About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a kid, and grew up with multiple cats and dogs around me at all times. I've always loved animals and found joy in caring for them, including walking, playing, bathing, and feeding. I have experience caring for dogs and cats from ages 0-17, including providing special routines and administering medicine. I'm currently working part-time in the area, so I will have plenty of time to meet new animals. My schedule is quite flexible at the moment, so I am available most days. For me, a pet's health and happiness take precedence, so I always treat a pet as if they were my own, giving them all the attention they deserve. Some pets can be shy, so I always try and meet them where they are comfortable.

I always go into meeting animals with a lot of patience and care depending on their temperment levels with new people. I never rush into a greeting with a pet because I want them to know they can trust me to respect the boundaries they've set and I won't force interactions. I'm very careful to respect house rules set by the pet owner and maintain a clean environment for the animals to relax in comfortably.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals for most my life. Pets have become my passion. I can administer medicine, give as many potty breaks as needed and give them all my attention and love. I do work full time at a pet store so if your booking is for the weekend I will either be able to check in frequently or even bring them with me to work. Whatever you prefer. About: Animals have always been a part of my life and family. I find a lot of joy in caring for them and appreciate the reciprocal relationship that develops with them over time. No matter what mood I’m in, my interactions with animals often leave me in a positive state of mind. I work full time, Mon-Fri from 8-4:30. Any time outside of this I am happy to work doing sitting or walking, and I’m open to staying overnight. I can be somewhat flexible with your needs. I am looking to supplement my income, but also just really enjoy having animals in my life and can’t have them in my own home. My landlord does not permit animals in the building, so I would have to come where your animals are. I can either walk a dog from your home, stop by for feedings , or house-sit as needed.

“Annalee has been such a life saver with walking my fur baby Hercules! I’ve been in tight situations where I’m asking for a walk just a few hours prior and she happily agrees which does not go unnoticed. She’s very diligent about providing photos on how the walk went, does a great lock up of my place, and is conscious of where to walk him depending on weather/other circumstances. I highly recommend her to any other owners looking for a dependable and trustworthy walker!”

About: I’m a longtime Humboldt community member (28 years), avid cyclist, and lifetime animal lover. I currently have one shelter rescue cat, Batty, who I fell in love with at the Humboldt Animal Rescue Team (HART) shelter where I volunteer every week. I have taken in many stray or abandoned dogs and cats over the course of my lifetime; always getting them their shots and a vet exam, followed up with spay/neutering, and regular vet care. I treat animals with love and kindness while being firm and consistent about behavioral expectations. I treat your pets in my care as I would my own. I can also care for birds, furry critters, some reptiles, and fish. I have always had a special affinity with cats; I’m usually the guy at the party who is in the other room playing with the cat. Pet care is all I do, so nothing interferes with the care that your pets need. Whether it’s sitting at your home or just dropping in for daily care. I can provide drop-in visits or stay at your home with your pets, not only feeding, providing fresh water, and cleaning up poop and/or litter box, but taking dogs for a walk, playtime, and providing your pets with love and attention, and assuring them that everything is ok, and that their people will be back soon. I will spend time getting to know your pets, earning their trust, and offering my friendship. I’m also available for 30-60 minute dog walks. Other than that I am very flexible! I am willing to meet your needs and if something changes i’ll do my best to accommodate if possible. When I take care of your animal I am extra careful about safety and security. Always making sure doors and exits are shut and locked, being mindful if there is a pool in the backyard, cleaning up after any mess I make… wiping down counters and sweeping up crumbs. I also am very careful to administer the right food and any medications or special needs they may have. When we are just hanging out I give them lots attention, praise, play and snuggles. Always being attentive to their needs individually.

About: Hi! I'm Rita! Thanks for looking at my profile! Need a reliable, trustworthy, and dedicated person to look after everything you love? Well look no further. I’ve loved animals as long as I can remember. When I was little, I used to bring all kinds of injured animals home asking mom to help me save them. She is one spoiled lucky girl but I have so much more love to give! I have a part time job that leaves flexibility in my work week for alternative employment opportunities. I really enjoy house/pet sitting and I have a lot of experience with great references. I want to help you and your family feel safe and secure while away from your home. Message me and we can work something out. I have lots of flexibility in my schedule to be available when is convenient for you! Message me directly and we can work something out. We have a large fenced grassy yard that is separated to the front and back. We have an extra pet room and can accommodate special requests.

“They have been watching my dog for almost a year now, both professionally, and personally. They are amazing with him! They are super understanding and patient with him. My dog is a large, very high energy, German shepherd dog and they are able to calm him down and get him on their level. He loves them so much. I don't trust many people with my dog because of how much of a handful he is, and I trust them 100% with him no matter what.”

Michael S.

“Michael is an amazing pet sitter. I rely on him every time I go out of town and need someone to watch my animals. He is caring, attentive, loving with my pets, and trustworthy. He listens to and makes sure that all my instructions (special food, medicine, etc) are taken care of with each of my animals. I trust him in my home and with the lives of my fur babies. He checks in with me regularly and gives me updates on how my animals are doing. I never feel like I have to worry when he's on the job. Michael is also good in an emergency situation. One of my cats came down with an internal infection while I was was out of town. Michael immediately noticed the different behavior of my cat and contacted me. We determined that the cat should go to the vet, and Michael took that on with no hesitation. He then got the meds, made sure she took them three times a day until I got home, and generally went over and above what I would expect of a pet sitter. I recommend Michael 100000% for any pet sitting job.”

Mackenzie W.
“Mackenzie is an amazing pet sitter! She took care of my two giant dogs - a doberman and a mastiff - for 4 days, making it possible for me to take a much needed vacation. Mackenzie's professionalism is unparalleled. She took the time to meet with me and my dogs at my home a few times before my trip so the dogs would get to know her. While on my trip, she was kind enough to send pictures of my fur babies, which further put my mind at ease. There is no one else I trust more with my dogs than Mackenzie. I recommend her to my friends and colleagues all the time and am happy to recommend her here as well!”

Marlen R.

“Marlen is simply the best!”

Julia S.
“Julia is the best!! She’s loving, gentle, and patient with our 2 senior dogs and two 3 year old cats. Julia has stayed many times at our home for days and weeks at a time. Our animals love her as much as she loves them. Julia is very conscientious, clean, neat and dependable Highly recommend.”

Rita K.
“Rita has taken great care of our dog, Roo on many occasions. She is one of the few people I can trust to be in our home when we are away and spend as much time and attention on my dog as I would. She has a very calm and in control way about her that animals seem to recognize and instantly respect. I would recommend Rita to anyone as a trustworthy and attentive dog sitter.”
