Vet Tech Turned Sitter!
Hi, I’m Autumn! While I’m new to Rover, I am not new to dogs! Animals have been a huge part of my entire life! At 16, I started working as a kennel assistant at a veterinary clinic. I went on to receive my degree in veterinary technology and dedicated almost 10 years as a tech. Now, I’d love to continue caring for pets beyond the clinic! My husband and I own a 1/2 acre of acre of land in Forest Lake. We have one dog, a senior Shih Tzu named Nala! For the safety of all dogs, I do require they are comfortable being kenneled during times I am away or sleeping. Otherwise, they are free to follow me around the house or even nap on the couch!

I’ve known Autumn her entire life and can confidently recommend her as a pet sitter. She has had animals her whole life, worked as a veterinary technician, and helped care for my Rover clients when I was a sitter. She’s compassionate, responsible, and truly loves animals. She treats every pet like her own and always goes above and beyond to make sure they’re happy, safe, and well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her with any pet.
I highly recommend Autumn! I have a 12 year old dachshund that needs to be kept an eye on, and is a little needy. During the week Autumn had him I was sent pictures constantly! Whenever I felt worried I sent a message, and she updated me on how he was doing. It was very relieving to know my furry baby was surrounded by lots of love and cuddles! She also has experience as a vet tech, which is an amazing bonus for the pets that may need a little more care. Thank you so much Autumn!!
I have known Autumn for 10 years, we worked together at a Veterinary hospital. Her compassion for animals has no bounds, her medical knowledge includes many years working as a vet tech and going to Vet school for many years. She has a calm, caring, manor to deal with even the toughest of pets or if problems should arise. Schedule
Caring for animals is my top priority, so I have the flexibility to be home with all pets for the majority of the day, every day!

Safety, trust & environment
In our home, pets are family! We offer a large lawn to allow your pets plenty of room to exercise. Plenty of snuggles and playtime will be offered along with daily walks as requested/weather permitting. Crating is utilized for safety when pets are not directly supervised (home alone or bedtime). Any other needs? No problem! I know each and every pet has their own unique preferences and needs.

A typical day
I love tailoring activities to each pet’s personality and energy level! We can enjoy walks, fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, sniffing adventures, cuddles, playtime in the yard, training games, or simply relaxing together if that’s what they prefer.
