I put in my request for a 1 week house sitter with only 1 day notice… I was so anxious I wouldn’t be able to find anyone, but Abigail responded within minutes that she was available. I was so relieved after meeting Abigail at my home and showing her all of my fur baby’s favorites. My kitty is only 10 months old so I am being a bit of a helicopter mom! Before losing him in the fall of 2023, I raised and cared for my dog, Chaps, for 12 years. It was a great 12 years, and I loved spending time training him. About: I love animals and currently have one 15 lb pit terrier mix and an American short hair cat. My family is easy going on pet rules and treat animals as members of the family (no feeding from the table). We live in a pet friendly community with good lighting and many dog potty break stops and stations. Our house is 2 stories with space to put a crate in a secluded place for dogs who need quiet time. On weekends I would love to take them to dog parks (if they are comfortable with that) or on hikes (if they are people friendly). Plus I love to take and send photos! My schedule is very open. Our elderly pomeranian, who has limited mobility and decreased vision, requires extra attention and patience, and Andy provided just that. She was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous in making sure our senior pup was comfortable and happy, even going the extra mile when he wasn't eating very well. She worked with him to ensure he got the nutrition he needed, which really eased our minds. Our 1-year-old puppy also had a blast with Andrea, and we could see from the daily updates and photos she sent that both dogs were well-loved and cared for. “Lea is a dog whisperer. I boarded two older dogs and one of the dogs has dementia. She was able to get this dog to trust Lea and warm up to her. She was also able to put diapers on her as needed. The other dog who doesn’t have dementia warmed up to her too. I was very satisfied with the care both dogs received and am boarding dogs with Lea again in May.”
“Lyssette kept me updated with pictures and video my whole trip. We used her our first time using rover and she did a wonderful job and my dog was very happy when she got home. We used to take my dog to boarding places but after it made her super sick last time we decided to try out rover and I’m glad we did because it was a very good experience.”
