I work flexible part time during weekdays and have plenty of time after 2 pm for pet care. I am available most weekends as well! About: Hi! My name is Merrily, and I am a student at UNC! I have been an animal lover my whole life, growing up with two dogs and a cat! My dogs were a sweet boxer and a lively pug, so I have experience with both big and small dogs! I especially loved to take my boxer on long walks and runs, and cuddled and played with my pug. From taking care of my dogs throughout teenage hood, I gained valuable experience with senior care, administering oral and topical medication daily, dental care, bathes, and basic grooming. I also have dog and cat sat for family friends and neighbors numerous times, with duties ranging from senior care with a lab dog, to taking care (and easing) an anxious corgi. My favorite aspect of pet-setting is of course snuggles! I want to provide affection and comfort just as pets provide me with affection and comfort! I also thoroughly enjoy playtime and walks!🩷🐾 I am a full-time college student at UNC with much free time over summer break! I live in the heart of Chapel Hill and have a car, allowing for flexible and punctual care. I make sure to not only keep up with pets but with the client's home too. When caring for your furry friend and home, fulfilling your needs is my main goal!

About: I've always loved animals, and several dogs have "owned" me over the years. I lost my bestest girl about 2 years ago and I still mourn her. Now that I'm retiring, I can't think of a better way to spend my time than helping care for your furry family members. I have experience with senior dogs, as well as giving meds. I've watched pets for friends and family for years. I'm currently retired and only working for a few hours on Tuesdays - and am home by 1:00 on Tuesdays, so I'm able to give long walks and snuggles. I'm able to stay in your home any day of the week. I live alone so your pet/s will have all my attention. I live in an apartment and will walk your pup several times a day with at least one long (@2 miles) walk if weather and their health allows. I allow pets on the furniture and on the bed if they are used to that. I'm happy to send update pics during the day. I admit that I have lots for my favorite pet friends, but I don't often do selfies, so the pics on here show pets that I've cared for doing activities, but don't include me.

About: Between us, we have raised 4 dogs, trained 3 of them from when they were puppies, and cared for over a dozen. We also have raised an orange cat who is as well-trained as a cat can be. We are a pair of teachers on summer break, so we have some flexibility during the day for dog walking or drop-in visits. We can do weekdays and weekends. We have experience meeting all kinds of pet needs! Anxious dogs, finicky eaters, crate training, leash training, high energy dogs, flighty cats, etc. etc. We can walk, play with, feed, provide water, brush, and whatever else your pet needs.

Her schedule is flexible and largely adaptable to her furry clients' needs, including ones that pop up last-minute (so never be shy to ask!). In clients' homes, Isabella treats both the pet and their safe space with as much respect as she'd hope for herself. Ensuring lockboxes are properly secured, fences closed, and individual pet needs are met is essential. It's equally essential for pet owners to know that the extra step is being taken to keep your pet safe and cared for, so regular communication and photos are standard on every service.

“We lucked out scoring Savannah’s availability last minute to care for our two senior dogs and energetic doodle puppy. She was always prompt in her communication and arrival times, made best friends with the pups immediately, and asked great questions in order to best understand their routine. She provided detailed communication regarding her visits including unsolicited confirmation of instructions being understood and followed (so reassuring!), always with the most adorable photos of all the fun they’d had. Oral meds for our senior dogs were no problem, as she’s knowledgeable and experienced in all kinds of animal care—so much so that she was even able to give wellness updates on my backyard chickens! Highly recommend, and will absolutely be seeking Savannah’s services again the next time we need care for our diverse group of pets!”

About: Something that sets me apart from other dog sitters is that I am able to take care of multiple kids and animals at the same time. The first job I had I took care of a pitbull, took care of the house, and children all at once. My one main love is animals. I love taking care of them no matter what. I believe they deserve a loving and caring environment when their owners are out and about. I love taking them on walks, playing with them, picking up after them, brushing them, and more! Pet care fits into my daily schedule well. I absolutely would drop anything to take care of an animal. My only conflict is that on Tuesdays and Thursdays I will be taking classes for my college. For me, I always make sure to get the pet some sort of exercise during the day or the period of me being at the house. Such as, playing around or walking. I make sure the pet uses the restroom at least once while I'm there and I always make sure to pick up after them. If they are scheduled to be fed, I will feed them the correct amount of food instructed. Whatever the client asks me to do, I will make sure to do it before I leave after my shift.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and pet sat for family and friends dogs through middle school and high school. During college and a little after I fostered puppies and dogs who needed special attention. I have a two year old miniature dachshund. I work four 12 hour on call shifts. The days I work change on a week to week basis so feel free to message me to see if i’m available that day/time. I give each dog the care and attention they need and deserve. I take my dogs on walks and my little dog loves to play fetch and go swimming. I have experience giving dogs medication from my time fostering puppies in college.
