About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was old enough to fill a water bowl! Growing up, my mom was always rescuing animals, so I had the privilege of learning how to care for pets of all kinds. Whether it was helping with medications, being gentle with nervous rescues, or lending a hand in training, I developed a lifelong love for animals—and a knack for making them feel safe, loved, and happy. These days, I’m the go-to pet sitter for my family’s pack of five dogs, and I also care for my neighbors’ Mastiff, Golden Retriever, and their four playful cats, including a majestic Maine Coon. Sometimes, I watch their pets for longer, extended periods while they’re traveling. The dogs love hanging out at my house, where they can play in the big backyard or lounge on the couch with my toddler. The cats prefer to stay home, and I always enjoy visiting them, playing, and making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well-fed. As a full-time stay-at-home mom, my daily routine is all about balancing the needs of my toddler, my cat, and the pets I care for. I’ve always made sure that pet care is an integral part of my day—whether it’s taking the dogs for a walk, playing fetch in the yard, or simply snuggling with them during quieter moments at home. Having pets is something I truly enjoy, and I’ve found a natural flow in caring for them while managing my responsibilities at home. My toddler loves spending time with the pets, so there’s always a little playtime or pet cuddles built into our day. For dogs, walks and playtime in the yard are easy to incorporate into our routine, and I make sure that I have time set aside for them, as well as for feeding and any other specific care needs. With my cat, I’ve got feeding and playtime down to a routine that works for us all. This flexibility allows me to provide great care for your pets while maintaining a balance with my family life! When pets are in my care, I focus on creating a comfortable, safe, and enriching environment that fits their needs. In my home: For dogs, I make sure they get plenty of playtime in our big backyard, whether it’s a game of fetch, running around, or simply enjoying some outdoor time. If your dog prefers indoor relaxation, they’re welcome to hang out with my toddler on the couch or snuggle up. I can also take them for individual walks to give them some fresh air and exercise. For cats, I provide cozy spots, cat condos, and plenty of toys to keep them entertained. I love using catnip or interactive toys to engage them, and I make sure they have a quiet, comfortable space to relax in if they need some downtime. In your home: If your pet is more comfortable in their own space, I’ll follow your pet’s routine and provide the care they’re used to—whether that’s feeding, administering medication, or simply hanging out with them for company. I’ll take extra care to keep them in a familiar environment so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. Whether it's in my home or yours, I always tailor my care to fit each pet’s personality and needs, ensuring they’re happy, healthy, and loved during their time with me! For cats, we have fun with cat condos, toys, and catnip to keep them entertained and relaxed. I make sure they have quiet spaces, plenty of enrichment, and, of course, lots of treats and affection (if they’re in the mood!). Whether your pets are romping in the yard, relaxing on the couch, or hanging out with my toddler, I do my best to create a warm, safe, and happy environment.

“Kai & Zaniyah loved their walks with Teagan! My husband had a last minute business trip and I had surgery and wasn't able to give them their daily exercise. I reached out to Teagan kind of last minute and she was happy to help us out. We will definitely reach out to her again!”

“Danial was so good with our fur baby Benzene. Got to know him and give him personal attention. Took great care to keep me updated with pics and personal notes. Will definitely call on Danial again.”

“Paige is my first intro to Rover and it’s been a great experience so far. She is great with communication, offering detailed updates and is quick to respond. The care and time she gave to my pup made me feel more comfortable about (my first time) leaving her for a big stretch of time. Thanks Paige!”

“Aliyah was super sweet! She did a long walk with my pup and was great with communication every step of the way. I received lots of pictures of Lucy having a great time. I will definitely reach out for another dog walk in the future!”

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs since I was born, I have fully trained my service pup from 3 months old, I have experience training puppies and older pups, and I have plenty of experience caring for elderly dogs and cats who also have complex medical issues. I am a full-time college student with a pretty open and flexible schedule allowing me to spend plenty of time caring for my animals and those I am pet-sitting. I have my own transportation, allowing even more flexibility and taking care of any needs. I make an effort to understand the level of care that will make your pet most comfortable, whether this be overnight stays with plenty of cuddles and treats or popping for a play session, walk, and/or potty break. I take special note if there are any needs your pet has that would go out of the norm (medications, physical disabilities, etc.) and adjust my plans to ensure they get the comfort and care they need.

About: I've loved and cared for rescue dogs since I was 10. I have experience with reactive dogs, and I want to help them feel safe and have fun! I'll have plenty of flexible time for your pets as a college student with a lighter course load. My last class ends as 11:20a and then I'm free as a bird. Let me know your usual routines with your pet and I will dutifully follow all instructions! I won't invade your pet's space and will let them feel comfortable.

“Mandie was fantastic! She is a true dog person and conquered my dogs’ personality quirks. Would highly recommend her. I was truly able to enjoy my vacation with no worries!”

About: I'm an energetic playmate, I love going for long walks, I've helped train 2 service dogs, people have asked me to pet sit before, and I always make sure to pick up after every pet. I just graduated highschool, so my schedule is open to come and take your furry friend for a walk or hang out for a while. I'm available for dog walking and drop ins from 11 am - 3 pm Monday to Friday as of right now. I have lots of energy and don't mind taking your pooch for a long walk or playing with them for a while. When the heat becomes too much, I have a water bottle and bowl to keep your fur baby hydrated. And before anything else, I like to ensure I know all of your fuzzy friend's special needs.

About: I am very outdoorsy and adventurous person, and my family and I love to do activities such as skiing, mountain biking, hiking, snow shoeing, camping, and more. When we had our last dog, we would take her on all of our adventures with us and we'd always come back with a tired and happy pup! When I care for your dog, I'll make sure they are just as loved, exercised, and happy as if they were my own! I work from home 2-3 days a week. I would love to be able to help you out with your pet on these days, as well as weekends. Being home allows me to have plenty of time to care for, walk, and give potty breaks to your pup. I have a fenced backyard with plenty of room to run around. I have experience giving medication to dogs. I love going for walks, loving on your pets, and getting all the wiggles and zoomies out.

“She responded immediately when I was looking for last minute help and did more than what was asked :) I absolutely trust her with my dogs and I will look forward to using her in the future!”

About: I've been caring for animals since I was about 7 years old and lived with animals my entire life, I don't think there was a time I didn't have an animal to look after. I've taken care of many cats and dogs, whether it’s feeding, bathing, or just keeping pets company while their humans are away. I used to regularly pet-sit for friends, neighbors, and family, and I’m the proud pet parent of three quirky cats and one very spoiled dog. I treat every animal like my own, with love, patience, and plenty of playtime. This is a side-job for me on top of my full-time job, and I always try to make sure to carve out plenty of quality time for your pets. I’m fully available all day on Sundays and Mondays. On Tuesdays through Thursdays, I'm available until 3 PM or after 8 PM. Fridays, I’m free before 11 AM or after 8 PM, and Saturdays I’m available before 10 AM or after 7 PM. My schedule is super consistent. Please talk to me for any specific requests. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities, meaning I would prefer meeting your animal first with the owner available for both your animals and my safety. I always follow any care instructions and routines to the tea, whether that means administering medication, sticking to a strict feeding schedule, or just knowing their favorite napping spot. I aim to make my presence calm and comforting so your pet feels secure even when you're away. I take extra care to make sure your home stays just as you left it, and your pet gets all the love and attention they deserve.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, from too many (6) to not enough (1). Puppies, rescues, pure breeds, mutts, gigantic in stature and only in heart, and I’ve loved them all. We have a saying- not all dogs are good boys, because some are good girls. I’m a stay at home dad with kids in high school. My schedule is pretty flexible and happy to accommodate overnights, doggie day care, whatever you need. We’ve got a privacy fence, dogs and cat are in and out all day. They are part of the family, and endlessly doted upon. I dedicate time to each of our dogs to snuggle, skritch ears, and make sure they feel seen and loved each day. Did I mention I like dogs ;-)

Five Mileprairie dog parents share their Rover experiences
Aliyah did a great job walking our senior dog! She is extremely professional, great with communication and follow up. I would definitely recommend her.

We love Sara! I always know that with her, Dolly will have the best care while I’m away. She’s also incredibly responsive and navigates any changing circumstances with kindness and patience.

Nichole is really amazing, always makes sure, Colt has water before leaving. Very accommodating, professional. Would strongly recommend

I’ve used Megan many times. She has great communication, is knowledgeable about animals and cares about your pet. I have a young puppy that she’s taken on numerous walks and she has been patient and helped him learn good habits. Megan then gives me great tips on how to continue to help my pup.

Bri is amazing. I broke my ankle when my Newfoundland was 6 months old. He was one big puppy who needed a steady walker, firm and gentle. After two others, I was lucky enough to find Bri. It did not take long for Teddy to treat Bri just like he would if I was walking him. I will use her again for any care I need with him.

Anna had her hands full with my Pups. They are very clingy, so did't really want to walk with someone else knowing I was at home. Anna still tried every day, but my stubborn little girl wasn't having it. She was so patient, and tried, but with the same result. I was impressed that Anna kept trying, sometimes even carrying a pup who refused to walk. She was awesome; my pups maybe not so much :-)
