I was so relieved after meeting Abigail at my home and showing her all of my fur baby’s favorites. My kitty is only 10 months old so I am being a bit of a helicopter mom! Before losing him in the fall of 2023, I raised and cared for my dog, Chaps, for 12 years. It was a great 12 years, and I loved spending time training him. About: I have been responsible for dogs ever since I was 10. I have raised four different dogs from when they were puppies to elderly. I can speak their language and an act as an expert dog body language interpreter. I am gentle enough to handle small dogs and strong enough to handle 100+ lbs ones, as well. About: I’ve worked with dogs since I was a child. I’ve been exposed to large dog breeds (ex. Rottweilers & German Shepherds) as well as small dog breeds (ex. corgis & dachshund's). I am a certified dog trainer, with 9 years experience and can work in some Basic Obedience work with your dog during their stay or we can talk about some behavior modification and steps to move forward for private lessons. I currently work part time and have plenty of time and energy to work with and take care of your pup. I work with my own dogs twice a day but those sessions are very flexible. I don’t currently have a fully fenced in yard, but I have access to 5 private acres I can walk your pup on a long line. I utilize martingale collars to prevent any mishaps or escaping. I utilize positive reinforcement to connect and have clear communication with each dog I interact with.

I raised my cat, Winnie, for 20 years, and I currently have 2 pups of my own: a 13-year-old female Alaskan Klee Kai/Corgi mix and 3-year-old male Corgi, so I am familiar with senior dogs and high-energy younger pups. I am currently between work and trying to stay busy and earn some income while my son is at school. I am available after school drop-off from 8:30/9 am until 3:15 pm. If your pets are comfortable with younger children, I can do drop-ins and walks after my son is out of school and on weekends, but that can be discussed privately. I create a calm environment where your pets will feel safe. With my own senior pup and younger corgi at home, I am used to balancing different needs and energies. I will follow your directions and routines closely and watch your pets' body language to keep everyone happy and safe.
About: I have been a pet sitter for cats and dogs -- My friends tend to rely on me to take care of their furry friends while they are away! I have more experience in working with medium and smaller dogs/ cats. If you will hire me to be a sitter, I will not stay at your house, but I will make sure your furry friend is doing great! I am currently a full-time worker at a physical therapy clinic, but my evenings are free to give your pup a good walk so they can sleep through the night! If they are not looking for a long walk, I am great company and enjoy caring for your furry friend. I have guinea pigs at home, and although I am busy during the day, I find time to take care of them and make sure their enclosure is clean and livable. -- When caring for my friends' furry pets, I make sure that they are receiving what they need when I am there, leaving them as comfortable as possible, and updating my clients on what I did and how their furry friend is doing. Communication is key to my work.
