About: I’m a retired educator and animal lover with the time and flexibility to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, and care. While I’m newer to professional pet sitting, I’ve cared for my own animals for years, completed two long-distance puppy transports from DFW to Charlotte and Los Angeles, and have repeat sitting experience with my cousin’s two dogs. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable and patient caring for your pets and home. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, whether that means walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or extra cuddles. I’m also comfortable giving basic medications if needed. What sets me apart is that I have the time to truly focus on your pets and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m retired, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to devote to caring for your pets. I can easily work around your pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, or quiet time. My goal is to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed by keeping their routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. I understand that trusting someone with both your pets and your home is a big decision. I will always treat your home with respect and care while making your pet’s safety and comfort my top priority. I pay close attention to routines, instructions, and any special needs to help pets feel secure and stress-free in their familiar environment. I’m dependable, calm, and attentive, and I believe in keeping owners updated with regular communication and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away.

I am a big animal lover; I have three dogs: Polly (chihuahua mix), Lilo (terrier mix), and Flik (terrier mix), and a sulcata tortoise named Jumba! I have fostered once with Austin Pets Alive and loved attending their events when I lived there. I am excited to spend some time with some friendly animals. I am a hybrid remote worker and am home 4 days a week and in office 3. I work regular business hours so morning and evenings after work are available. I have experience with both small and medium breeds. In the past I’ve had a lab and a pit bull. I have big house so there is room for crates if needed. I keep your pet engaged and give them lots of attention to calm and any anxiety they may experience being away from you.
