“Sharon put us at ease from the second she arrived at our place, and she took such excellent care of our little pack. She's a true professional and I can't recommend her enough.”

“Mackenzie was an attentive and caring cat sitter while we were away. She clearly loves giving attention to the pets she visits. Her pictures depicted our kitty and her personality. Mackenzie followed all our directions and contacted us if there were questions. We would be happy to have her cat-sit again!”

“Aspen did an amazing job taking care of our cat while we were on vacation! She was reliable, attentive, and went above and beyond by bringing in our packages and taking out the trash. “I was looking for someone used to big active dogs and Samatha was wonderful. My pup took to her and she knew how to make my puppy happy. She’s on time, sent pictures and totally trust worthy. I will use again and again. Thank you Samatha and Rover.”

About: I have many years of experience caring for cats, dogs, horses, chickens and the like. I am a dedicated animal lover excited about the chance to get to know your furry family members personality and provide them with excellent care. I work flexible part time during weekdays and have plenty of time after 2 pm for pet care. I am available most weekends as well! I will always get to know your animals routine and provide the care I would expect for my own critters. Their comfort and safety is top priority and I will do whatever is needed to accomplish that and give the owner peace of mind.

About: Hi! My name is Merrily, and I am a student at UNC! I have been an animal lover my whole life, growing up with two dogs and a cat! My dogs were a sweet boxer and a lively pug, so I have experience with both big and small dogs! I especially loved to take my boxer on long walks and runs, and cuddled and played with my pug. From taking care of my dogs throughout teenage hood, I gained valuable experience with senior care, administering oral and topical medication daily, dental care, bathes, and basic grooming. I also have dog and cat sat for family friends and neighbors numerous times, with duties ranging from senior care with a lab dog, to taking care (and easing) an anxious corgi. My favorite aspect of pet-setting is of course snuggles! I want to provide affection and comfort just as pets provide me with affection and comfort! I also thoroughly enjoy playtime and walks!🩷🐾 I am a full-time college student at UNC with much free time over summer break! I live in the heart of Chapel Hill and have a car, allowing for flexible and punctual care. I make sure to not only keep up with pets but with the client's home too. When caring for your furry friend and home, fulfilling your needs is my main goal!

About: I've always loved animals, and several dogs have "owned" me over the years. I lost my bestest girl about 2 years ago and I still mourn her. Now that I'm retiring, I can't think of a better way to spend my time than helping care for your furry family members. I have experience with senior dogs, as well as giving meds. I've watched pets for friends and family for years. I'm currently retired and only working for a few hours on Tuesdays - and am home by 1:00 on Tuesdays, so I'm able to give long walks and snuggles. I'm able to stay in your home any day of the week. I live alone so your pet/s will have all my attention. I live in an apartment and will walk your pup several times a day with at least one long (@2 miles) walk if weather and their health allows. I allow pets on the furniture and on the bed if they are used to that. I'm happy to send update pics during the day. I admit that I have lots for my favorite pet friends, but I don't often do selfies, so the pics on here show pets that I've cared for doing activities, but don't include me.

About: I’ve had dogs all of my life. I was also a canine officer for several years and am a certified trainer. I’ve worked with multi purpose working dogs (shepherds) to single purpose explosive dogs (labs). I have experience caring and training dogs. I will care for your dog like it’s my own. I understand how they are a part of your family and will care for them as such. Please reach out if you have any questions. Looking forward to helping you with your pups! I am currently not working at the moment. I have plenty of time to take care of your pets needs. Whether that’s several walks throughout the day or some play time to get them their much needed exercise. With my personal dogs I get them exercise/training in the morning and then later in the afternoon before it gets too hot. This way they burn their energy. This is an every day thing for me and I thoroughly enjoy it. Whether your pet is staying at my home or I’m sitting in yours, they’ll be treated like family. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where your dog can relax, play, and feel safe. With years of hands-on experience, I tailor my care to each pet’s personality, routine, and needs—whether that means long walks, playtime, medication, or just lots of snuggles. Daily updates, photos, and open communication ensure you always know how your furry friend is doing. I treat every pet with the same love and respect I give my own—because peace of mind for you and comfort for your pet are my top priorities.

We have experience meeting all kinds of pet needs! Anxious dogs, finicky eaters, crate training, leash training, high energy dogs, flighty cats, etc. etc. We can walk, play with, feed, provide water, brush, and whatever else your pet needs.

About: I have extensive pet care experience, mainly with dogs, but cats also. I have experience caring for special needs dogs. I would love to care for your pet while you are away! I am a music teacher currently on summer break, so I can be available at any time of the day any day of the week! Before caring for your pet, I will ensure we are in communication about your expectations. I want to keep your mind at ease while you are away from your pet, so you know they are safe and happy,

About: Isabella is an independent contractor for the local "Walk & Wag" pet services company, in addition to having her own freelance clientele with Rover. Background check & driving record approved! P.S.: Her pet pictures tend to be with one hand holding the phone and the other a leash (or 3!). While she's not always able to fit in the frame, she's smiling behind the camera. ___________ Isabella has lived in the RDU area for most of her life and has been caring for neighbors’ pets since she was old enough to fill a water bowl and walk her own West Highland White Terrier, Bonnie. Isabella regularly volunteers with Orange County Animal Services’ Dog Day Out Program and previously fostered a wide variety of dog breeds while living in Washington, DC. She finds great joy in caring for Chapel Hill’s beloved pets and being part of the local community. In her free time, Isabella enjoys hiking, backpacking, browsing local bookstores, and spending time with friends. She also speaks fluent French and conversational Russian and Spanish. Isabella earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from American University and a Master’s degree in International Security from the Paris Institute of Political Studies. Now back in Chapel Hill, she's working remotely & thrilled to be surrounded by trees – and animals – once again. Her schedule is flexible and largely adaptable to her furry clients' needs, including ones that pop up last-minute (so never be shy to ask!). In clients' homes, Isabella treats both the pet and their safe space with as much respect as she'd hope for herself. Ensuring lockboxes are properly secured, fences closed, and individual pet needs are met is essential. It's equally essential for pet owners to know that the extra step is being taken to keep your pet safe and cared for, so regular communication and photos are standard on every service.

“We lucked out scoring Savannah’s availability last minute to care for our two senior dogs and energetic doodle puppy. She was always prompt in her communication and arrival times, made best friends with the pups immediately, and asked great questions in order to best understand their routine. She provided detailed communication regarding her visits including unsolicited confirmation of instructions being understood and followed (so reassuring!), always with the most adorable photos of all the fun they’d had. Oral meds for our senior dogs were no problem, as she’s knowledgeable and experienced in all kinds of animal care—so much so that she was even able to give wellness updates on my backyard chickens! Highly recommend, and will absolutely be seeking Savannah’s services again the next time we need care for our diverse group of pets!”

“Lyn was amazing! We needed someone last minute for our special needs dog and didn’t even hesitate. She took great care of our pet and respected our house and property. Our dog loved her and we are excited about having her as an option to sit for us in the future.”

About: Something that sets me apart from other dog sitters is that I am able to take care of multiple kids and animals at the same time. The first job I had I took care of a pitbull, took care of the house, and children all at once. My one main love is animals. I love taking care of them no matter what. I believe they deserve a loving and caring environment when their owners are out and about. I love taking them on walks, playing with them, picking up after them, brushing them, and more! Pet care fits into my daily schedule well. I absolutely would drop anything to take care of an animal. My only conflict is that on Tuesdays and Thursdays I will be taking classes for my college. For me, I always make sure to get the pet some sort of exercise during the day or the period of me being at the house. Such as, playing around or walking. I make sure the pet uses the restroom at least once while I'm there and I always make sure to pick up after them. If they are scheduled to be fed, I will feed them the correct amount of food instructed. Whatever the client asks me to do, I will make sure to do it before I leave after my shift.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and pet sat for family and friends dogs through middle school and high school. During college and a little after I fostered puppies and dogs who needed special attention. I have a two year old miniature dachshund. I work four 12 hour on call shifts. The days I work change on a week to week basis so feel free to message me to see if i’m available that day/time. I give each dog the care and attention they need and deserve. I take my dogs on walks and my little dog loves to play fetch and go swimming. I have experience giving dogs medication from my time fostering puppies in college.

Robert & Daniel W.
“Robbie cared for my dog several times over the course of 2 years. He's fantastic with dogs and making sure they are well taken care of. He always made sure to follow the routine I had and if there were any special instructions I left, they were always done. He's a sweet person, kind, but not afraid to discipline a dog. My dog was always sad to leave Robbie and always excited every time she got to see him next. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a dog walker or even a dog sitter!”

Elizabeth B.
“Elizabeth has taken care of our dog many times. He has brain damage and is very restricted physically and mentally. He needs a lot of extra special care. I have always trusted her to love him and give him what he needs. She is always very reliable and always does a great job. We have to mix his food with water which is very messy and she cleans everything up and leaves it just as she found it. He cannot go up or down stairs and she is very happy to help him with his all of his limitations. I could go on about how great she is but I would run out of room. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable pet sitter!”

Cherie L.

“Great communication and very kind! Sent lots of pics and made sure I knew my dog was taken good care of!”
