About: I have grown up taking care of my dog Bruce who is now 12 years old. Neighbors and friends have reached out to me to take care of and watch their dogs because they know I am someone they can trust. I am currently a life guard and an online college student with a flexible school schedule. I use dog sitting as my side hustle to make a little extra money along with my current job. I have taken care of dogs whose owners use kennels and a fenced in backyard for playtime, and also the opposite. This would be no kennel but keeping the dog inside when I leave, and taking the dog outside for playtime in a fenced in backyard. This depends on your preferences. I will feed, play with, and give potty breaks/outdoor playtime for your dog. I can also walk your dog for an extra charge.
“Maya was very professional and super understanding of my overly spoiled dogs, I left the house in not the best condition and she definitely left my house in better condition than she found it! She was super attentive and let me know when my dogs were getting into stuff. I would definitely rebook”

“Nita is amazing!! She house sat and watched our boys recently and I couldn’t have asked for anyone to do a better job!! The boys love her, and she’s very patient with all their quirks and crazy habits. 1000% recommend her to watch your furbabies. She is our go to whenever we need a sitter.”

“Lyndsey is the best nanny for my dogs! She stays in my home over night with them and treats them like they are her own! My dogs love her so much and we’re so thankful to have her! I have rebooked numerous times and will continue as long as I can with her! Highly recommend!!!”

“Meleah was amazing! She communicated, sent updated and pictures which I loved! She was super sweet and my dogs warmed up to her quick. Especially my girl dog who is a little timed with people but she did amazing! Definitely will book with her again!”

“Having Ayisha at our place was just amazing. She was super nice with our dog. She kept us updated throughout the entire stay and even went out of her to help us solve a small issue at home. We are so grateful for her care and kindness. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to take care of their pets. We ll definitely be calling her again!”

“Mikayla was clearly very good with my babies. Unfortunately I left her with both dogs under the weather and returned to a pair of happy, health pups full of energy. She took care of my home and left everything very tidy. It was a pleasure having her and I wouldn't hesitate to engage her again.”

“Alyssa was able to sit for me on two separate occasions in a short period of time and did a great job. Anisa and Cairo got their share of walks and parks trips and were happy to see Alyssa upon arrival.she took care of the house and sent plenty of pictures upon request.”
“Yvette did a great job. We have an aggressive dog so our situation isn’t the easiest for most sitters but she kept everyone safe and our home clean. We would highly recommend her.”

“Jessica was fantastic, she really knew her stuff and was able to bond with my pup quicker than any dogsitter I've had. She also clearly loves dogs. I'll be a return client for sure.”

Far South pet parents share their Rover experiences
I cannot say good enough things about Raymell! She was wonderful watching my golden retriever, she was in the best care while I was gone. I received constant updates and photos. She went above and beyond. I will 100% be rebooking for her in the future. Wish I could give her more than 5 stars for treating my baby as her own while I was gone.

Christina was just so calm and great with my mini schnauzer and elderly Shihtzu. She and I had some adversity the morning before she arrived but her calm demeanor was just a blessing. I heard from her by text. She followed instructions a sent photos of the dogs. She is mature calm compassionate experienced and familiar with dogs and other animals. I highly recommend her.

Arrived early and was able to stay later than anticipated! She arrived to the hotel early and kept my dog company until our return. My dood is very Velcro and gets anxious when we leave. “Sue” was able to reassure her and kept her calm and quiet and those avoiding any hotel guests complaining…Highly recommend!! Will definitely contact her again for our next visit to the area.

Sam was absolutely incredible, and I cannot recommend her enough! From the very beginning, she went above and beyond by coming over for a meet and greet so she could fully understand our dogs’ routines and needs. That alone gave us so much peace of mind before leaving for our trip. While we were away, Sam communicated consistently and thoughtfully—sending updates and photos that reassured us our dogs were not only well cared for, but genuinely happy. It was clear she wasn’t just “checking in,” she was truly spending quality time with them and enjoying their company. We have three dogs, including one who can be a bit more challenging, and even she warmed up to Sam right away with no issues. That speaks volumes about her calm, caring nature and her natural connection with animals. On top of that, she was incredibly responsible and made sure our home was safe and well looked after. We came home to happy dogs and total peace of mind. Sam is trustworthy, attentive, and clearly loves what she does—and our dogs absolutely love her right back. We will 100% be using her again in the future!

I can’t express enough how grateful I am for Carla! This was my first time using this app, and honestly, it was for a trip that almost didn’t happen. I found Carla at the last minute, and I’m so glad I did! She was amazing with my pups and took wonderful care of our home. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for pet care! We’ll definitely be reaching out to her again—she’s officially part of our pack now!
