About: Hi, I'm Mandy. Although I am new to using the Rover App, I am not new to caring for dogs. I grew up on a farm and lived with dogs all my life (lab, rat terriers, blue heeler, multiple mixed breeds). I currently have two playful poodle mixes (Cookie & Nacho) and before them, I had a French Bulldog (Prince) for 14 happy years. I love all kinds of dogs. Due to the setting I offer, small to medium sized dogs will enjoy it here the best. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate special requests for boarding with enough advanced notice. I work from home, and I am home on most weekends. With two small dogs of my own, I will be around for feeding and potty breaks, and of course, play! The yard area has plenty of shade, space to relax, run or play and is fully enclosed with a tall wood fence. Dogs that stay will be allowed to roam free inside my home along with the two dogs that I have. If your dog has any special care needs, just let me know how I can accommodate. My home has all hard floors so if an accident happens, I don't get worried about that. 🙌 My 2 dogs are up to date on all typical, vet recommended vaccinations, for everyone's health and safety. One of my first experiences outside of caring for my pets was caring for my neighbor's dogs while they were away for over a week. I did this for 4-5 years each summer until I moved to college. About: We recently lost our 15 year old border collie mix, we have had dogs for many years of various ages and we love them like our own! We have experience with medications and senior care too. We are not ready for a new fur baby but would love to take care of yours. We have had many pets with various health needs soand are comfortable with giving medications. I am retired, so I am available most days. Some days I have volunteer duties but they last only a few hours, so I am around and available to spend time with your fur baby. About: I have been caring for my own Golden Retriever, Maple, for the past 1.5 years and have gained hands-on experience with training, exercise, feeding routines, and daily care. As a homeschooling mom who is home much of the day, I’m able to provide plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and affection. I enjoy staying active and love taking dogs on walks and runs when they’re comfortable with that level of exercise. My goal is to help every dog feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their family is away. As a homeschooling mom, I am home most weekdays and weekends, allowing me to provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Dogs are rarely left alone for extended periods and are included in our family’s daily routine. I can accommodate regular feeding schedules, walks, and exercise needs, and I enjoy taking active dogs on walks or runs Dogs in my care stay in a safe, fully fenced backyard area that is dedicated to pet care. Because I have a separate setup for boarding, dogs do not come into my main home. They have access to a heated 400-square-foot backyard cottage that serves as a comfortable, climate-controlled resting area. The cottage is designed for relaxation and downtime rather than free roaming. I also have a secure outdoor kennel with overhead shelter, as well as crates available for dogs that are crate-trained or prefer their own space. Throughout the day, dogs receive regular potty breaks, fresh water, meals according to their schedule, exercise, enrichment, and plenty of attention. Since dogs are not staying inside my home, I make it a priority to provide frequent walks and supervised playtime in our fenced backyard. We also have a friendly Golden Retriever, Maple, who loves making new friends and can provide companionship and playtime for dogs that enjoy being around other dogs. As a homeschooling mom, I am home much of the day, allowing me to closely supervise and care for the dogs in my charge. My goal is to provide a safe, clean, and low-stress environment where dogs receive plenty of activity, attention, and affection while following their normal routine as closely as possible.
