AND she went above and beyond by feeding the chipmunks on our deck (so Benny had some entertainment to watch), by bringing in our mail and by hanging around the house and playing with him. She knew where we keep his wand toys (safely out of sight, until he’s supervised) and she brought them out to play with him. He’s a short hair, so no need to brush him, but she knew that he enjoys it, so she offered him some brushing time. She sent pictures everyday, which was great. I missed him a lot, and seeing daily pictures made me feel better knowing that Benny was having a good time. Honestly, Jackie spoiled our boy almost as much as I do! We also volunteer at a local goat farm and help take care of goats. I work full time out of the home, Monday-Friday, so your dog will be kenneled while we are at work. Unless it’s summer or holiday then my schedule may be different. I will do morning walks and night walks and playtime outside after and before work. We have an unfenced large yard so your pet will be leashed for playtime. We have a nice larger private backyard so plenty of space for exercise.

I currently own an 8-year-old Siberian Husky named Storm, so I have extensive experience caring for large, energetic dogs and understanding their exercise needs. We have a large, fully fenced private backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. We also have two young children, so we only accept dogs that are friendly, gentle, and comfortable around kids. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and at home while their owners are away. Pet care is already a consistent part of my daily routine. I am a stay-at-home mom to two children, so I am home throughout the day and able to provide attention, care, and supervision for pets. Each day, we go on at least one longer walk with our dog, in addition to shorter potty breaks and outdoor time as needed. These walks are a regular part of our schedule and help ensure our 8-year-old Siberian Husky gets the exercise and stimulation he needs. We also spend time in our large fenced-in backyard, which gives additional safe space for activity and play. Because I’m home during the day, I’m able to be flexible and responsive to a dog’s needs—whether that’s extra potty breaks, attention, or adjusting activity based on energy level or weather. Overall, pet care fits very naturally into our household rhythm and is already an important part of our daily family routine. If for any reason pets are unattended, I have kennels for them to stay in. My computer is in the living room area where I can watch the dogs inside and outside the house. During the school year my kids will be at school. They are great with animals and understand how to treat animals with care and respect.
About: I’ve had pets in my life since I was a child. When married and had kids, we’ve always had dogs and have cared for our dogs in every aspect, walking, bathing, grooming, vet care, etc. Currently we don’t have a pet, but our house is a perfect set up to take care of yours. Currently we are retired. We would have plenty of time to go for walks, play and relax. Our dogs in the past have used our very convenient doggy door into a fenced area for potty breaks. About: I have been living with animals since I was born and loved them the entire time. Most of my experience is caring for cats however I have also cared for medium sized dogs, a lizard, and rats for a short period of time. I am currently in between ventures of life so have lots of time on my hands for walking and playing with your fur babies. I was responsible for his walks, food, etc. After my first dog experience, I’ve decided that animals make me so happy. I had 8-10 senior/young dogs that I took care of.
