“She was super nice and friendly, dogs took an immediate liking to her which is crazy because Shanks barks at anyone new. They had a blast staying with her for the limited time they did”

“If you are looking for someone to watch your pup, for whatever reason, look no further!!! Liliana is an absolute ANGEL!! Tanner goes to her about 4 times a week and to be honest, when I don’t have to work and he doesn’t have to go to her house, I sometimes feel bad lol because he LOVES going to see her!! Haha once we turn down her street, he is EXCITED!!! And that just warms my heart…can’t put a price tag on relief from knowing my boy is well taken care of and has the time of his life when he’s there!! Book with Liliana!! You won’t be disappointed!!”

“My dog absolutely loves going to Diamond for day care. Zero is her new bestie and they have a great, safe time together. Diamond is a miracle worker with dispensing meds, as well as behavioral training. The daily report with the pictures are the highlight of my day. I appreciate how attentive, patient, and kind Diamond is. I’m grateful to have found her.”

“Emillie took the best of care with Prince yet again. He had a blast with his best buddies (her two Goldens), and came home tired and happy. I'm grateful to have Emillie to give Prince the attention and exercise he needs when I have a crazy day of appointments! Instead of a stressful situation, I get a good dog that's snuggly after I've had hard day :)”

“This was our first time leaving Wally in daycare, and we had a wonderful experience. Tracy welcomed him into her home and made us feel completely at ease. We really appreciated the frequent photos and videos throughout the day, which gave us great peace of mind. There were other dogs in the home, and it was clear that care was taken to thoughtfully separate dogs when needed. Wally had a great time and came home happy and completely exhausted — he’s been sound asleep ever since. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend.”

“Our dog Tucker has a bit of anxiety, but after our meet and greet, we felt comfortable leaving him with Rachel, Bubbles, and Ruby. He had an awesome day, we got lots of pics of him making friends, and his stay at Rachel’s was perfect. She knew just how to deal with his insecurities. We will definitely be booking with her again and we appreciate how she is available often and doesn’t have days blocked out of her calendar like some of the other sitters we looked at.”
About: Ever since I can remember I have always had the most love for pets! Whether they are small or large my love for pets are untouchable. My mom was the biggest influence in me taking care of pets, from reptiles, rodents, birds, amphibians, and mammals. So yes, you can say i have a wide range of experience! With 5 years of experience i would love to be apart of taking care of your furbabies! I take care of pets all morning and night! They are apart of my every day life! They encourage me to stay active and doing what i live simultaneously! I care for pets in my home and in clients home with the same loving care! We play, cuddle, and play some more. Ive had pets with different needs and cared for them all as if they were apart of my family.
“Dougliana was absolutely amazing with my babies. She saved the day with last minute availability and sent me pictures and updates! I would never hesitate to use her again for my babies! She treated them like her own!”

“Deborah was great! I was in for a wedding and needed someone to watch my large dog for several hours. She responded quickly, was friendly and made me feel comfortable while at the wedding. Sent a picture too! If I’m up in the area again, would definitely call Deborah!! 💕”

About: Hi! I’m Victoria, a local Sanford dog sitter and proud dog mom to Leo, my toy schnauzer. I provide a safe, loving home environment where dogs are treated like family—not just pets. No cramped kennels or long hours alone. They’ll have the run of the house, plenty of outdoor time, belly rubs, treats, and all the love they could ask for. A brief Meet & Greet is required prior to sitting for all new clients to assure compatibility. I work remotely, which means your dog will have companionship and supervision throughout the day. Whether they’re here for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, they’ll enjoy plenty of outdoor breaks, playtime, cuddles, and individualized attention. I intentionally keep my boarding numbers low to create a calm, low-stress environment where every dog receives the care they deserve. We have policies in place to make sure dogs, who are escape artists, aren’t able to make a run for it, we space feeding time and walking time as research has shown eating prior to a walk and immediately after can cause bloating and other complications. It’s my mission your dog is safe at all times so you can worry less when your dog is not with you.

“We hit the jackpot! I’m reluctant to tell you how amazing this experience was and what wonderful people they are because I selfishly want them all to myself. But I have to share that Fahriye and Daniel are the most amazing dog hosts and they spoiled us! In addition to outstanding care, they groomed my dog, Simon, washed his bed, baked him treats, and gave us a special surprise gift. Who does this?! They do! They sent photos, were so easy going and, most importantly, Simon was so excited to see them on the second day! He requires endless affection and attention which they didn’t seem to mind at all. I brought home a happy, CLEAN!, exercised, and well-cared for dog. I am so relieved and grateful to have found them ❤️🐾🐕🦺”

“Our puppy was giving Sarah kisses when we went to pick him up. That's a 5 gold star review :) Sarah's location is great for families visiting Kennedy Space Center who need a pet sitter.”

“I was a first time user with Rover and luckily found Bruce! He has a beautiful place and great yard set up for the doggies. I, in five years, have never left my 3 chiweenie dogs anywhere other than home. They did great with Bruce and will use him again! I highly recommend his services”

About: The love I have for my Aussies, Elvis and Bean, is so special that I want to share that with your fur babies. Dogs are the greatest! Please note- I can only take dogs that are 25 lbs and under. I am blessed to work from home, so I am available 24/7 to love, play outside in my big fenced yard, cuddle and spoil them. I have a huge, fenced back yard and my home is their home. Furniture, beds, they will be right next to me loved all day.
“Charlene, Dave and their children are the sweetest and most loving people. They always make sure my puppy is well taken care of and treat him like their own doggies. They are so patient and always update me when I’m away! 10/10!!!!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 1,422 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Farmton. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Farmton commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,422 sitters in Farmton, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
