“Lisa has the sweetest soul, and my dogs just naturally gravitate towards her. I left for 3 days and did not worry once because of how detailed and thorough Lisa was with all of her updates, including pictures and videos of the doggos. They were in great hands and were so happy to go on long walks multiple times a day. One of my dogs even needed to be hand-fed because she is a princess like that, and Lisa hand-fed her food like a champ! The other dog has stomach and joint issues so is on a very strict (and complicated) diet, but Lisa followed all instructions to the T, and I am just so thankful for her. Thank you for being the best dog sitter a girl can ask for, Lisa!”

“Priscilla watched our three pets and house sat for us while we were on vacation and she was amazing. We could tell the dogs and cat were in a good mood when we returned and our house was just as clean as when we left, we’d definitely recommend her and plan on using her in the future. She was even willing to go above and beyond and help us with some special requests.”

“Yuliana is always so fabulous! She is easy to communicate with, takes great care and sends tons of photos. Really enjoy having her watch my dog rocco and try to use her whenever I travel.”

About: Hi there — call me Joseph, J Taylor, Taylor, TayTay: I'm new to Rover, but I've spent over 10 years caring for dogs, cats, and other pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I’m your pet’s temporary bestie when you have to call out for the evening, the week, whatever the case may be! Whether it's a high-energy pup or a senior needing extra attention, I offer dependable, thoughtful care tailored to your pet’s needs. Outside of pet care, I’m a working stage actor with a physically active lifestyle, which means I’m more than able to keep up with dogs who need a bit more than a stroll around the block. When I’m not performing, pet care is something I’ve consistently returned to — not just for extra work, but because I genuinely enjoy it. I offer house sitting, drop-ins, and walks, with experience in administering medication, reinforcing training, and providing specialized support for both younger dogs and seniors. Some of my favorite animal memories in my life include Spankey, my “first dog”: a Blue Heeler/Pit mix who found us in a Minyard’s parking lot and stayed for life— and Monkey, my totally sweet scrappy barn cat who lived to 18. She was my girl! I’d be glad to connect and learn more about your pet and what they need — I’m flexible, communicative, and happy to work with any specifics you might have. Chat soon! 🐶 I’m home for the summer from school where I’ve just completed my first semester of my Master’s degree in Directing for Theatre. Open availability through the middle of August! I update my schedule regularly, up to 9 months in advance. As soon as I find out about openings in the future, feel free to plan ahead with me! Overnight, AM or PM, I’ll have you covered. I always start by following the guidance you provide. My background as both an actor and director has taught me when to lead, when to follow, and how to read a situation — skills that translate naturally into thoughtful, responsive pet care. In my care, animals are treated with respect for their individual needs. I don’t believe in overindulging just because they ask — I aim for a healthy balance. High energy dogs will get the movement they need; quieter pets will be gently engaged in ways that suit them. I let animals take the lead when it’s right, and I step in with structure when it’s needed. Caring for animals isn’t one-size-fits-all — it’s a thoughtful rhythm, and one I really enjoy finding with each pet.

About: Growing up, there was always at least one cat in my home. I had my sweet cat Binx for 17 years, and started actively taking care of him after I graduated high school at 18! I have experience with cleaning litter boxes, ensuring the water bowls are changed out daily, maintaining a consistent mealtime schedule, brushing fur, and of course playtime! I currently am not confident with nail clipping. While I don't have experience caring for dogs, I am willing to be a stand-in guardian for your canine companions. At the moment, please note I am not confident in handling large dogs as well as any breed with aggressive tendencies. Having a pet is serious business, and I will provide the best care I possibly can for your precious pets! I currently have the availability to work any day of the week. When any plans or obligations come up I will block those days off in my calendar. Each pet is different, and I will make sure to tailor my approach based on each individual pet. Basic care includes making sure the pets are fed according to client's instructions, providing clean water, brushing their fur, ensuring the living space is free of potential hazards, walking as frequently as needed, and looking for/listening to the cues the pet is giving me. If the pet is interested, playtime will be plenty! If you have a specific vet you go to, I would love to receive their details in the event of an emergency.

“Joseph is absolutely amazing with my dog, Snacks! He’s watched him a handful of times now, and every single time we pull up to his place, Snacks gets so excited—his tail wags like crazy, and he can’t wait to get inside. That kind of reaction gives me total peace of mind, knowing he’s happy, well cared for, and clearly loves being there. Joseph is also incredibly professional, quick to respond, and always sends me updates, which means I never have to worry about what’s going on. He’s reliable, kind, and clearly has a great connection with animals. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

Julia D.
“Julia is truly one of the kindest, most loving people I know, and my dogs, PeanutButter and CreamPuff, absolutely adore her! She has a natural way with both cats and dogs, always calm, gentle, and full of positive energy. Anyone lucky enough to book her will feel the same peace of mind (and see the same happy pets) that we do every single time we spend time with her.”
