15. Carrie & Glenn W.
About: My husband, Glenn and I are total dog lovers just as happy hanging out at home with our own, as we are just about anything else. Seriously, we're total homebodies :) Our dog, Mookie, is such a submissive and loving terrier mix she mostly keeps to herself and gets along well with others. She was a rescue and has been trained basic manners under our care. Our home is spacious, always clean and with a yard for plenty of basking in the sun. We live on a nice street with plenty of places to explore, and a park next door. We are also very active and energetic, so for those dogs that require more exercise, we would take them for runs, throw the ball, or whatever your dog needs. Glenn has grown up with dogs his entire life, from German Shepherds to Shit-tzus. I used to volunteer with the Oregon Humane Society, and have professional experience working at a dog training studio for service dogs, where we enforced positive reinforcement methods and clicker training. Who knows? Maybe your dog will come home with a new trick up its sleeve! We aim to make sure your pup feels at home, and will stick to any routines that he/she is used to. I work from home part of the week and Glenn is a personal trainer who sees clients mostly out of the home. There is usually someone home most of the day. We also will take great care in ensuring their safety, keeping your pup on leash at all times on walks, making sure our backyard fence is fully secured, and limiting interaction with unknown dogs.
16. Ian D.
“Ian was kind enough to host Ninja for a long duration daycare and was flexible with pick-up and drop-off timing. We received VERY cute pictures as well as updates of all the fun activities that Ninja was up to during the day. We're very thankful that Ian gave us good feedback about Ninja's pickiness with regards to eating from a different bowl. Now we know to make better accommodations for our pup's future visits. Ninja came home happy and tired and went right to sleep. Thank you for being the best sitter for our Ninja boy!”
17. Megan P.
“Megan did a great job watching our pets, and they loved hanging out with her. She was attentive and sent photos to let us know how they were doing. Will definitely have her watch them again!”
18. Monica C.
“Monica was amazing! I needed a sitter for my two dogs and she was willing to accept the request the day before; she was awesome with communication and flexible since I didn't know the exact time I'd be gone. Monica took the dogs for a beautiful long walk and sent photos and videos so I could see how much fun they were having! They also enjoyed themselves in the comfortable outdoor space at her home. It was apparent she took great care of them so I highly recommend Monica and would absolutely use her again!”
19. Mely G.
About: I’ve taken care of friends’ pets but most of my pet care experience comes from my own pets. Growing up I had a small dog…along with a ferret, hamsters, gerbils, and birds. I currently have a cat that we rescued from the streets when he was a kitten. I also have a dog that I recently rescued and who wasn’t socialized very much with people. Because of that, he’s afraid of new people and new things. He LOVES other dogs and animals though! So if you want a play buddy for your dog, then my dog is the guy to call. Additionally, because of my dog’s anxiety, I have some experience taking care of special needs dogs; which takes patience. I currently work part time from home, so my schedule is pretty open to walking and/or boarding your pet. I can pet sit basically any day of the week. I have a dog who loves other dogs and is good with cats too, given that I also have a cat! I have a fenced yard and a Catio! I always supervise my dog when he’s outside just to make sure that he goes potty. I have a crate for my dog, and will be able to crate him if necessary. I also have space to crate your dog if wanted too! I am very flexible and will try my best to follow your wishes regarding your pet! If walking your dog, I am open to continue any training that you have set up or are working on.
