About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that caring for animals has been a lifelong passion, not just a side job. I helped raise a litter of kittens growing up, got a dog when I was 13 and have been his primary caregiver ever since, handling everything from daily walks and playtime to training and making sure he stays happy and healthy. Growing up around animals taught me that every pet has a unique personality and needs individualized attention. About: I’ve had both dogs and cats since I was 2 years old so I grew up learning to love and take care of animals! Aside from my home, I grew up around my aunt’s farm where we have anything from donkeys to chickens. It’s safe to say I’ve always been an animal lover! About: I have been able to take care of animals (dogs and cats) since age 5 as I had pets throughout my whole life. I have also briefly owned horses building the skillset of hygiene care for larger animals. I absolutely love dogs. I have had experience with small dogs all the way up to English Mastiff and Ridgeback sizes. I have been a helpful pet sitter for many family members and some friends. I absolutely love animals and plan to incorporate them into my therapeutic process with clients in the future. Please send them my way and I will give them all the love and empathy while you're away and as needed! I am a graduate student with an internship which entails the need for a daily routine. I am more flexible for weekends and holidays, and I am also willing to make other days work given enough time notice in advance. I love to be outside year-round, especially fall and winter, so I will be active with animals in snow/cold or sunshine which means walks and playing! I have three cats who have everything they need including love and grooming! I have a three-legged cat who requires more care for hygiene and grooming, so he gets lion cuts every so often. All of my cats get treats and are spoiled with love. I am flexible and willing to work around whatever is needed for safety and the environment. I would prefer to do house visits and drop-ins to feed/let outside, etc. I would need to be provided equipment like leashes, crates, food bowls, food, etc. I do not want to disrupt your pet's routine or familiarity of their own materials.
