They were Incredibly flexible offering to meet for public pick up on our way out of town or bring her to their home based on our needs. About: Hi, I’m Autumn! While I’m new to Rover, I am not new to dogs! Animals have been a huge part of my entire life! At 16, I started working as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic. I went on to receive my degree in veterinary technology and dedicated almost 10 years as a tech. Now, I’d love to continue caring for pets beyond the clinic! My husband and I own a 1/2 acre of acre of land in Forest Lake. We have one dog, a senior Shih Tzu named Nala! For the safety of all dogs, I do require they are comfortable being kenneled during times I am away or sleeping. Otherwise, they are free to follow me around the house or even nap on the couch! Caring for animals is my top priority, so I have the flexibility to be home with all pets for the majority of the day, every day! In our home, pets are family! We offer a large lawn to allow your pets plenty of room to exercise. Plenty of snuggles and playtime will be offered along with daily walks as requested/weather permitting. Crating is utilized for safety when pets are not directly supervised (home alone or bedtime). Any other needs? No problem! I know each and every pet has their own unique preferences and needs.

“I adore Jackie, and so did our three year old cat, Benny! Jackie did all the things (changed his water, checked on his food, emptied his litter box) with excellence and care. AND she went above and beyond by feeding the chipmunks on our deck (so Benny had some entertainment to watch), by bringing in our mail and by hanging around the house and playing with him. She knew where we keep his wand toys (safely out of sight, until he’s supervised) and she brought them out to play with him. He’s a short hair, so no need to brush him, but she knew that he enjoys it, so she offered him some brushing time. She sent pictures everyday, which was great. I missed him a lot, and seeing daily pictures made me feel better knowing that Benny was having a good time. Honestly, Jackie spoiled our boy almost as much as I do! While I don’t like to leave him often, I won’t hesitate next time, because I know he’s in good hands with Jackie.”

When married and had kids, we’ve always had dogs and have cared for our dogs in every aspect, walking, bathing, grooming, vet care, etc. Currently we don’t have a pet, but our house is a perfect set up to take care of yours. Currently we are retired. We would have plenty of time to go for walks, play and relax. Our dogs in the past have used our very convenient doggy door into a fenced area for potty breaks. About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have had both cats and dogs since I was a little girl. About: We grew up with pets and we have a pet loving family. We have a German wirehair pointer dog, cat and raise rabbits for showing. We also volunteer at a local goat farm and help take care of goats. I work full time out of the home, Monday-Friday, so your dog will be kenneled while we are at work. Unless it’s summer or holiday then my schedule may be different. I will do morning walks and night walks and playtime outside after and before work. We have an unfenced large yard so your pet will be leashed for playtime. We have a nice larger private backyard so plenty of space for exercise.
