About: There hasn't been a time in my life that hasn't had multiple pets in it. I have worked on farms and in a vet hospital and the joy of making an animal happy never goes away. I currently have 2 small dogs and 3 cats, the oldest being 20 years old. I would love the opportunity to help you care for your animals. i work remote and therefore have the ability to schedule my work around the needs of any animals I might be taking care of while their humans are away! Having a dog with behavioral issues for years taught me a great deal about how to work with and understand dogs better. Each animal is unique but I find that with enough patience and scritches you can make most tails wag.

“Dasher was happy to have a friend when I was out of town. Elizabeth is very reliable and I never hesitate to leave my cat if she’s going to be coming by.”

About: I have hands-on experience from working at a doggy daycare, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’ve also provided regular dog walking, in-home sitting, and medication support for friends and family. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a shy rescue, or a senior dog with special needs, I’m confident, patient, and ready to meet them where they’re at. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I can’t wait to meet your pet and give them the care and attention they deserve! As a nursing student studying at D’Youville University in Buffalo on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and am available every day from Monday to Sunday. With plenty of time to dedicate to pet care, I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to keep your pets comfortable and cared for while you’re away. In your home, I stick to your pet’s routine to make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home—even when you’re not. Whether it’s feeding, meds, walks, or just some good company, I’m there to give them the care and attention they’re used to. I’ll keep you updated along the way, so you always know how they’re doing. My goal? Happy tails, comfy naps, and peace of mind for you.

“Alyssa was so amazing with my fur babies. She sent daily photos and was extremely communicative. Also cleaned up behind them when they were being a bit naughty (knocked over plants lol) Ultimately, I came home to a clean litter box and extremely happy kittens. I am certain they will miss her and I intend to rebook with Alyssa in the future.”

“Rachael did an awesome job. Between quick communication and taking great care of my cat Tinkerbell at my home, I would highly recommend her. She answered any and all questions timely and sent pictures every day. Thank you Rachael!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a little girl. Growing up, my family always had at least one dog in the house, and I would usually convince them to get more! I’m always asked to pet sit by family and friends as my love for animals is known by all. Since I’ve moved into my own apartment, I’ve volunteered at the SPCA and have fostered multiple dogs! I always need to have dog interaction in my life, so since I’m not quite ready to adopt, I take care of shelter pups or other people’s dogs when they need the help! I am currently an undergraduate student at University at Buffalo. I have a fairly flexible schedule as all my classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, giving me a generous amount of free time during the remaining days of the week. I currently live in an apartment with no dog of my own, however, I grew up in a house that always had a dog. I still consider my mom’s dogs my own, and visit them quite frequently. I’m the type to sit down and spend lots of quality one on one time with a pup. I never get tired of playing and would love to go on long walks around the neighborhood. I am also a sucker for spoiling dogs with treats :)

“This was our first time using Rover, previously we have only left our animals in the care of immediate family. Ray was outstanding! The pictures that were sent each visit, documented the time we missed with Sofie. I couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention Sofie received from Ray.”

“It was so reassuring to know my dog was in such good hands while I was away! Caitlin gave detailed daily updates and was flexible around some unexpected tummy trouble. I highly recommend working with Caitlin!”

About: My first family dog came into my life when I was 6 years old, and I have loved and lived with dogs ever since. I love all shapes and sizes, and have a special fondness for the big and fluffy types. In addition to caring for my own dogs over the years, I have dog-sit for friends any time I had an opportunity. I can offer walks, backyard playtime, and snuggles on the couch (with mom or dad's permission, of course!) I know many dogs and their families have a certain routine that they don't like to deviate from, and I always do my best to keep your dogs on the schedule they're used to. I get to make my own hours for my day job, so I have lots of flexibility! I'm available mornings, weekends, some evenings, and most holidays. I come to a pet owner's home with the awareness that I am a stranger encroaching on your pet's space, and will treat your home and your fur babies with the upmost respect. I am great at following detailed instructions to a T and will adapt depending on what helps your pets feel the most comfortable.

About: I love dogs and I've been caring for large dogs for over 5 years. I love walking them and play with them. I believe dogs are human's best friends. They're the best listener when you need to talk to someone :). I would like to take care of your dog while you can't. I will make sure they're being taken good care of. I have a large fenced yard and close to a dog run. I like taking them there when the weather is nice. I will tailor your dog caring style and make sure your best friend feels like he's home. Thanks for your time, and remember to enjoy the rest of your day and you know you can have a peace of mind :)

“Ciara was super responsive and helpful when I needed a new cat sitter on really short notice! She wanted to know absolutely everything abt my cat's routine to make him as comfortable as possible while I was gone, and he loved her so much even though he's often pretty skittish around new people. I got lots of photos and detailed reports every day, she was really attentive to his behavior and making sure he was okay, and overall was just fantastic!”

About: I have taken care of my sister dog for 7 months her name was chichi. I had lots of experience with taking her to walks, making sure she used the bathroom on her walks, also bathing her. I am very playful with dogs and make sure they eat and have a clean bowl of water. I am currently working a job during the afternoon on the weekdays and the weekends but I will still be available to play with your pups on the weekdays some mornings :) I will always keep your pup in company. I love to watch over playful dogs and love to teach them new tricks. I’m a very kind and generous person and comfortable to be around with dogs.

About: I've had many years of dog and cat care in my life, but most recently, I've fostered over 50 dogs throughout the last 4 years. They've ranged from puppies to elderly, from big to small, and from scared to comfortable. We've taken pride of bringing up dogs from shelters where they were scheduled to be euthanized, rehabilitating them if necessary, and placing them in the homes of people who will love and deserve them. There are 4 people in my home but I work a part time job and run my Color Street business from home so my family has plenty of time to care for and love on your furbaby. We've also got a fully fenced in yard along with 3 pups of our own to show them the ropes, so your baby will be well cared for and well entertained (by the dogs and my 2 kids.)

About: A safe environment for your furry friends when you're away. I will ensure that your dogs receive the attention, care, and exercise they need. From playtime to walks, cuddles to feeding, I will keep your pups happy and healthy. A loving pet owner of a nine year old St. Bernard. Can administer medicine if needed. I will spend mornings and evenings with your pet(s)! I do work full time; if your home is a reasonable distance from where I work, I can drop by for lunch time potty breaks or walks. Your pet will go no more than 8-hours without me being there. As someone who travels often, I know what it feels like to worry about your pet while gone. I will abide by any house rules (even if that means they can’t sleep in the bed with me), and send lots of pictures and updates to give you a sound mind while away from your pups.

First Ward pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ciara was amazing! She left detailed descriptions of the day's that she visited and took care of our Orangies which made us Cat Parent’s very at ease on our vacation, knowing they were in good hands. She sent lots of pictures and some videos which brought us joy to see! Ciara was incredible when we did our meet & greet in person and she remembered all the little things that we mentioned to keep our babies happy while we were away. She gave them.treats, played with them each day, and set the timed feeder for their dinner each visit. Thank you so much Ciara! We will definitely rebook!! 10/10
