“My dog loved staying here. Best part was the fenced in yard and the fact that the dogs were allowed on all the furniture (bed, couch). Michaela is very nice and accommodating as well.”
“Kerrie was GREAT! She was so engaged and responsive, and treated my pup just like the rest of her family. I appreciated her specific questions around care and all of the pictures and updates she sent to me. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality sitter. 5 stars.”

“We are so lucky to have Celestia and Ryan to take care of our senior dog Fiona. Pictures were sent several times a day easing my mind. Fiona takes medicine and I am never worried about her welfare while we are away. Thank you for always taking care of our sweet girl.”

“Rosa is amazing!!!!!! This is my first time leaving my dog with a dog sitter for a week and he did so well with her. I’m so pleased that my doggy was so well cared for and will be definitely using Ms. Rosa again ?”
“Alexandra always takes such good care of Rosie! Her own dog is such a good host too. Alexandra keeps me updated with fun pictures and videos that show that client dogs settle right into her comfy home. Definitely recommend!”
“Rodger and his wife were amazing! Super relaxed and flexible, they created a loving and safe environment for my dog, who has a lot of anxieties. We got clear and consistent updates and it was evident that Franklin was happy, relaxed and at ease, which was just amazing to see. Absolutely loved their service!”

About: I have about 3 years of experience caring for dogs and have always enjoyed being around animals. My in-laws also had 10 dogs, which gave me even more experience being around different dogs and understanding their needs and personalities. I’m comfortable around dogs and enjoy giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve. I understand the importance of keeping pets safe, happy, and comfortable while their owners are away. I will treat every pet as if they were part of my own family! I work part-time as a youth secretary at my church and spend the rest of my time being a mom. My flexible schedule allows me to make time for pet care, dog walking, and giving pets the attention they deserve. I enjoy being outdoors with my kids and would love to include caring for your furry family member in my routine! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priorities! I will follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking routines, and any special needs your dog may have. I believe in providing a loving, patient, and safe environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. I will keep you updated and treat your furry family member with the same love and attention I give my own family.

“I really can't give a complete review because the Kayla's home is on a military base. The family met me off base. They were very nice and when I picked up my dog, she was happy and seemed fine. I wouldn't hesitate to use Kayla again.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 9 years old, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I grew up with the sweetest Saint Bernard and have had 5 adorable kitties over the years. I like to call myself a professional cat entertainer. In 2023, I finally got my own fur baby who is spoiled rotten and my favorite thing in the world. I pet and house sit regularly for my friends and neighbors with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even some horses. Sometimes that means staying overnight because one pup has bad separation anxiety, so I’m comfortable giving extra love and attention. Cats might be my favorite to work with but I love all cuties just the same! I’m working full time and right now, I get off work around 2:30pm. I am available for 30 minutes during the work day on my lunch break and during the afternoon/ nights. I have a large back yard and fenced in pool area for dogs with lots of room in the house for laying, playing, or exploring. I currently do not own a dog so any visiting dogs should bring with their favorite toys for extra entertainment. I am not living in a development but have plenty of walking trails in close proximity, including Big Boyd’s Tree Preserve, Front Street, Fort Hunter, and Wildwood Park. There are 3 cats living in the house who have been acclimated to dogs. We have separate rooms for visiting cats to stay with extra litter boxes, scratching posts, an abundance of toys, and a few humans to play with and love on.
About: I can remember animals in my life since i have been alive! From Moo! to woof! I love it all!! I have always wanted to work with animals. I have watched an helped friends with many. I also was an environmental understudy and go to take care of animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, rats, guinea pigs, geckos, some snakes, rabbits an more! Honestly, i feel as if since i do not have kids. Animals are my kids and i haven't met a furry friend that didn't love me! Honestly, pet care is an essential part of my day. Just with my pup alone. She needs her walks, right amount of food, stimulation and to be a pup! I currently work evening from noon to nine. I am okay with early morning walks to late at night. I work every other weekend. The weekends I am free I am willing to house sit, stop in and help you with your furry friend. i always like to met the potential pet. I like to know there normal routine, likes an dislikes, activities they like, any known allergies and i want to get a sense of how the owner wants there animal cared for. everyone has there own special routine. Keep a pets life constant can be very helpful with there growth.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
