“We were so pleased with how well our dogs were treated and the updates we received. You can definitely tell Princesa and Bradley love dogs, are compassionate, and truly want to provide a loving place for pets. Their land and house is perfect. We can't wait to use them again!”

“Bandy and Chad have been fabulous with our dog Patty. She can be a nervous little dog when she's out of her normal environment and they've been so patient and loving to make her feel so at home. We are so relieved and thankful that we've found such reliable sitters with Brandy and Chad. Patty will definitely be going back and we know she'll look forward to it!”

“Tammy and John took incredible care of our Gemma. They are so sweet and kind, their love of dogs is so evident in their actions and communication. I feel so luck to have found them!”

“Mark and Marie did a wonderful job getting our old girl Sasha to feel comfortable and safe. I had never left her with anyone but family before so I was worried until our first meet and greet. She was so comfortable right from the start. The pictures they sent while we were gone showed she had a great time! We will definitely use them in the future.”

“Anna took wonderful care of Hank while our family was on vacation. She sent photos daily and had amazing communication. Hank can’t wait to go back! Thank you, Anna!”

“Fantastic experience! We highly recommend! Communication was great along with some fun photos! Thank you so much Patricia and Patrick you took such good care of our boy!”

“Alisha and Cameron took such great care of our dog Bear! He was so happy at their house. They provided lots of updates and pictures. I know he got lots of love. They have been our favorite Rover family to date!”

“Jackie and her family were so great to meet, they were all there to have the dogs meet each other and my dog who is 4 months went right over and started playing with Brownie. Jackie was very caring, asked all about Penny and her routine ahead of time, once we met and the dogs were playing I didn't worry at all about leaving her. She also sent many updates and pictures, and Penny even went in the dog pool right away. My dog slept for 2 days after coming back home, that is how much playing and fun she had!”

“We had an excellent experience with Cait and Tim! Our pup didn’t have good manners when meeting their family dog but they didn’t seem to be worried. He eventually settled in and he had a great time for his overnight. He was so tired the following day from all the activity at their house. We’d never used a service like this before. We would recommend them 100%!”

“I am so thankful to have found a sitter like Michelle to watch our dog, Obi. It was easy to see the natural love she showed in caring for Obi and she went above and beyond by giving us updates for our whole time away. I felt great knowing Obi was in a wonderful environment and I would not hesitate to book again!”

“Alexandra did a wonderful job. Very responsive to text messages and provided daily updates. Her residence has plenty of space for dogs to run and have fun. Definitely going to book with her next time we need a sitter. I felt very comfortable that our dog was in good hands.”

“Brody's first weekend with Brianna and her family was wonderful! We got lots of pics and videos (which we shared with some guests at our son's wedding - a big hit when people asked where Brody was staying!). Brody especially loves Brianna's daughter and follows her everywhere. We are so thankful we chose this family and will be using again!”

“Lisa helped us out last minute with dog sitting when our other sitter fell through and she was great!! Very responsive and even sent us pictures of Briggs. He came home a very happy pup thanks to Lisa and Dukey!!”

About: Hi, I’m Autumn! While I’m new to Rover, I am not new to dogs! Animals have been a huge part of my entire life! At 16, I started working as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic. I went on to receive my degree in veterinary technology and dedicated almost 10 years as a tech. Now, I’d love to continue caring for pets beyond the clinic! My husband and I own a 1/2 acre of acre of land in Forest Lake. We have one dog, a senior Shih Tzu named Nala! For the safety of all dogs, I do require they are comfortable being kenneled during times I am away or sleeping. Otherwise, they are free to follow me around the house or even nap on the couch! Caring for animals is my top priority, so I have the flexibility to be home with all pets for the majority of the day, every day! In our home, pets are family! We offer a large lawn to allow your pets plenty of room to exercise. Plenty of snuggles and playtime will be offered along with daily walks as requested/weather permitting. Crating is utilized for safety when pets are not directly supervised (home alone or bedtime). Any other needs? No problem! I know each and every pet has their own unique preferences and needs.
“Amy was great! She was very responsive and kept in touch the whole time we were gone. She has tremendous attention to detail and has a great set up for having dogs at her house!”

“Second time using Luke and Rachel. They are great with Daisy and seem like dog people. Daisy was well cared for, we got updates on how she was doing, they communicate well and pick up/drop off is easy. Will use again!”

The median cost per night for dog boarding in Forest Lake is $45
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Forest Lake
This is the third time Katrina has watched our two big dogs, and I honestly can't say enough good things about her. You can tell right away that she truly loves dogs, and that makes it so much easier to leave ours behind when we travel. Both of our dogs are seniors, need medications, and come with a few extra quirks. They're probably more work than most, but Katrina takes great care of them every time and treats them like they're her own. They have a great fenced yard, and our Golden loves playing with Katrina's dogs. I also love that the dogs get to make themselves at home and pick their favorite spots to sleep. As someone who worries about my dogs when I'm away, it means a lot to know they're with someone who loves dogs as much as I do. We'll definitely keep booking with Katrina!

Lisa did a great job looking after my two dogs, Ice and Minnie! The girls felt instantly comfortable at Lisa’s home and her little dog Dukey was just the sweetest host as well! A special treat was the fenced backyard where the three dogs could all run and play. The communication was superb, and I got some nice pictures of my dogs while I was away for the weekend. I will definitely ask Lisa to care for my dogs again. Thanks Lisa!!

We couldn’t be happier with the care our French Bulldog, Frenchy, received! From the moment we met, it was clear they truly love dogs and treat them like family. Frenchy felt comfortable right away, and we got great updates and photos that gave us total peace of mind while we were away.

Jennifer was an absolute lifesaver for us and an incredible dog sitter. She sent daily photo updates and detailed messages about our baby girl Reeba, which put my mind completely at ease. It's clear she has a genuine love for animals. It was such a comfort also to know Reeba was calm, and she even got extra playtime and snuggles with the kids. Reeba seemed completely relaxed and happy in the pictures Jen sent. We can't recommend Jennifer and her family enough , we will definitely be booking with her again for our future trips!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
