We left them for almost two weeks and I was so nervous but Jen quickly made me feel at ease. She obviously loves what she does, and she is the best at it. My husband even commented that there are people who dog sit, and then there is Jen who is just another level of caring and awareness. She asked so many great questions., I knew my dog's were in good hands. We received plenty of updates and we could see how happy and well taken care of our pups were. We also have a snail and shrimp aquarium which Jen took care of beautifully. I'm so grateful to have found her. Not only were dogs, snails, and shrimp were so well taken care of, our house was just as we left it and perfect. About: I have had cats as pets my whole life and dogs as an adult. I have been pet sitting for about 6 years to dogs from puppies to seniors. Times have ranged from weekends to a month. I started fostering kittens when covid hit. I have found joy in caring for animals with all their different personalities. I have become experienced in all things kittens : bottle feeding , tube feeding administering medicine (my neighbor will even call me to give her pets pills) flea baths ringworm baths, brushing teeth you name it . I have even had to help kittens cross the rainbow bridge. It has been bitter sweet , but the love they give is more then enough. All animals deserve the best treatment and love we can give them I have been in education for 20 years teaching art and currently an administrator for the districts Fine Arts Department. My schedule is flexible enough to be able to check on animals during the day so they are taken care of. I have found pet sitting and fostering to be very rewarding and someday would like to start my own fostering service . Foster group Tall Tail Rescue . My job is flexible enough that i can leave for lunch and take care of your pets in the middle of the day as well. I have three cats that have been around lots of dog and cat “visitors” . About: I've had dogs my entire life and always helped out friends and family with dog sitting. This has included staying walking, feeding, administering meds, and playing with their pups or just checking on them during the day while they are at work! I now have two cats of my own (Oscar and Poppy) and help out my mom and sister with their cats when they are out of town! I understand how all pets are different and will respect your pets boundaries and do what I can to make them the most comfortable while you are away. I prefer smaller dogs or dogs that do not require a lot of exercise as I am not as comfortable walking big dogs. I work as an educator and am free majority of the day during the summer. I can come check on your pets multiple times a day and ensure they are loved on, played with, fed, and watered! I will love on your pets and play with them like my own or simply check on them from afar if that is what they prefer. I am looking to care for your pet in an environment where they are most comfortable and will cater to their preferences and respect their boundaries.
