“We hired Megan for a nine night in-home dogsitting job. She truly went above and beyond and we came home to find our pups safe and well cared for. She took it upon herself to create handmade gifts for both dogs and my two children just because that’s the kind of person she is. Would highly recommend and we would be thrilled to re-book in the future!”

About: I've been the go-to sitter for my family for years because they know how much I love to be around animals. I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have two cats who are my whole heart, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust to care for you furry family when you are away. I am a freelance artist and am usually doing various creative projects in the Pittsburgh area. Which gives me a very flexible schedule to focus on pet care. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in, or overnight care, I can usually accommodate short notice and regular routines. I'm happy to work with your pets specific schedule to keep things consistent and stress free. I provide most of my care in the client’s home to keep pets comfortable in their own environment and maintain their usual routine. Whether it’s walking, drop-ins, or overnight stays, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved. In my own home, I can only accommodate small dogs who are cat-friendly, since I have two cats of my own. Their well-being and yours are always my top priority.

“Katie was FABULOUS! Would highly recommend to anyone I know that’s in search of a dog sitter. All my pup wants is snuggles and human affection and it was such a relief knowing he received exactly that while we were away.”

“Our 13 and 14 y/o high-maintenance kitties were so delighted with Kristie's care. They took to her right away which is definitely not common. About: I am a 6 cat and 1 dog daddy who would love to help you out with your pets in your time of need. I do a lot of rescue work so I am familiar with all breeds of dogs and cats. I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I am a HUGE animal lover (well except maybe snakes and spiders but I still won't kill them) and am willing to work out a way that I can help you out with your pet(s). I have a very flexible work schedule as I share a job with my mom. So I can easily work around any schedule to make things happen. I currently have 6 cats and a recent foster fail dog (He was such a good boy he isn't going anywhere) and would like to help take care of your animals when needed. I am a pet lover, always have been. I do a lot of rescue (hence where my recent dog came from. We were doing a transportation rescue for a Boston Terrier from South Carolina and my pup was an add on the day of transport) and am comfortable with all breeds of dogs and cats. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
