My mom had to evacuate to our home due to Hurricane Florence in coastal NC, and she has dogs of her own who we weren’t sure would get along with Bernard. We had to add days to Bernard’s stay multiple times due to my mom not being able to get home, and Bruce made room for him every time, even giving us a discounted rate out of kindness and understanding of the situation that was out of our control. Bernard was there for 2 weeks total, and he looked completely content and like he was having a ball in every photo Bruce sent me. It was like a vacation for Bernard! About: For as long as I can remember, I have always had a dog or two or 5 in my life! From my first job in a boarding facility, to picking up some grooming skills 15 years ago and still today, I just adore taking care of pets! The unconditional love & loyalty they offer is undeniably one of the best experiences of this existence, and I’m lucky to experience it over and over again with each new pup/kitten I care for! Catered to in home care, I am experienced with dogs/cats of all ages and breeds. For most of my adult life I’ve been the go to pet sitter for my friends and family who own pets. I’ve helped take care of puppies/kittens, hyper dogs, lazy dogs, senior dogs, special needs pets etc. My goal is always to keep your pet as happy and comfortable as possible while you are away. Services: Dog Walking: I would be happy to take your furry friend for a nice relaxing walk around your neighborhood. I have experience with all kinds of dogs (big dogs, small dogs, hyper dogs, dogs who pull, dogs that are distracted by everything, dogs that tire easily etc). I do ask that you provide poop bags for your dogs however. Check-ins and visits: Going away for a few days? Need someone reliable to take care of your pet while you're gone? Look no further. I can provide drop in visits for your pet. This includes walks, feedings, playtime and anything else your pet requires. Your furry friend is in great hands. Health needs: I have experience in caring for senior and special needs dogs. If your pet needs medications or any extra attention, I am equipped to handle such requests. I’m extremely flexible with my scheduling as I freelance various roles. This allows me to prioritize your precious pet with all of my attention as needed. I will first and foremost follow your guidelines and suggestions for how I should care for your pet. I’m very patient. I believe that maintaining a routine is core for keeping your pet happy. I will make sure your pets are happy and content while you’re gone. My yard is unfenced, leash trained dogs preferred for best boarding experience. I do have my own crate trained German Shepherd Sadie as well as 2 cats and a 4.5 year old assisting in keeping pets well entertained!
About: i will help take care of close friends and family's dogs or cats for example: if they went on a vacation i would take care of there fur babies i’ve done this many times. also i’ve taken care of a dog since i was 8 years old for the last 2-3 years of the dogs life he was disabled so i do also have experience with taking care of disabled dogs i also know a lot about dogs in general and how to keep them safe, and i love and adore animals so much. im currently working part-time at a restaurant as a hostess on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday‘s, so every Monday - Thursday i am free to take care of your pups at any time of the morning, day, or night you wont have to worry when i take care of your fur baby, i love animals and will always make them my first priority and i will always make sure that they are safe at all times. i will always make sure to never give them anything/let them have access to anything that may harm them or stress them out. if you book me for a service that requires for your fur baby to be at my home i do have a big fenced in backyard so your pup can run around and have fun outside, i have a water and food bowl they can use, i can give a bath to your pup if you want, i can do a little bit of training also of you'd like, and i also have a crate that can fit up to a 100lb dog (i will only use the crate if needed). i do have 2 cats they are super super dog and cat friendly they love other dogs and cats but if you don't want your fur babies around them just let me know and if your fur baby isn't cat friendly please please please let me know so i can make sure that my cats are safely in another area while your fur baby is over.
