About: I've taken care of young and old dogs. I've watched family pets for years and have spent a lot of care on specialized research around animals to ensure I give them the best care I can. I love to play with them, never get bored of watching them and ass I started I pay a lot of attention to detail. I can pick up on all those little details in dogs that many sitters will miss. You could not leave your dog with a safer host. I have a very flexible and open schedule right now. I am willing to work whenever and can plan around caring for your pet. It will be my number one priority. I have an apartment that is free of pets right now so I have the space give your pet some extra room without disruption while they stay with me

About: I’ve been an animal lover since day one! From playful pups to cuddly cats, I’ve cared for pets my whole life. I share my days with an energetic dog who keeps me on my toes, and I can’t wait to bring that same fun, adventure, and care to your pet’s day! I share my days with a lovable Goldendoodle who fills my life with joy, keeps me on my toes, as well as making every day brighter! We take our dog on daily walks. About: Hi! My name is Ash and I am excited to be able to have the opportunity to provide love and care to your fur babies. Since I was young I grew up in a household with dogs, mostly pits (& one corgi). At the moment, I have my sweet pitbull Penny who is a spoiled happy girl. When you entrust your pets to me, you can rest assured that they'll be treated as if they were my own. I can provide regular updates on your pet's while also ensuring they get the love, care, play, exercise, and the cuddles they need! I'm currently in online school, so I'll have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I’m not able to provide boarding because of my sweet baby, however, I am able to walk, drop in, or stay overnight! To provide the upmost care for your pets, I can ensure they have a consistent routine that includes potty breaks every 2 hours, access to fresh water and food, a safe environment, and plenty of attention and play time! I also will maintain open communication with you regarding any concerns or changes in your pets behavior. I’m currently in online school for my Medical Assistant (MA) license, which gives me a very flexible and open schedule. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets throughout the day, including walks, drop-ins, and extended care when needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I create a calm, secure environment and closely follow your instructions to maintain their normal routine. I’m attentive to behavior changes, careful with leash and home safety, and always respectful of your space. You can trust that your pet will be cared for responsibly and treated with patience, love, and consistency.

About: With over four years of experience in house and pet sitting, I’ve learned that great care comes down to consistency, attention, and trust. I focus on maintaining each pet’s normal routine—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, or just giving them the right kind of attention they’re used to—so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and respectful of your space, and I make it a point to communicate clearly so you always know how things are going. I approach every stay with the mindset that I’m not just watching over things—I’m making sure your home and pets are genuinely cared for. Right now, I'm working from home and occasionally have to do a few hours at a job site. If that happens I am aware of it and able to let you know via text, or a call. A typical day starts by following your pet’s usual routine—morning feedings, fresh water, and a quick check-in to see how they’re doing. For dogs, that usually means getting outside for a walk, some playtime, and a chance to burn off energy. For cats, it’s more about keeping things calm and familiar—maybe some play if they’re interested, or just quiet company. Throughout the day, I keep things consistent, give them attention on their terms, and make sure everything stays clean and comfortable. Evenings wind down with dinner, another walk for dogs, and some relaxed time so they can settle in for the night. I also send regular updates and photos so you can see how they’re doing and feel connected while you’re away—it’s all about keeping things normal, easy, and stress-free for both you and your pet.
About: Grew up with dogs in the family. A collie and a husky. Currently have a beagle that is 6 years old. Had her since she was 9 weeks old. We walk every day. Care is a high consideration on very cold days as well as hot and humid summer afternoons. I don't work during the summer months. Have time to care for a pet for someone or a family who needs help so they can plan a vacation or time away. Or for those who have a demanding time schedule. I only have one pet, dog, in the house. A fenced in yard and a wireframe crate that is 2 feet x 3 feet and about 2 - 2.5 feet high.

About: I’m here so you can breathe. You need a date night? I got you. You need time off? I got you. Tips go to my wedding Dec 20th! I have my summer off as a teacher in the HBGSD. I am flexible with drop-ins, walks, and even staying over night if needed. My experience dog sitting has been for those in my church. I’m just expanding my services to you I can provide a space in my home to dog sit if you can provide the adequate supplies such as cage, bowls, list of requirements and any necessary medication.
About: I have taken care of pets my entire life. I have always been surrounded by cats and dogs and would not have it any other way. Currently in-between jobs so I am pretty flexible. I will be returning to school in the near future, but that will be online, so will not change my schedule too much. I do not have a fenced-in yard and am not looking to watch pets at my house as I already have my own dogs here.
About: Hello! Justin and I have both had all types of pets our entire lives. Dogs, cats, birds, fish and even a few reptiles! Justin is the son of a veterinarian and has had experience with many types of animals. Our daughters have never not shared a home with a furry best friend and are both nurturing animal lovers. We currently share our home with a very lovable hound mix pup (Finn) that we adopted from a local rescue at 4 months old. We also adopted an adult rescue kitty (Lewis) in the spring of 2022. Lewis and Finn are best buddies! Finn’s mission in life is to befriend everyone he meets, especially dogs!! He’d love to be your pups BFF while staying in our home. We have a gated deck that leads to a fenced in pup play area to safely and leisurely enjoy the fresh air and sunshine on nice days. We enjoy taking frequent walks in our very low traffic rural neighborhood. Our family would love to provide your pup with a loving, safe retreat while you enjoy a guilt free getaway knowing your best friend is being well taken care of and treated like part of the family. Caring for pets is my full time job so I can accommodate your pups needs and give him lots of attention throughout the day and night. I am the primary care giver and Justin fills in when I need to run an errand or have an appointment. Our home is very puppy proofed because our doggy can be mischievous. Our kitty has full run of the lower level of our home but he does come up and interact with everyone.
About: Hello! My name is Lisandra and I am excited to be able to have the opportunity to provide love and care to your fur babies. Since my teenage years I have been taking care of dogs as I grew up in a household with a Shih Tzu and Chihuahua. Once I moved on my own I decided to continue that care by becoming a dog mom myself. Over the last 15 years I have been a dog mom to 2 wonderful dogs! At the moment, I have my Boston Terrier lover boy Scooby who is a spoiled happy boy. When you entrust your pets to me, you can rest assured that they’ll be treated as if they were my own. I can provide regular updates on your pet’s while also ensuring they get the love, care, play, exercise, and the cuddles they need! I’m currently working from home, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I’m available for boarding 7 days a week and can provide doggy day care from 8am-6pm on those 7 days. To provide the upmost care for your pets, I can ensure they have a consistent routine that includes potty breaks every 2 hours, regular exercise with a 15 min daily walk 2 times a day (once in the afternoon and once in the evening), access to fresh water and food, a safe environment, plenty of attention and play time as well as a in home play mate! I also will maintain open communication with you regarding any concerns or changes in your pets behavior.
“This is our first time using Rover, and we couldn’t be happier. We are SO thankful to have found Andy! She is such a wonderful person with a clear love for animals! Her communication is fantastic. She sends us updates of how the walk/visit went, including great pictures and videos of our puppy Eggo! We cannot recommend her enough! Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our girl! ❤️”

About: I will probably remember your dogs name before I remember yours. I love animals and I have 2 German Shepherd Labradoodles who are high energy and extra clingy. I know how to take care of dogs and understand their needs for exercise. Currently I am an educator for High School students looking for summer work. I want to be able to be flexible to still spend time with my puppers and take care of yours. My dogs are crate trained and can be left without destroying things. They are exercised daily as well as keeping them up on their medications and probiptics. My one dog has issues with his hips so we get that checked frequently with the Veterinarians.
About: With years of hands-on experience, I’ve been passionate about pets from a young age. Growing up with two dogs and two cats in the family, I learned the importance of love and responsibility in animal care. My first "job" was dogsitting for friends and family, and later, I spent 9 months at a reputable pet boarding and training facility, leading private activities and swims with dogs. Whether it’s a dog, cat, or any other animal, I genuinely adore them all and treat each one like family! As a full-time college student, I prioritize balancing my studies with my love for animals. Whether it's volunteering at the local animal shelter, dog sitting on weekends, or spending downtime with any pets I know, caring for pets fits seamlessly into my routine. It’s a rewarding way to unwind while staying connected to what I love most—animals! I have stayed in clients homes over night to care for their dogs and I have only heard great feedback. I love sending cute pictures of pets to their parents as well as having a furry friend to cuddle up with during overnights!
About: I have had 8 years of experience dog sitting, hosting, walking and staying at others homes for dog sitting. I love dogs and as I think cats are cute, I am allergic and unfortunately cannot watch them. I love dogs of all sizes and ages! I love boys or girls! I enjoy going on car rides and checking out new areas for the pups to take a walk. I have had dogs my whole life. I currently have a pittie/lab mix and his name is Bentley. He loves to cuddle, play with other dogs, and is sweet as can be! I currently work full time hybrid. I work from home tuesdays and Friday’s and off on weekends. These are the best days for me to have a dog with me since I’m home. I work a 8-4 job. I care for them by spending time, making sure they are fed, walked, and loved on. I have my dog who enjoys chilling or playing with the dogs depending on what the other dog prefers. Pet care fits with my routine as I am hybrid for work and only live 10 mins away from my job. It is easy for me to run home over lunch to check on the dog I’m watching or if close by take out. I make time to spend with the dog I am watching and that they feel comfortable in my home. While dogs are in my home, I treat them like my own. They are able to sleep with me, be on furniture, etc. I take them for walks to get exercise. With parent permission I make ice cream treats (blueberries & Greek yogurt frozen together) and give them to the dog. I make sure they feel comfortable, are fed and have plenty of water. If a parent would like me to administer meds or give a bath, I am happy to do so!

Sandy has been helping us with watching & walking our crazy 10 yo yellow lab Lady for nearly five years, and we couldn't recommend her more. She's reliable, trustworthy, and has been there for us on short notice more than once and really saved our family in a few stressful situations. We're relocating down South for work, and we hope we're lucky enough to find someone as great as Sandy. Lady will definitely miss her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
