About: Hi! I’ve always had a huge love for animals and honestly can’t imagine life without them. I worked at PetSmart for 3 years as a Pet Care Associate, where I cared for all kinds of animals — from dogs and bunnies to lizards and other small pets. That experience taught me so much about animal behavior, patience, and making pets feel comfortable and cared for. I also know the doggy Heimlich maneuver, so your pet’s safety is always something I take seriously. I grew up surrounded by pets and now have two of my own as an adult, so I completely understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family members. About: My pet-sitting experiences include looking after both cats and dogs day to day and for extended periods of time. When taking care of cats, I make sure they have clean water and food at all times; keep their environment clean; watch over them and see if they are healthy; and interact with them by playing with them on a daily basis. I also have experience caring for dogs of various sizes and energy levels. Making sure their fed, walked, groomed, and cleaning up any messes/ their environment. In addition always making sure they have access to clean drinking water and providing plenty of playtime and attention. I occasionally take care of a family friend’s dog who has arthritis. I help keep her comfortable through gentle massages, giving her medication as directed, and hand-feeding her when necessary. In doing so, I learned to be patient and attentive in caring for an animal's individual needs. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals. I always go the extra mile into taking good care of animals, ensuring their safety, and comfort in the absence of their owners. I treat every pet as if they were my own and doing everything I can to ensure their happiness. I am extremely flexible with regards to my schedule, and can be available for the most part of the day. I wake up early, so feeding and taking the animals for walk won't be a problem at all. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I value their safety, trust, and maintaining a calm and familiar environment for their pet. It is important for me to carefully follow all the instructions concerning their feeding schedule, treatment, taking medication, and other specific care. It goes without saying that I make sure that the pets receive proper meals and have clean water to drink. I also try to keep the house as clean as possible, including litter boxes for cats and any messes that may occur. I also observe the pets to ensure everything seems normal and they’re healthy. I believe that building trust with both pets and owners is essential, I’ll always provide them with updates and photographs about the current condition of the pets. My goal is to make sure their pet is cared for and mostly importantly happy.

About: Caring for dogs isn't just something I do. It's something I'm genuinely passionate about. About: I have owned an animal since I was a kid. I have had 3 dogs Have done dog sitting for my neighbors and dog walking. I have also volunteered at the humane society and worked at Cherokee kennels. I love animals when I got my dogs they were scared and they became my shadows I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pups and kitties. After work and on weekends. I play with and feed and walk my dog and give cuddles I also walk and give treats and pets to my neighbors dog almost daily.

On top of pet care, she was a huge help with things around the house when they came up and shared really helpful advice for managing our dog’s allergies. I've had the privilege of caring for my 10-year-old dog, Splash, which has taught me the importance of patience, trust, and routine. In addition, in the past, I have had a few repeat clients that I saw weekly as well as additional as-needed clients. I have experience with drop-ins, walks, and house sitting for multiple days. I truly care about your dog’s well-being and will treat them like my own, providing a safe, loving, and playful environment! I have a full-time job with 1-2 work from home days depending on the week. I can be available in the morning, mid-day, afternoon, or evening on the weekends and certain week days. Happy to work with you to fit the needs of you and your pet:). In my home or your dog's home, I prioritize creating a comfortable and safe environment. I will stick to routines that your dog is familiar with (feeding times, walks, playtime, etc.) to keep them feeling secure. My goal is to ensure they feel loved and cared for, just like they would with their own family. I currently live in an apartment in downtown Madison, therefore I do not have a yard for your fur baby to play in. However, I have a handy mom van with me to take to any pre-approved parks or any other destinations that you and I would discuss!

“Matthew watches our German Shepard fora Week. Cooper loved him. When Cooper will sleep with you and let you give belly rubs you know he loves you. While we were gone I got a notice the lawn service was coming the next day for the final application of the year. I texted Matt and asked him if he could clean up the poop in the back yard. He not only cleaned it up he also raked the leaves. Amazing!! Before we left he spent an entire day with Cooper so they could get to know each other and see if he had any questions. He’s amazing and we will be using him next time we travel.”

“Brooke was just fabulous with all my fur babies! She is patient, inquisitive, kind and caring. She was in very in tune with my all four of my fur babies’ needs, and was responsive to my questions both in person and via the phone/text. Brooke caught on quickly to all their little idiosyncrasies and took it all in stride. I have had a dog that is terrified of any type of rainstorms. She can tell that a storm is coming when it’s two hours away! So, she needs her meds, her thundershirt and she needs understanding when it comes to getting her in her safe space. She even stayed calm when my cat brought her a mouse. None of my fur babies appeared to miss me at all! She sent me daily updates, considered each pet’s individual needs, and took good care of my home. My home is not easy to manage, but she handled it very well. My family loved the stories I shared from Brooke while I was on vacation with. I would highly for anyone’s pet sitting needs.”
