“Sarah and her husband Matt we’re awesome doggy daycare for Libra! They sent pictures and gave me updates throughout the day. They’re very welcoming and I felt my dog was safe and happy while she was there. I would use her again and highly recommend you do too!”

“Our Dog lucked out by getting to hang with Robin and her family for a few hours during the holiday week. Robins dog Zuko is adorable and welcomed Maggie to share her couch - the ultimate compliment . Robin responds to messages quickly and sent great photos during Maggie’s visit. I highly recommend Robin !”

“Fatima has watched our shepherd mix Millie several times and has always taken really good care of her. She takes her on walks, and Millie loves playing with Harper. A worn out high energy dog is such a good thing for us. We will be using her as needed in the future, for sure.”

About: Spa Le Chien is specially tailored to your dog's needs while you are away from OR visiting California's Wine Country. I strive to make the experience unforgettable for your precious family member. I have been pampering pooches in my well-appointed modular house, located in a bucolic 55+ senior park in the charming village of Sonoma, for almost fifteen years. As a rule I only care for a single K9 at a time, so I can give it my full, undivided attention. There may occasionally be overlap between clients but rarely more than a single day or night. Safety is my first priority. Cleanliness, exercise, feeding and entertainment are our focus. I tend to work with small, older dogs and have helped elderly and infirm ones, too. But I am open to all types. I consult thoroughly with owners about their requirements before embarking on any regimen. I have never had a dissatisfied client...dogs love it here!
“Lauren has been great with Louie, who can be a bit challenging because he’s a big and rambunctious puppy. She’s been spending a lot of time with him at the dog park, and he comes home happy and tired. Louie now gets excited to see her. Definitely recommend.”
“Jeremy and Jordan have a great house to host dogs and an amazing yard. Their pets are happy characters and they have a great vibe going. We already booked our next stay. Thank you!”

“First time we sent our dog to a sitter for the day and I think it went really well. Shayla and Jacob were welcoming and had lots of dog friendly areas. We would feel great about leaving our dog with them again.”

“Ellen was great. She took great care of our pup and was very easy going. She even had some advice for activities in town that were really great. We will definitely see her again next time we are in town.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and have boarded and pet sat for the past 15 years. I love caring for dogs and ensuring they are not just safe, but happy! I work from home and am a regular at the Sonoma Regional Park and local dog parks. I’m a dog person, so almost everything I do is focused around that. I have a fenced yard and a doggie door. The safety and comfort of my very friendly dog Rain and your fur baby’s is the center of my home. I frequent the dog parks and go on dog-friendly adventures. My SUV is set up for safe transport.
“Lauren and Kari did a great job watching my dog, Waffles! They were very communicative, and he had a fun, active day playing with them and their dog. I would definitely recommend them to watch your pet!”

About: I’m an animal communicator working in Sonoma, Calif. All details, such as price, are negotiable. Dogs and cats sense my calm and playful heart. They enjoy being near me. I will feed, love and exercise your pet. House sitting for all sorts of animals, cats, dogs, chickens, goats, horses, pigs, sheep... Experienced with administering medication in older pets. Began walking dogs professionally while in college because I couldn't keep a dog of my own. Took care of cats and yards for neighbors at 13 years of age. My own pets have been: cats, dogs, rat, chinchilla, rabbits, pigeon, pig, chickens, ducks, lizards, snakes, toads, fish. As a teen, I wanted to become a veterinarian. My petsits have been in many places including Sacramento, Kenwood, Sonoma, Sebastopol, Colorado, Costa Rica, Peru, Ireland, Spain, France. Looking forward to helping you and your beloved animals. Thanks, Cathleen My lifestyle allows for flexibility in my schedule. Sometimes I work as a catering chef or substitute teacher in Sonoma County, Calif. Other times I am cooking for my elderly mother and at my Coquille studio/gallery. I’m semi-retired and enjoy occasional substitute teaching jobs while I pet sit, but only if your pet can be alone for 6 hours. Otherwise I can work on my own projects at your home. My home fluctuates between Sonoma County, California and Coquille, Oregon. In your home I do as you do. If your pets’ care allows, I may substitute teach at Analy High School or Sonoma Valley Unified School District. Otherwise I’ll do work in your kitchen, yard or at a desk on my iPad.
About: Need someone who will make your dog feel just as happy and content as they would while being in their own home with their pet human? That's what my goal is when your dog is in my care. I provide a clean loving home environment. I make sure their day is both enriching and structured so they feel calm, confident, and emotionally balanced. For Drop Ins I am able to care for many types of animals. I grew up with chickens, rabbits, cats, birds, hamsters, mice, fish and of course dogs. I am very responsible and efficient. I prefer to meet and chat with each client before to get all the important information that I will need and to know before hand. I will take photos to give updates so that you can feel good knowing things are going well. I am new to Rover but I have been caring for all varieties of animals for my entire life. Both my own and for others. I am home full time and can give my full attention to your pet, whether it's in my home or yours. I go with the flow with how your dog or cat is feeling. Feeling like sitting and having extra cuddles? No problem! Feeling like wanting to immediately go outside and play right away? Let's go! I strive to balance your pets well-being with physical exercise and mental stimulation during playtime. It's important to me that they feel safe and happy while you are away. If for any reason I were to feel they didn't and seemed stressed, I would let you know. In my home I am not able to care for dogs that are: * Incessant barkers * Not trained to potty only outside * Not leash trained * Not on oral flea medication
About: We have both grown up with dogs, having trained puppies into adulthood, and having senior dogs. We were so excited when we got our fur baby Sugar together last year! We call her our dog-ter and she makes us laugh every day! We did a lot of training with Napa Humane for support through puppyhood and learned so much! We love dogs and we will treat yours as our own. It would be our pleasure to watch your fur baby while you wine taste! We’ve lived in Napa for four years and can also provide recommendations about our favorite spots! We both work from home so your pup will get plenty of attention! We will only book services when one of us is working from home. And your dog will always have entertainment with Sugar. Our house is dog-friendly! We have a fenced in yard and live very close to the park. We joke this is Sugar‘s house. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and we have many dog beds around.
“Steven hosted my dog over for doggy day care when I received a last minute cancellation from another sitter. All worked out great. Steven had prompt communication, understood dog behavior and needs, followed through on my requests on how to care for my dog. Perfect experience, highly recommend! My dog will be back!”

“Heather and Calob are so awesome! I’m so glad to have found them to watch our two pups. They are so flexible, responsive and easy to coordinate with. They were great about sending photos too. And our pups sure loved them. Looking forward many more stays in the future!”

Fetters Hot Springs-Agua Caliente dog parents share their Rover experiences
Zach was extremely accommodating, moving his schedule around to help take care of our puppy, Nix, on short notice. He and his dog, Rusty, were friendly and welcomed Nix to make her feel at home right away. Nix and Rusty were two peas in a pod and had a fun day together at the park. We would definitely entrust Zach with taking care of our dog any time!

Robin's doggy daycare was perfect for our 2-year-old Golden Doodle. She provides a safe home environment and supervised play for the dogs. He had not been to a doggy daycare before this, so I was unsure if he would be anxious. But he settled in right away. We will definitely leave him with Robin again.
