About: I am an animal science student with a concentration in animal behavior and wellbeing. In the agricultural community, I raised and showed an award winning rabbit. Last semester, I was an animal care intern at Columbian Park Zoo. I have nearly a decade experience working in pet care. In addition, my family fosters animals. I am seeking employment in pet care to fill my spare time with a furry companion. I have a flexible schedule in the morning and evening during the week. I am available Thursday-Sunday for weekend stays. When I was in third grade, my family opened our home to foster animals. Throughout the last 11 years, we have cared for animals with parvo, double ear infections, malnourishment, etc. The foster organization trusts us to nourish these animals back to health and prepare them for their forever homes. When I visit client homes, I spend quality time with animals providing them with enrichment. I pride myself on reliability, my clients trust and depend on me to care for their beloved pets. About: I have always loved animals and have had almost every pet under the sun (fish, hermit crab, guinea-pigs, degus, horses, dogs, cats, etc.)! I have over 10 years of experience fostering from the Almost Home Humane Society taking care of puppies and cats/kittens, getting them healthier, bottle fed, up to weight, and/or socialized. I worked at Paw Prints Animal Hospital as a kennel assistant for 5 years taking care of boarded dogs and cats and the grooming facility. I also have experience administering medications (pills, liquids, ear meds, or insulin). I am now a registered dietitian living with my two cats Tux and Blu. About: I have experience with all ages. From kittens to senior cats. When in need, I am capable of providing medication if needed. I am available for last minute bookings. I am a teacher and currently off for the summer. I am available from morning until late evenings. My schedule is really flexible everyday of the week. When visiting a client, I make sure there is a clean water bowl, a bowl of fresh food if that what the client prefers and a clean litter box.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and began to work with dogs at local shelters as well as caring for dogs of friends and family from a young age. I also have experience with cats, fish, guinea pigs and am flexible to learn to care for any animal! I try to make every animal feel at home with me by doing their favorite things like playing with toys, going on walks or to the park or lots of cuddles if that is what they prefer! I have experience with some basic puppy training as well as I have house trained and socialized my own dogs from a young age. I have a full time job but work remotely and have a fairly flexible schedule. I can schedule in walks or pet care visits through the day or evenings. My pup at home is crate trained. We take lots of walks and he also enjoys running around in the fenced in yard and going to the dog park.

I am free mostly Monday through Wednesday and can make some weekends work as well! I’m able to drop in and take care of your babies or take them on walks! I am able to handle bigger dogs and I have a vehicle so I come to your house or take the pets to dog park or trails!

About: Ian and Mya have taken care of all sizes and types of dogs, including dogs with special needs and at various stages of potty training. We are former Purdue Cross Country and Track runners, and still maintain an active lifestyle, so we can go on as many walks or runs as you request. We train our labrador Sunny daily, and have received numerous feedback from friends on how well-trained she is, as well as how loved and cared for she is (she truly is our fur baby!). We like to treat other people’s pets like they are our own while they are with us, so if you are comfortable, we often like to give a complementary brush, bath, and nail trim:) Ian's schedule is flexible, working on a post-baccalaureate research project both virtually and in-person, while Mya works primarily from home as she finishes her graduate degree. We are grateful for our current flexibility to provide personalized, attentive care to Sunny, and any dog that we care for! Every morning we take Sunny out to use the bathroom first thing, and then we then quickly head inside for her to go to her "place", do a little bit of training, and then give her an "eat" command to eat her breakfast. We let breakfast settle for at least an hour while we eat and drink our coffee, before any walking for Sunny to eliminate the risk of bloat (which is a serious and prevalent issue for large dogs). While we work from home throughout the day, Sunny plays with her toys and naps. As it begins to cool off, we head out on a nice long off leash walk in the evening. We let Sunny out as needed throughout the day, and we normally spend some time walking around the Celery Bog during our work breaks, to watch the wildlife together. For dinner, we follow a similar routine as breakfast, but occasionally will use her dinner kibble for further training or rewards, such as nail trimmings, specific skill work, brushing, etc. We administer Sunny's daily medication at dinner, either on top of her food, or by safely placing the pill in the back of her mouth. After her last evening potty break, and before bed, Sunny loves to have at least 10-15 minutes of play time and focused attention for cuddling. Sunny is crate trained, but we also have a Furbo in our main living space, to ensure she is safe if we leave her to nap on the couch when we are gone. Your pup will follow a similar routine as Sunny, unless otherwise specified. We are happy to accomodate for you:)

About: I've taken care of all types of dogs and cats from all age ranges. I love animals, and I have been animal-sitting since I was around 12 years old, for about 7 years. The biggest skills I have are being able to spend extra time with the animals to make them feel loved while you are away. I am currently working part-time and attending school part-time during the summer. I am very available to take care of your animals during the morning, day, and evening. I like to spend between 15 and 30 minutes with the animals between visits to make them feel loved, so they are less stressed. I make sure they are well fed and exercised daily and are enjoying their time while you are away.

About: When I care for dogs, I enjoy being around dogs in all sizes and personalities! As well, as making sure they all receive the right amount of love and care! I’ve been around dogs all of my life and love each and every one of them unconditionally. I enjoy walking, drop in visits, and house sitting! I make sure all dogs are taken care of properly and are in the best mood they can be! My hours are very flexible and I can’t watch as many dogs as needed! About: I’ve been obsessed with animals specifically dogs for as long as I can remember. I have raised 4 of my own for 10+ years. I have a large background raising animals and I am also a pre-vet student. I work part time as a health coach, so dog walking would be a great responsibility to have during my other free time. Being a health coach, I am also active and enjoy walking. I have a large yard that my dog runs in. If any dog is only leash trained that is no problem because I enjoy walking.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, and other animals as a veterinary assistant, kennel technician for an animal shelter, and for numerous family and friends. This has given me experience with a range of animals and tasks from providing medication to cleaning litter boxes. I am a lover of all animals and would love to help care for your pet! I currently have a very flexible work schedule that allows me to do a lot from home and work shorter hours early in the morning or evening, so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pet. I am very good at following instructions and handling animals of a variety of temperaments and conditions. About: I have taken care of dogs from 8weeks old to 10 years old, and many breeds from small, Chihuahua size to big, great pyrenees. I used to foster cats, and have a cat of my own. Coworkers have even relied on me to feed outdoor animals while away, etc. I work part time, usually 5-6 days a week but gone for no more than 6 hours a day, and can go back to let out and walk on a lunch break. I am in school full time, but all my classes are online so it allows me to have complete free flexibility and not have to attend class in person. I always make sure pets are comfortable, if not more comfortable as me. Pets are a huge part of family’s. They are family members themselves. They deserve love and attention, and to be played with, and fed on a schedule, and exercise too. Also words of affirmation like “good boy” if they do something correct. And “bad boy” if wrong. I have never once hit an animal to show a sign of bad behavior, and think that is wrong.
