About: 10 years of Veterinary technician experience as well as a degree in veterinary tech from St Pete College. Dog training also available at the local club in Chiefland. Love all ages of dogs AND cats. I recently stepped away from my vet tech job of 10 years to care for my newborn. I have availability almost everyday and several times a day if needed. I have 5 dogs, 1 cat, and sheep that live at my house. I also breed, show, and participate in several sports with my Australian Cattle Dogs. I will not be able to care for client animals at my home due to all the animals. I will most likely bring my infant with me during care at your home but will be mindful in safety for your pet as well as my child.

About: I’ve grown up with pets all my life, ranging from house pets to farm animals. I’ve helped care for friends and family’s pets while they are away- feeding, bathing, walking, and playing with pets. I’m currently working on getting back into school so my schedule is open for pet care. I am available week days and weekends- open to your pet care needs. I am able to do drop in visits, all day care, or walking during the day. I’m willing to do visits and care until 8 PM on week days and weekends.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old love knowing that somebody’s baby has someone to snuggle and play. No matter what. I’m currently a single mom with a huge flexibility work from home open hours. Whenever you need your baby to be watched, I will be available. We supply market boxes with fresh produce that we pick from local farms and artisanal vendors. Get your groceries when you pick up your dog! We are very busy. Please plan your trip and communicate appropriately. Failure to be on-time as communicated may result in an extra late fee of $25. This is because being ready early and having the gate open for someone that doesn't arrive as announced denies valuable free time to dogs under our care. If you select a range of time beyond 1 hour for pickup and drop off, such as "1pm-3pm or 6pm-9pm," this will also incur a $25 fee. Time is money and my time is valuable. To avoid these fees simply narrow your windows of arrival and be on time. Thank you. This is a 15 acre forest property with walking trails for your dogs to run on. All walks are conducted on-leash unless we know your pup recalls well. We are fenced but most fences are 4ft and escape is not impossible (we havent had one yet!) There are several dig-proof 10x10 covered kennels with dog igloo, but no animals are allowed outside during extreme weather. We have an air-conditioned house equipped with crates but we may ask that you provide one. Dogs are with a human most of the time. We don't go too far away for too long due to them being in the house and needing potty. No dogs mix with any other dogs unless we think it will be a good mix. We have enough dog crates, kennels, babygates, and garden pens to ensure that. Your tiny dog will never meet a larger dog face to face. Dogs are rotated all day between quiet/feed time, 2 main walk times per day, free run time if applicable, kennel time, and potty breaks. There's a lot of wildlife and plenty to sniff. We may jazz up kibble meals with homemade chicken stock, local meat scraps, farm scrambeled eggs, sardines etc when we make the big pack bowl. If your pet recalls off-leash and behaves perfectly you can qualify for a reduced rate after the first boarding, which may be $19/night if you qualify My schedule is entirely open at the moment and I am usually at home, or someone is. The dogs get rotated between crate feed time, walks, free run time in a gated area, kennel time outdoors and possible play time with my dogs. No dogs mix (mine or yours, or various clients dogs). Every booking dogs are kept in their own rotation so if its time for their walk and run, other dogs may be in quiet time inside having come in from their time. Interactions are tightly controlled and monitored, but welcome when everything is just right to make that happen. I stress test every dog on arrival. This means giving some crate time to evaluate how they will handle being alone if I am away; for their safety and to ensure no damages. I create safe spaces that they can lay down and have peace and quiet, but allow them to mingle and wander around if there's no concerns. At no time is any animal allowed to be free in such a manner they could leave the premises. I wont even off-leash in my gated area unless I know the dog well. Some dogs can jump high! Feeding is morning and evening. We do walks when it isn't too hot. They may be crated temporarily if left alone on the property, but have plenty time to lay on the futon and stretch out otherwise. I also use outdoor kennels for unsupervised fresh air time. Otherwise i let them run around me and the pen when I'm outside working.

About: I have been a vet tech for about 10 years now. I have experience working with dogs, cats, small birds and pocket pets. I am comfortable medicating and am really good with nervous pets. I can feed, walk and play with your dogs or snuggle with your cats and give them plenty of attention. I love senior pets and am happy to stay with them longer if needed. I treat your pets like they are my own and make sure they feel loved when you are away. I currently work full time as vet tech but my weekends and midweek are open if you need me all day. Otherwise I can stop by twice a day during the week to care for you babies. My goal is to care for your pets just like you would if you were home. It is so much less stressful for them to be in their home instead of boarding. I am very detail oriented and am happy to follow your instructions for care.

About: I love all animals! I grew up with cats and dogs. I currently have two cats of my own and I grew up with an American Eskimo. Since, I was a teenager I’ve also spent time taking care of friends and families animals. I’m currently working part-time and would be free to spend a lot of time taking care of your pets throughout the week. I can also house overnight if that works better for you. I have a fenced yard and a lot of yard space so your doggies can ran free! I also live with my sisters who love animals as well and are willing to help walk any dogs if I can’t.

I am tolerant of behavioral issues, shy animals, and animals with disorders or disabilities. I’ve been taught to take care and provide for animals my whole life. I’ve grown up with a wide variety of dog breeds, from Pit-Bulls, Beagles, Huskies, Shih Tzus, Rat Tarriers, Dachshunds, etc. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! I am available most of the time, and keep my calendar detailed so I can share with you what days I’m available months in advance! I spend most of my time in Alachua, Gainesville, & Branford but can accommodate longer distances with longer stays. Most weekends I am free, and I can easily do drop-in visits nearby! I care for each animal based on the owners needs and requests. I appreciate having a heads up on your pets typical behaviors and habits, and any “rules” you may like them to follow.

About: My entire life has always revolved around my pets and sharing the love with other animals always brings me joy. I have raised my own animals and cared for many strays. I am currently between jobs so I have a open schedule and I am very flexible. I live in High Springs and I am willing to commute up to an hour away! The pets I care for always will get plenty of play time during visits. All pets will be thoroughly watched over and made sure are safe and happy! I am also happy staying a bit longer free of charge just to hangout and play with furry friends a little longer :)

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was 10. I’ve always felt a need to protect dogs from any harm, kind of like my second nature. I love being around dogs and making an impact on them whether its teaching them a new trick or just playing with them to make them happy. Can walk, feed, and bathe your pets! About: I am born and raised on a farm AND I currently live on a farm! In the house, my family and I have always had cats and dogs. I would be opened to also helping out if you have any farm animals. I am 24 years old and in college, studying to be a cardiovascular technologist. I’m looking to fill my time helping out with animals, since that is what I’m most comfortable with! I’m currently in school. Monday through Thursday, I am usually busy from 8 AM till about 3 PM. But if I have an early enough notice, I can figure something out. I love to play with animals! I will spam your phone with photos and I am super quick with responses. Your pets will be treated as my own!

About: I have a lot of people on my behalf that would recommend me to sit your animals. I have the biggest heart for every animal! Dog sitting fits my schedule very well, with weekday availability after 5 PM for walks, feeding, and care, and flexible, devoted time throughout my weekends. I prefer to watch your animal at your home, ensuring comfort and familiarity for them, unless an emergency happens that requires alternate arrangements for their care.
