About: Spa Le Chien is specially tailored to your dog's needs while you are away from OR visiting California's Wine Country. I strive to make the experience unforgettable for your precious family member. I have been pampering pooches in my well-appointed modular house, located in a bucolic 55+ senior park in the charming village of Sonoma, for almost fifteen years. As a rule I only care for a single K9 at a time, so I can give it my full, undivided attention. There may occasionally be overlap between clients but rarely more than a single day or night. Safety is my first priority. Cleanliness, exercise, feeding and entertainment are our focus. I tend to work with small, older dogs and have helped elderly and infirm ones, too. But I am open to all types. I consult thoroughly with owners about their requirements before embarking on any regimen. I have never had a dissatisfied client...dogs love it here!

About: I have been a dog owner and animal lover my whole life! I am loving, compassionate, trustworthy and responsible. Your pets will receive a lot of attention, playtime and love from me! They will be treated as one of the family. I have raised my own puppies and cared for my senior dogs. I have fostered dogs for Norcal Golden Retreiver Rescue (where I rescued one of my dogs) and I have also volunteered at Pets In Need for both dogs and cats. Many friends call on me to help walk, feed and pet/housesit for them when they go out of town. Over the last 7 years, I have worked as a Personal Assistant/Home Manager for many high level executives and have cared for their homes and pets. I have over 30 years experience with cats as well. I raised my own kittens and would be happy to care for yours as well! Sadly, I lost my 12 year old Golden Retriever, Jax, in October 2024, so I have a lot of extra love to give. I'm currently home working on small personal projects and available most weekdays, so I am very flexible and have plenty of time to care for and play with your pet or pets! I'm available most weekdays and some weekends as well. I have a safe, fenced in yard. We live on a quiet cul-de-sac and live in a very dog-friendly, loving home. All pets are treated like family :) Your pet's safety and happiness are very important to me.

About: With 6+ years of experience, I offer loving care, including puppy training, senior dog support, medication administration, and active playtime. Your pet’s well-being is my priority! I am currently working part time and on summer break. I am flexible and also have a dog named Lola who also needs a friend! I have a fenced yard and a very lovely friendly dog. Your dog will be safe and will have the top care in my home.

Annette G.
“Oh my God, you guys, Annette is, like, the ultimate dog whisperer. Seriously. My beagle, Frances? Total nervous wreck. Think, like, first date-level anxiety but all the time. He’s super sensitive, super picky, and not exactly what you’d call “a people person.” But Annette? She walks in, and suddenly, it’s like she’s some kind of dog goddess. She didn’t force anything. She gave him space, let him come to her, and honestly, I think she has, like, psychic powers or something, because she just knew what he needed before he even did. And let me tell you, Frances does not warm up to people easily. But now? He actually gets excited to see her. Excited! So, if you want someone who will treat your dog like the VIP they are and let’s be real, they totally deserve it, Annette is your girl. THANKS ANNETTE!”

Angela R.
“Angela did a great job taking care of our pup! She house sit for us for 4 nights while we went out town. She took really good care of our fur baby with walks and meals. He was very happy and has a new best friend. The house looked exactly like it did when we left and she took the trash to the curb to make sure we didn’t miss trash pickup day. We’ll definitely ask Angela to come back.”

Margaret T.
“I am thrilled to recommend my dear friend Megan for a dog walking position. I have had the pleasure of knowing her for over 30 years. We met in middle school. In that time, she has consistently shown herself to be caring, compassionate, and deeply reliable—a true friend. Her love for animals is clear in the gentle and caring way she interacts with them. Whether it's offering comfort, ensuring safety, or simply adding joy to a pet's day, she consistently goes above and beyond, just like she does with her friendships. She’s the kind of person you can trust completely—with your pet and your peace of mind. I genuinely believe Megan would make an excellent addition to any dog walking service, and any pet in her care will be in the best hands.”

“KK is exceptional with animals. She is attentive and loving and would make any pet happy to have her as a special "auntie" when parents can't be with their furry children. I highly recommend her.”

Marcus T.
“Marcus T. is the best! When you leave your dog with him you never have to worry about anything. Your dog will have lots of walks, grooming, and the run of the house. The most important thing for me is peace of mind and you will certainly have that with Marcus. My daughter recently rescued a dog and she will be driving from Sacramento to Sonoma just to leave her dog with Marcus when she travels.”

Julie L.
“If I needed a pet sitter, I cannot imagine having anyone I would choose other than Julie! She is by far one of the most conscientious pet owners I know - and I have no doubt she would care for my dogs in the same way she does her own. Julie has always been extremely good about making sure her Golden gets daily walks .. being aware of his needs, she takes special care to make sure their walks are easy and fun for him - I know she would do the same for any dogs who were her responsibility! I would trust her to take care of mine, take them on walks, or keep them on a sleepover! She is dog savvy enough to be aware of their surroundings and make sure they are always safe. She takes the care of her pets as seriously as she did the great care of her children! :)”

Jazmin C.
“We were so lucky to have Jazmin as our pet and house sitter! She was incredibly responsible, caring, and fun—our pets absolutely adored her. She kept everything spotless and made sure our pets were loved, active, and happy. Jazmin sent us thoughtful updates that gave us so much peace of mind. Truly one of a kind—we’d have her back in a heartbeat!”

El Verano dog parents share their Rover experiences
Evan was very easy to work with setting up a doggy day care as well as a future overnight stay. This was our first time using Rover and we are very pleased with our puppy in Evan's care. Thank you Evan!

Robin's doggy daycare was perfect for our 2-year-old Golden Doodle. She provides a safe home environment and supervised play for the dogs. He had not been to a doggy daycare before this, so I was unsure if he would be anxious. But he settled in right away. We will definitely leave him with Robin again.
