outside time, and she went out of her way to send pictures and updates that were very appreciated. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Alexandria kept my pup Jaxson for a weekend. First I noticed that when I went to drop him off that she had read his profile and was familiar with his habits, wants, and needs. She responded to me quickly when I messaged to check in on him, and she sent me pics of him throughout the day. Alexandria was great and is Jaxson new sitter! I definitely recommend her!”

About: Grew up with all sorts of animals, mainly cats and dogs of all sizes. Currently have one of my own and live with 5 other dogs in a house. Just moved to Nashville so hoping to meet all the new doggie faces. Currently working part-time monday through friday and weekends will usually be open to spend as much time as needed with the pets. Just let me know in advance and i can usually make time to help you out. Im living in an apartment with some friends so i would mainly prefer in home dog watching or walking. My roommates have a dog so boarding at my apartment wouldnt be the best option as well.

“My 3 year old Aussie, Walter, has special needs. He is deaf and I am very picky about who I leave him with. Glenn was AWESOME!!! He simply LOVES dogs. He has great accommodations and sent me pictures everyday which helped ease my anxiety. I will most definitely be sending Walter back to stay with Glenn.”

“Stephanie went above and beyond to take care of our pups while out of town for an entire week. We received photos and videos every day. She was quick to respond and made sure our pups were well taken care of. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“We left our 13 year old Maine coon cat, Jasmine, with Tiffany and her family for a few days. Jasmine got lots of gentle love and attention from Tiffany’s children. She did just fine. We would happily recommend them.”

As of November 2026, there are 511 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Fosterville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
96% of sitters in Fosterville can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Fosterville home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Fosterville.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Fosterville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
