About: I have owned and taken care of pets my entire life. I know what it feels like to leave your babies in the hands of others to care for. It is often a very uneasy feeling. But you can rest assured that I will care for your fur babies like they are my own, ensuring they are happy and loved everyday! I have tons of experience from raising and training puppies to senior care. I even have experience administering insulin by injection to diabetic dogs and cats. So no task is too difficult. I am home everyday so I have a very flexible schedule. I will care for your pets full-time, tending to all of their needs. I also have two amazing children who have been raised with pets since the day they were born and they are wonderful with animals. So, your fur babies will be showered with love and affection! Unless instructed otherwise, your pet will have free rein of the house to enjoy and relax. I have a super sweet 12 year old female Siberian Husky mix who loves everyone and everything. My yard is fully fenced and I live in a dog friendly gated community with our very own dog park! Your pup will be safe and secure, loved and well taken care of.
“Theresa was amazing with my dogs and when we ran into an issue getting back, was extremely understanding and empathetic. 10/10 would recommend and will be using her services again when we visit Savannah again! Thanks, Theresa! 🐾”

We recommend Sarah for anyone needing a caring and kind dog sitter. We had a lovely day in Savannah with no worries. Thank you Sarah!”

“Crystal and her family are AMAZING!!! Our pup goes once a week for doggy day care and also stays with Crystal for extended periods when we are traveling. They go above and beyond to make our Lola feel at home - walks, playtime, doggy friends, lots of love and pictures too - you name it, they do it! We cannot recommend Crystal enough, she is truly the BEST!!!”

“Jackie did a wonderful job with our two babies. She took pictures and shared updates and our babies are happy and relaxed. She kept them busy and happy!! That’s exactly what we wanted!! Excellent care!”

About: Since the age of six, dogs have been a major presence in my life. From 50 lb pitties to 3 lb yorkies, I have had the privilege of caring for a myriad of canine companions, including seniors and those with special needs. My passion lies in ensuring that your fur babies receive nothing short of exceptional care, along with ample opportunities for fun and exercise. Over the course of the past sixteen years, I have gained a wealth of experience in managing complex medication schedules, tending to severe illnesses, and attending to various disabilities. Regardless of the circumstances, you can rest assured that your cherished doggos will receive the utmost care and attention. I am currently a stay at home dog mom and can be available just about anytime to check in, love on, and walk your dogs. I'm happy to walk your dog(s) around the neighborhood or nearby park, play some fetch or whatever games they love best. Very comfortable with handling up to four large dogs at a time on walks.

“Our Chocolate Lab spent the day with Marston and his 2 pups while we explored Savanna. This is my first experience using Rover and it is intimidating to leave our sweet Charlie with someone we do not know. I read his reviews and was confident I was making the right decision. Once we met him and his dogs I knew Charlie was in good hands. Charlie ran right in to party. He sent pictures of their adventures. Charlie came home exhausted. I highly recommend Marston.”

“Allyson was very considerate of Pip's fear of stormy weather. She also sent me updates throughout the day which I really appreciated. Thanks again for taking care of my Pip!”

“Caroline did a great job with watching Vienna! I get so nervous leaving her with people I don't really know, but when I went to pick her up she seemed like she had a good time. Caroline also sent me photos throughout the day, which made me feel much better.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve volunteered with veterinary offices and the Humane Society, and I understand the patience, responsibility, and love animals need to feel safe and happy. I live locally in the Landings and I work from home, which means your pets will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day in a quiet, smoke-free, child-free environment. I also have a fenced in yard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks. My two friendly dogs absolutely love having visitors and get along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. Whether your pet stays with us for boarding, I stay in your home, or I stop by for drop-in visits, I’ll make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your furry family members, and I’ll treat your babies like they’re my own. We can’t wait to meet them! I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule which means your pets will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. For in home visits, I am dependable with visit times. I know how much peace of mind matters when leaving your pets, and I’ll treat yours like family while you’re gone. Your dog will stay in a quiet, clean, child-free and smoke-free home where their comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have a securely fenced section of yard for supervised outdoor play, potty breaks, and fresh air. My two small dogs are loving, friendly, and enjoy having furry friends visit! Dogs are welcome on the furniture, so they’ll have plenty of cozy spots to relax and feel at home. If your dog is crate-trained or prefers their own space, I’m also happy to crate them as needed for sleeping, feeding, or downtime based on your routine and preferences.

About: I've been pet sitting for over ten years and am trusted by several families in the area! My home is loving, warm, and will provide a safe and happy atmosphere for your pet. I only ask that you are honest about your furry friend. I can’t board pets with behavioral issues, fleas, chewing habits, or that aren’t safe around children. Thank you! I only schedule boarding and doggy daycare services on days that I will be home (unless taking child to school/dropping off, or running a quick errand). My focus is on one family at a time, so I never have pets from multiple homes under my care at once. Your pet will receive the love and attention they deserve. My care is loving, nurturing, and intuitive. I am able to pick up on your pets energy and decide how to move forward from there. Some pets are anxious or excited, and others need space. Regardless of personality and needs, your pet is ALWAYS safe with me.
About: I’ve raised two dogs as puppies and have extensive experience in training them. My current dog, Penny, is a rescue and loves to run around and play outside. I make sure to provide attentive supervision so the dogs feel comfortable and at ease. I work from home full-time so I have plenty of opportunities to let the dogs out throughout the day for potty breaks or play time. Weather permitting, we take long walks each morning after breakfast, and at night after dinner. I have a fenced in yard so my dog spends a lot of time outside running around or just hanging out. I also have a large screened in porch when she needs a break from the sun. Penny sleeps in my office (her room) next to the bedroom which is where other dogs would sleep as well. I don’t allow dogs on furniture or sleep in the bed.

“Our pup Loki loves going to doggy daycare every week with Jennifer. He’s become so attached that he practically leaps out of the car when he sees her and forgets all about us lol!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
