About: For as long as I can remember, there has always been animals in my house, but the last 13 years are where my real growth has happened for me as a pet parent and carer. In my own home, there’s always been a variety from dogs to hedgehogs to cats to lizards. I have often found myself as a haven for wayward creatures in need of respite. I have experience caring for, raising, and training puppies as well as caring for senior dogs. I work full time as a teacher but I am often around on the weekends and evenings and am happy and able to make pets a part of my routine! Any space I am in is always treated with the upmost respect— I don’t touch what isn’t mine, I don’t touch what I don’t need to. Integrity and honesty are paramount. If there is an issue with anything, I of course will be upfront about it, as that is what I would expect and want from anyone in my home. Dog sitting fits my schedule very well, with weekday availability after 5 PM for walks, feeding, and care, and flexible, devoted time throughout my weekends. About: I’ve taken care of many different dogs since I was little my father taught me to love and take care of animals from a young age. I’ve helped raise puppies and dogs of many ages and sizes I love them all! I make sure to stick to their schedules and that’s with their feeding, walking or any activity they may have I make sure to keep their routine up I have a lot of love to give I make sure they are happy and well fed and played with I don’t mind giving them baths and I have some experience with nail trimming I make sure they get enough exercise as well I don’t mind taking them on walks but also love to cuddle with them when it’s time to relax I take care of them as if they are my own I give them all the love and attention they need I always make sure to do a great job and I’ve had family friends and people I’ve pet sat for tell me the same that I’m very caring and do a great job! I’m currently unemployed I do a few babysitting jobs here and there but my schedule is very open I always move my schedule around to fit the needs of the pets I’m babysitting and of their owners as I like to make sure to stick to their daily routine so the pet feels comfortable I live in a mobile home so no fenced in yard my fur babies get walked on a leash and certain times of the day usually when there’s no other dogs around as mine are small dogs they get nervous around big dogs but they are very friendly I make sure to keep them safe always checking the surroundings I’m very protective of my fur babies but also those that are in my care make sure they are safe well fed and clean i usually have wipes for my babies that I use in between baths or if their paws get dirty I’ll clean them up I also check to see if they need nail trimming and I give them treats when they are well behaved which is all the time I run around with them when inside of the house they do have a kennel usually in their when it’s bed time and sometimes during the day when I’m babysitting kids they tend to get nervous but are super friendly with kids they just sometimes get overwhelmed so I put them in their safe space and they’ll usually sleep or play around with their stuffed toys and I’ll take them out either every thirty minutes to an hour or every two hours to either go potty or to walk around the house

My whole life, my family has always had a house full of animals- from dogs and cats to lizards, birds, rabbits, hamsters, etc. Now, as an adult, I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, all with extremely unique and different personalities. I spent 6 years volunteering at my local humane society and have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and caring for all sizes and breeds of dogs and cats. I am very comfortable with any breed of dog and I am also very respectful of cats, I am keen on pets cues for boundaries. I understand all pets are different and I’d be honored to help you and your fur family in your time of need, while on vacation, etc. I’ve used rover in the past as a customer and have had good experiences with the app. I am new to this area but if you give me a chance I promise to take the best care of your pets while building trust in this community.
