About: One of my biggest passions is saving animals lives through fostering. My fostering experience has provided me many skills necessary to care for animals with varying needs, including young kittens, diabetic cats, XXS chihuahuas, and XXL breed dogs. Due to my experience in healthcare, I've provided many sub-cutaneous injections for diabetes maintenance and drug responsibilities. I've handled many small rodents including mice, and am comfortable with handling and providing care for smaller pets. I've managed care for animals with severe anxiety by providing them with daily psychiatric meds, and animals needing physical support with supplements, weight loss interventions (diet foods and safe, increased exercise), as well as animals with stranger fear. As a full time professional student, my mornings are often occupied by lectures, and Tuesday/Wednesday afternoons may be partially occupied for school responsibilities. I am very flexible, and can attend to pet care duties before, in between, and after my classes. I am open to over night stays and higher-maintenance care tasks, such as providing care for animals that require behavioral or psychiatric support during their family members absence. I enjoy playing with pets, within their boundaries of comfort. I have become apt at recognizing animals mood states, so I can properly respond to fear, excitement, anxiety, pulling on the leash, and over reactivity as necessary. I enjoy taking dogs on frequent walks if that is comfortable for them, and give occasional treats to reward 'good' behavior, such as sitting or laying down on command, and waiting to be fed. I am comfortable being cuddly with animals, and being very close and physical with them, if that fits in their boundaries. In my apartment I cannot host dogs, however, there are many parks and fields right in my backyard that I can bring your dogs to that they will enjoy.

About: Hi! I'm Lee. I've cared for animals for over 20 years, including three dogs of my own, and I've been pet sitting for friends, family, and others for the past four years. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and happy while you're away. Every pet receives patience, attention, and plenty of affection. Pet sitting fits into my schedule very naturally because I have a flexible work life as a hairstylist. My days are usually built around client appointments, which allows me to open time for pet care in between services, early mornings, evenings, and sometimes full days when I’m not booked. On lighter workdays, I can take on drop-in visits, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. On slower days or weekends, I’m available for longer care or overnight stays. I plan my schedule carefully so I can give each pet my full attention, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for without rushing their time with me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure they are always safe, comfortable, and on a consistent routine. I always provide fresh, clean water throughout the day so pets stay hydrated. For feeding, I keep a structured schedule so they know what to expect—breakfast is served no later than 8:00 AM and dinner is served no later than 6:00 PM, unless the owner provides a different routine. For dogs, I always make sure they are securely on a leash or harness before they step outside. Their safety is my top priority, and I stay alert to make sure they don’t get into anything dangerous, such as trash, bones, or anything on the ground that could harm them. Inside the home, I maintain a pet-friendly environment by keeping an eye on their behavior and making sure they stay away from hazards like electrical wires or anything they could chew or swallow. I also make sure they have a safe space where they can play, relax, and move around comfortably without risk. My goal is always to create a calm, safe environment where pets feel secure, cared for, and at ease while their owners are away.

About: I've been working with animals since I was little. I've worked with all sizes of dogs and also have taken care of cats. I've watched senior pets and pets with specific health needs. I also have a formal education in animal behavior as a nice added bonus! I'm currently working part time during the summers and I'm in college the rest of the year. I have plenty of free time to watch your cats. I can do drop in/walks during the week and if you're pet is okay alone more than 4 hours I can also pet sit during the week. I can dog sit any weekend. I only do dog sitting as my home isn't suitable for boarding. I do however reliable transportation and can watch your pet at your home. I also maintain plants and some smaller reptiles/amphibians so I can help keep your house in order while you're away.

About: I have experience with seizures and strokes in dogs, am able to administer any kind of medication, and have some experience with animals struggling with anxiety. I am a graduate student just looking for some fulfilling part time work. I am available at any point during the weekdays and after October 31st on the weekends I will not be able to host any animals, but I plan on prioritizing the pet’s comfort within their own home and making sure all needs are met

“After a late cancellation by our usual dog sitter for reasons beyond her control my son suggested Rover. In doing a search I found Nina who was close to us and thankfully available. We have a 4 year old German shepherd who is somewhat protective of my wife and I as well as our home; we also have a 1 year old Golden Retriever who is exceptionally shy. During the meet and greet it took all of 2 minutes for our shepherd to walk around the house licking Nina’s hand, Nina is a natural with dogs. It took a little longer for our shy little golden girl to warm up to her but it came through time and positive attention. Nina provided us with regular updates and excellent care for our beloved pups, we couldn’t ask for any more! On our return home the house was immaculate, the dogs were happy and well cared for, Nina was a star and set the bar so high that in the future we’ll be making our vacation plans around Nina’s availability!
