About: I have 2 dogs of my own. I’ll treat your pets as if they’re part of my family. I have experience giving insulin injections and oral meds. I’ve cared for puppies to senior dogs. I have experience with dogs with behavioral issues and special needs. I’d love to help care for your pets. I am available daily for drop-ins, walking, playtime in the clients home. I’m also available for overnight stays with your pets in the comfort of your own home. I provide a meet and greet to meet you and your pets to understand your daily routine. I’ll focus on maintaining this routine while you’re at work or away.
About: I have been around animals my entire life, however, I certainly have the most experience with caring for cats and dogs as they have lived in my home all this time and still do today! I am currently on summer break for school and therefore I am available any hour of almost every day until school starts back up in the middle of August! When it comes to my own pets, my cats have full access to food as they all have the same diet, and they are additionally fed wet food twice a day. They are also given outdoor time and all of mine are trained to stay around the house and come back inside when prompted! Their litter boxes are cleaned daily, each of them are brushed regularly, etc. When it comes to dogs, my family dog is fed twice a day, taken on walks at least once a day, spends lots of time outdoors, and is groomed routinely. All of these are dependent on owners, but that is how things are done in my house hold specifically!
“Lauren is amazing! She responded quickly when I first reached out and made time for a meet and greet, which immediately put me and my pup at ease. When she takes my dog for a walk. she always shares thoughtful updates and the cutest photos. It’s clear she truly loves animals and goes above and beyond to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved. My dog adores her, and I felt so comfortable knowing he was in such great hands. I’ll definitely continue using Lauren as my dog walker—she’s the best!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was 10 and am currently a vet student, so I have a deep understanding of pet health and behavior. Whether it’s high-energy puppies or seniors needing extra patience, I provide specialized care including feeding, bathing, and walking. I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes, and I’m dedicated to making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and pampered while you’re away. Since I’m a student, my schedule is flexible and I can easily work pet care into my daily routine. I’m available for boarding on weekends and can do weekday drop-ins or walks after my classes. Your pets will get plenty of one-on-one attention and playtime with me! I prioritize a safe and stress-free environment, whether I’m in your home or mine. I’m very observant of animal body language and health signs thanks to my studies. I can easily crate pets if needed and I always make sure they’re in a secure, fenced area when outside. I’ll keep you updated with photos so you know your fur baby is happy and in good hands!
About: Although I have more experience with cats, I love all pets in all sizes! I will treat your fur baby exactly the way they are supposed to be treated, like a member of the family. I will make sure your pets are well cared for, loved, and I will try my best to make sure you receive updates along the way because that is what I would like, if it were me. If your buddy needs medicine or special care instructions, I am happy to oblige. I want to make sure your pet feels the least amount of stress possible, because I know how hard it can be when they are away from you. I'm a stay-at-home mom, so I have plenty of time during the week to care for your pet and take them for walks. Boarding can happen any day of the week. I have 2 kitties and a pup at home with an unfenced yard in a safe neighborhood. I will make sure your fur baby is cared for on the schedule you need to keep them on track. Because I stay at home, I will be picking up my kids from school during school days and would love to be able to bring your buddy with me during that time (if they aren't stressed about it).

About: The past two summers I have worked at a dog daycare. At my job I would work with dogs 1 on 1 or in groups up to 20! In addition, I have pet sit for neighbors since middle school. My family also owns a cat and dog. As a college student I currently have no pets, but at home I would take care of my family's pet while they were at work or on vacation! I would help feed, medicate, walk, play, and clean up after my pets! I live a very active lifestyle and love to involve my pets within it. The biggest factor is communication and following the needs of the pets per owner. I want to ensure that I follow their directions, but also use my own knowledge to care for their pet the best way possible. I want to ensure that their pet feels comfortable while I am there and is getting the care and attention they need.
About: I have been a regular pet sitter for friends, family, and coworkers since I was a teenager. I have experience with large or small dogs, elderly dogs, cats, and pets that need medication or other accommodations. I have experience with dog-sitting for up to two weeks at a time. This has sometimes included, but is not limited to, administering medication, cleaning up messes inside and outside, walking, feeding, and bathing. Ensuring the safety, health, and happiness of each pet I take care of is my top priority and it is one of my favorite things to do in the world! I do not have the same schedule weekly, so I will constantly update my availability. I only know my availability up to 3 weeks in advance. Unless I have to work very early the next day, I am available for overnights at least 3 days a week (typically). I am unable to have pets at my house because I live with a family member’s dog that does not do well with other animals. Please give me any and all instructions! I will make sure to follow any routine that I can for your pet to be comfortable. I will provide as many updates/photos as requested.

I cannot stress enough how excited I am to meet all new friends and to build bonds with not only the pets, but the families who love them so much. I look forward to hearing from you!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
