About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm. A half hour lunch long lunch where I can leave to care for your furries in the middle of the day depending on the distance. Dogs will be crated when I’m not home. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved. I have a white fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. She stays at home with her other best friend, my significant other while I’m away. About: I am very well equipped to care for dogs and cats with varying needs and abilities. Each animal deserves the love we would give our own child. I’m currently looking for new opportunities having just moved back to the area. I have grown up here and have cared for many pups and kitties and would love the opportunity to give your pet the love and care they deserve. About: Taking care of pets has always been part of my life. I have a fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. As for walks, I have to active kids who are always willing to take a walk around. I currently work at the local school just minutes from my home. I come home middle of the day. I am home during the summer and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and one dog who is a big baby. Dogs are allowed to lay wherever they are comfortable but can also crate if they are used to that.

About: I have been involved in animal rescue since 2016. I have had a handful of foster dogs all with behavioral issues so nothing is too difficult for me to have in my home. I have since had about 300 foster animals not including the farm animals we have rescued over the years. I love all animals and will never not help an animal in need. I used to have a dog walking service from the ages 10-12 and also used to watch everyone’s pet sun the neighborhood while they were on vacation. I then worked at a shelter. That got me into my interest in fostering. I have dabbled in dog training but have never done it professionally only with my personal dogs , foster dogs and friends dogs, until now ! I started my own training business at Sit Happens K9 Academy. I can provide assistance with training if needed as well. We have 4 dogs of our own , cats , goats. , chickens , ducks , rabbits etc. Everyone is able to be separated if need be. As stated above all animals are welcome . We love them all and hope to see your pets soon ! I am in and out of my house frequently to let my own dogs out so that’s a plus ! I chicken sit for a lot of my neighbors and I do in home pet sitting for my friends dogs who I have been watching for 7 years now. I have one client who I do in home dog sitting for for nearly 7 years now. Her dogs do not do well with cats but that is okay as I am able to have them separated. I have 5 dogs not all are good with other dogs and every dog is different. The way my home is set up is I am able to have dogs outside in a roofed kennel run , out on a lead, or on a fence system whatever the owner prefers. I am able to have the dogs away in a separate room of my house if they do not get along with other animals or prefer to be alone. I also have a number of crates if anybody needs to be crate rotated. Basically if the owner doesn’t want their dog to have contact with other animals for whatever reason , I am able to have them separated. Same thing with cats. I have a spare bedroom that is actually set up for my foster cats. It has their furniture , litter boxes , food , water , and crates if they need to be crated, both large and multilevel. I have dealt with pretty much any type of accommodation for any type of animal. I do have my dog training business and have seen just about every single behavioral issue you can think of as well.

About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently looking for part-time work and would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I will be working part-time starting April 14, 2024. I will have a schedule ready sometime afterwards. Hopefully it will be in the next few weeks. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.

About: I have a non-profit organization and I volunteer for the animal cause since 2015. I started to rescue animals and be in love with them in my childhood. Me and my dad used to bring dogs home every week! So working with animals is a thing that I absolutely LOVE to do! i’m currently working the entire day Monday to Friday. So I’m available to boarding on weekends, and at some evenings on weekdays, to have fun with your puppy! I will be taking care of your baby in your home. So I’ll make sure that his routine is followed, that he is feed and has water available, get his favorite toys and play a lot.

About: I have always been a Caretaker, especially when it comes to animals. I am a comforting person and am able to be calm and gentle for your fur baby(ies)! I am working part-time and freelance, and so I am able to be very flexible and add to my itinerary every day, and I would be happy to! My dog, Bailey (as seen in my profile picture), is crated at night because it suits her best, however I will care for your pet whether you prefer them crated or free-range at night! I have an adorable tabby cat, Pippi, who may come out to greet your pet but typically prefers to stay by herself.

About: I have helped take care of my family dog for as long as I could take him for walks by myself. I have loved animals all my life, which led me to major in Animal Behavior. At school, I helped to train and care for capuchin monkeys, administering medication and providing enrichment. This will be my main job, so I will have plenty of time to fit into caring for your pet. I am free on weekends to housesit and stay over to take care of your pets. I am free from 12-5 on weekdays, and if need be, I would also be able to stay overnight to care for your pets on weekdays as well. About: I am very active, I play college soccer and during the summers I like to find things that keep me active everyday! I have 4 dogs of my own ranging from 20lbs to 90lbs. I have had dogs all my life and cleaning up after them and making sure they have time outside is nothing new to me. I also have 3 cats that even play with my dogs! My dogs are very well trained and I bring them everywhere I go. They keep me active and fit which is very well needed when returning to school to play soccer. I would be more than happy to walk and watch other dogs than my own to keep me busy! This would be very beneficial for me!

About: I have taken care of dogs for about 2-3 years now. I have worked at animal shelters and now currently work at an emergency veterinary hospital, so I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I have also been fostering and rescuing dogs for about 6 years now alongside my mother. I work full time, 3 days a week however, on my days off, I would be able to care for them at any hour needed. I am currently on leave until June so I am available at any time convenient to you. My mother and I have a fenced in yard and 6 small dogs of all ages for your dog to play or relax with. They would never be crated unless given instructions to do so and will be treated like a member of the household and given unconditional love and care.

About: I have been taken care of animals since I was 10 years old. My neighbors used to pay me to bathe feed walk, and I’ve also had animals since I was younger until now. I have a Yorkie myself, and I also grew up with animals my whole life so it just comes natural to take care of animals on a daily. I have a daily routine, I believe it helps the animals when they are set in a routine .I am very energetic so I love to go to the dog park and go on walks and just play with them 😊 I have a Yorkie who is lovable and playful. I take her on daily walks and I would do the same for your fur baby. About: Animals have always had a sweet spot in my heart. I have taken care of animals since I was a child, I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, goats, chickens, pigs, cows, and a lot more! When I first enter a persons home I hope their dog or cat comes to me and let’s me love on them. If not I’ll play it cool and wait for them to be ready. I grew up with varying dog breeds including a Chow/German Shepard, Staffordshire Terrier Mix, Newfoundland, Jack Russel, and a Beagle. I will always try my best to make animals feel comfortable. If they’re shy I let them warm up to me. I will care for your animals with my whole heart because I know if you care about animals like I do, your dog or cat is your baby!
