“Rae and Chris are wonderful with our girl, Pickles. She is a rescue and hadn't been exposed to other dogs in her former home. We really needed to socialize her because we often have guests with dogs at our home. We nervously decided to try day care. Rae and Chris shared their knowledge about dog behavior and reassured us that she would be fine. Within minutes of her first day we got a video of her playing with other dogs! About: My son and I have taken care of dogs and cats for most of our lives. We value their companionship and consider them a part of our family. I work in an office during the week and my adult son is home and available 24/7. We tag team dog walks and caring for our animal friends. We have one medium dog and a tabby cat in the home. About: I've lived with and cared for dogs my entire life. As an adult, I fell in love with cats as well (just never got the exposure when I was younger). At present, I currently live with with four cats (all outdoor) and one dog. For work, I have retired from finance to instead work for my family business doing handyman and maid work around multiple house rentals in town, fixing up my own house in the spare time. I often visit my brother with his three cats and two dogs. We like to meet up at the Waggin' Tails dog park here in town to socialize our dogs and ourselves. I have also started volunteering at the local humane society to give needy animals some additional love, support, and attention. With my extra time, I'm now making myself available to help take care of even more cats, dogs, and homes than I already have been! I am self employed with the flexibility to start helping other people out. Some days I need to turn over a house cleaning mid-day as my family manages several houses for rentals, other days I am working on repairs and random home improvement projects; otherwise, I am generally around and available! There are two doorways between the boarding area and the outside. The property has a large fenced in yard, about a quarter acre with an attached smaller dog run that can be gated off. I have four outdoor cats that keep to themselves and I do have one very friendly, social dog. There is also a large, mostly unfinished basement with multiple rooms/areas with gates available throughout the house. Prior to the boarding, doggy day care, or house sitting, I will reach out to the owner and ask questions to gain more insight into how I can make the stay of their pet(s) a more homey and consistent one.

About: Located just 10 minutes west of the Legends of Kansas City, your fur-baby will get the TLC that you’d provide in your own home. Plenty of attention and room to run! I currently work some evenings and weekends in order to homeschool during the day so we are home often. I will be clear about availability during bookings. During bookings my two dogs (one is an outdoor farm dog) and cat will be kept separate to ensure the safety and comfort of all. I love getting out for walks and spending a some time in the backyard a few times a day. I work from home and can provide potty breaks as needed. If I have to be out it will be between 1 and 4 hours. We have a good routine at our house of getting out for a walk or backyard sniff session every morning and evening. I work from home, have a fenced in yard and a very calm home environment. I have a 35 lb dog, Charlie who sleeps all day. We live in a quiet neighborhood that's great for walks. If I go out it's usually about 1 or 2 hours and rarely up to 4 hours. If I have more than one dog, I never leave them in the same space while I'm gone... or when feeding. I'm a small human :) 5 ft tall so while I'm happy to take larger dogs they do need to be leash trained for their safety and mine. Puppies need to be crate trained for their safety too.
