About: Besides caring for my childhood dog, Houston, since I was 11 years old, I formally became very involved in pet care during college. I joined an organization called 4 Paws for Ability that raises and trains service dogs for veterans and children with disabilities. I began as a sitter for the primary trainers on campus, watching their dog for a couple of hours during the day. Beginning my junior year, I began raising Red through 4 Paws, a 10 week old Golden-lab. I raised Red, while juggling class and work, until he was 1.5 years old and went off to advanced training. He now works as a facility dog at Dayton Children's Hospital. Since graduating, I remain involved with pet sitting for family and friends. I have sat my boss's daughter's cats (interesting, I know) and my aunt's puppy for a week. I love taking pictures of any and all animals, so expect photo updates often! I currently am a first year medical student here in Buffalo. Class is usually over by mid-day during most week days, making me very available for a walk or drop in visit. Furthermore, my weekends are pretty open for the time being, so I'd love to keep your pets company as a house sitter and have a relaxing (or active) weekend with them. I am very observant when it comes to things that are potentially harmful in reach of the pet. I will ensure your pet does not get into anything they shouldn't! Also, I have experience with ensuring dogs are safe in their kennel prior to leaving so your fur baby and home are safe.

“Would I book Haley again? I already have! Haley is fantastic, she went above and beyond my expectations! Haley took AMAZING care of our three senior dogs, who have special needs. One of my dogs needs to have his bladder expressed due to a spinal injury, Haley went out of her way to learn how to express his bladder and ensure his comfort. Haley gave the dogs ample outdoor time, shared photos and detailed report cards throughout the day which gave us peace of mind. You can tell when your dogs had their basic needs met vs. when they also had enrichment (play time, cuddles, etc.), my dogs clearly had enrichment with Haley taking care of them. The dogs were happy and content when we returned home, they hardly missed us! Cannot recommend Haley highly enough.”

About: I have taken care of my parents, family friends, and roommates animals since I was a teenager. I’ve house sit with cats and dogs. From hyper puppies to laid back kitty cats I am here to help. I also do house sitting with your pet, so they aren’t alone at night. I live with my roommates kitty named Nelly, I love her up and feed her whenever my roommate isn’t around. However, I cannot bring animals to my home, because I rent the property and other animals are not allowed. I would be happy to come into your home and provide care and love to your fur baby.

About: I love getting to know each individual pet’s personality and needs, and approach them with respect to make them feel comfortable and safe. I have many years of experience with animals who need insulin shots and oral medications, and experience with all ages. I will treat your pets as if they were my own! At home, I have a tripod husky and a cat who has traveled far with me. I go on miles-long walks every day… always with dog treats in my pockets :) I'm currently working from home setting my own schedule, so walking your dog would fit well into my day. If you live near me, an overnight at your place is possible as I like to give my Stormy cat her breakfast and outside grass time by mid morn. I have lots of cat toys in my house for my cat. I hope your dog has toys and if it's just a walk, then a good leash and baggies to collect poop are essential. I am all about fresh water and seeing that their space is just how they like it.

About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was 8, when I ran my own pet service. I have experience with senior pets and with puppies, as well as more difficult temperaments. I’m a full time student, part time pet caregiver. I can take care of pets pretty much any time around my classes. I have always been a pet person, and am excited to pamper your pet. I can crate train the pet and I’m able to accommodate a variety of requests. I am unfortunately unable to take care of pets in my own home, due to lease issues.

About: I grew up with at least 2 shepherds in my house at any time and learned through doing how to take care of them. I love developing a relationship with a new dog through training and play with dogs of all sizes and ages. From managing a doggy daycare/salon to my own personal care sessions (which have been requested in state and international), I value all opportunities because it allows me to learn, grow and become more confident when caring for animals. I have worked with and taught commands to dogs ranging from puppies to seniors. I have also worked with animals who had behavioral issues, medical conditions such as seizures, liver problems and diabetes. I have administered medications and proper substances when needed. I believe that maintaining a routine is essential when watching animals because their world is a little different when they aren’t with their primary care taker. With this being said, if an animal has heath condition and/or specific needs, I would appreciate that they are disclosed before sessions. It is important that each animal is treated with care and is given lots of love. It is also necessary that the family feels comfortable with individual who cares for their pet and that they can trust them. Having a routine is important so sticking to that routine essential when it comes to caring for a pet. I do not have a yard but dogs would be taken on walks everyday (rain or shine) if they were to stay with me.
